Super innovative and great options. The best!
Super innovative and a variety of great options for developers and agencies, including dedicated hosting, unlimited hosting, domains, world-class plugins built by the WPMUDEV team, the Hub, and much more, all in one place. WPMUDEV's support is second to none. Ask anyone! WPMUDEV runs circles around the so-called "big names," e.g., Bluehost, etc. If you're a WordPress developer or an agency, or both, WPMUDEV should be the only choice for your WordPress business.

We’re sorry to hear about your experience and understand how concerning this must have been.
The fixed version of the WPMU DEV Dashboard was released on the same day the vulnerability was reported. We would nevertheless like to review your specific case and make sure everything is in order.
Please get in touch with our Support team through your Hub. We’d appreciate the opportunity to look into your situation and see what we can do to help.

We cancelled our membership in 2019
We were happy with the product when it was around the £45 a year mark. We missed an email from them saying they had changed the plan so it was now $300 per year and were shocked when they started taking out this amount from my card. I emailed them and they were unbelievably helpful and refunded the increased amount immediately

Hi Barry,
We’re sorry for the concern these charges caused.
We received your email earlier today and replied approximately two hours later, shortly before this review was posted, so it appears our response and your review may have crossed.
Our review found that although your original membership was cancelled in 2019, a separate plugin subscription was purchased in 2020 and remained active. We have explained the subscription history privately and issued a full refund of the latest $300 payment, which should reach your account within 5 - 10 business days.
Please check your inbox and spam folder for our response. We remain available if you have any further questions or concerns.
Best regards,

So disappointed. Really terrible service.
I've been a customer for over 7 years. Today, my finance team told me they increased our bill by $1000. We had been paying $150 each year. Evidently, last year, they automatically upgraded everyone to "premium" with a 90% discount, to intentionally obscure how much this increase would be. It is in NO WAY WORTH that much money. For the weight these plugins add to your site, it is in no universe, worth that much. And, to be told it was MY FAULT for not checking an email thats sent 3 days before billing... not a month before, not 90 days. 3. 3 days notice. What if its over a weekend? what if im on PTO? Just so, SO dissapointed in this company after telling people about how good it was for years. Will be replacing all of their plugins in the next 30 days.

Hi Reid,
We're sorry to hear how disappointed you were, particularly after being a customer for more than seven years and recommending WPMU DEV to others.
We understand that receiving a renewal at a significantly higher amount than you had previously been paying was frustrating, and that you expected more time and clearer communication to review such a substantial change. We also understand that your concern was not simply about the renewal itself, but about how the change was communicated and the value you felt you were receiving.
Your feedback regarding renewal notifications, pricing transparency, and the overall customer experience has been noted and will be shared with the appropriate teams for review.
We appreciate the many years you've spent with WPMU DEV, and we're sorry that this experience has left you feeling let down.

Be aware of high renewal fee
Be aware of the renewal price of $180 after signing up for a heavily discounted rate of $36. They were willing to refund the remaining portion of my invoice after I was charged the larger amount without cancelling.

Excellent Value and Outstanding WordPress Tools
Hello
I've been working with WordPress professionally for many years, and I can genuinely say that WPMU DEV is one of the best investments I've ever made.
What impressed me the most is Defender. It's an excellent security plugin with a clean interface, powerful features, and regular updates. Combined with the Patchstack vulnerability protection, it gives me real peace of mind when managing client websites.
The platform has saved me countless hours and simplified my workflow. The plugins are reliable, well-maintained, and backed by a team that clearly cares about quality.
As a web solutions developer, I appreciate companies that focus on delivering real value rather than just adding features for marketing. WPMU DEV has consistently exceeded my expectations.
Thank you to the entire WPMU DEV team for creating such an outstanding platform. I highly recommend it to anyone managing WordPress websites, whether you're a freelancer, agency, or business owner.
Best of Luck

The worst company to use for hosting or any service
The worst company to use for hosting, mailing, domain and any website-related service. DO NOT take their services. They can suspend any website anytime and complete account all of a sudden. They are not customer centric and operate as a bad hosting provider.
Your business data or any other service is not at all safe with them.
They provide monthly service and without notice your website, mail service or any service can be down. I have suffered big loss due to their unprofessional activities. They put my all emails down in just seconds and their staff also does not have information about the issues going on inside their company. Please take all your data off and have backups else you will have to suffer later. They can disable your account anytime. It is a soft warning from my side

Hi Ashish,
This review omits significant context, so we'd like to provide it.
Your account was not suspended or terminated without notice. Before taking any action, we contacted you multiple times regarding credible abuse reports concerning one of the websites hosted on your account, provided multiple opportunities for you to respond, and carefully assessed the information available to us before reaching our final decision.
After receiving an additional abuse report concerning the same website and obtaining further information, we concluded that we could no longer continue providing services for your account in accordance with our Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy.
Although we made the decision to close the account, we still provided time for you to retrieve your data and transition your services.
We take reports of fraud and abuse seriously. Following repeated communication and a thorough assessment of the information available to us, we stand by our decision to terminate the account.
We wish you all the best moving forward.
I contacted support with an issue on my website. They were great.
I contacted support with an issue on my website, they were available at 6:30pm EDT on a Friday and within 15 minutes resolved it. I have been using WPMU for many years and am extremely happy with the service and support. I would recommend them to anyone.

They're fast, knowledgeable and actual human response sets them far above the rest of the hosting companies out there. This alone makes them the number one WordPress hosting platform in my opinion, never mind their seamless site management and tools!
