Workada Arvostelua 

I'm always suspicious when I see the positive reviews all coming on the same date or within a day or two (July 30, 2026). The negative comments I've read mirror my experience so far:
- pretty much a "are you breathing" interview to get hired
- an onboarding of some value, but also confusing and hurried
- then a full failure when the sign-in code system errors out and does not allow training to begin. ie - can't start working
- but the worst part is the non-existent support which sends canned responses and never resolves the issues; likewise, none of the pod leaders you're assigned respond to your inquiries for assistance.

The things that did work well were getting Slack setup, the online dashboard login, and of course, the banking information for payment...hmmm. I'm moving on but too bad as the business model is a great idea...just ruined by poor business operations.

If you want to work for free and get your calibration tasks judged by an ai (totally not antithetical to having humans being the ones to judge ai work) that autofails and explains nothing this is the company for you!

I had a scheduled 15-minute interview with Workada for an AI related role. The interview consisted of reviewing a few AI generated images and providing QA scores, but I was not given any explanation of the company's evaluation rubric or what the 1–5 scoring system represented. As someone with experience evaluating AI outputs, I found the process overly simplistic and lacking the context needed to make consistent assessments. I left feeling that candidates were expected to guess the company's internal standards rather than evaluate against clearly defined criteria. The compensation was also only about $1 above New York State minimum wage. You're better off working at McDonald's.

Be careful with them! I had an interview and then a training and calibration that took forever. They paid for 4 hours of it. Then I got to work for 3 hours and got off boarded without any explanation. I do not recommend them. Especially if you have a degree! Anyone I have seen off boarded has had a degree. Again, be very careful.

interviewer Aijalon Wallace was rude and unprofessional during my application process. He arrived about 18 minutes late for the 20-minute interview and then failed to respond to my request for some kind of follow-up after 5 days. Looks like a scam.

I've greatly enjoyed my experience working for Workada. It's been great watching the company grow. It feels like we are building something sustainable for the long term unlike most others in this space. The work is flexible, the people are interesting, and the team is supportive. For a company that only got started a few months ago, and seeing all the growth that has occurred in such a short time, I'd definitely recommend Workada to anyone looking for flexible remote work and opportunities to grow alongside the company.

I’ve been with Workada for a little over three months now, and it’s been a genuinely wonderful experience. It’s been a pleasure watching the company grow so quickly while still keeping a real human touch. Everyone I’ve interacted with has been approachable, supportive, and always willing to help, and that makes a huge difference.

It’s refreshing to see a company like this—one that truly values the people who are part of it. I’m grateful to be part of the team, and I’m looking forward to seeing Workada continue to grow.

Full disclosure: Workada's new, and things can be a little hectic. But that's the only mark against it, and the team is putting genuine effort into improving and refining things.

And that might be Workada's biggest strength: a core team who cares enough to actually listen to the people who work for them and implement changes accordingly. As a pod lead, I get a better view of that than most contributors, and it inspires confidence in the company's trajectory. So much so that I've suggested working here to friends and relatives.

And I can say with complete sincerity that they've put together a great group of pod leads who are enthusiastic about helping the members of their pods excel. We're on Slack every day, discussing how to improve things and how to better help our pod members. We've got a pretty cool community coming together.

Oh yeah, and the work is interesting and engaging. AI gets pretty wacky, and we have fun with that.

I feel fortunate to have found this job, and I'm looking forward to working for Workada for as long as they'll have me.

I feel lucky to have found this position as it sets itself apart from other AI companies by emphasizing community and a strongly structured learning foundation. There is a real human to help you with questions and consistent task availability.

I have had nothing but great experiences, and yes, there is AI, but you also deal with the humans. They want the best quality you can give and to help you succeed. Added August 13, still one of the best places I have worked for. Great people, great company, and I hope to stay with them as long as I can.

Workada is an AI data research team that is rapidly expanding. We offer the human connection a lot of similar companies don't. Rather than "tasking" (rating AI outputs) independently we have a team structure, advanced training, and weekly touch-base with your team lead and fellow members.
This role has allowed me to work from home, totally flexibly, and build skills like management and keeping up with everything AI.

I have been working for Workada for a little over six weeks, and I have not regretted it one bit! After one month, I was offered a promotion to a Pod Lead with a substantial raise in pay. They offer many resources to help their contributors hone their AI training skills and level up when they are doing exceptional work. I am able to attend meetings with REAL humans weekly where I can ask/ answer questions and give/receive feedback. This resource alone is invaluable and not found within all AI training companies. They have a great team of admins and managers that are always willing to help when I need it. I can see myself working with this company for a long time! I feel blessed to have found this company, and I hope many people can make their way here.

AI training company that is different from every other one out there. They have put in so much resource into people and process, that it makes freelancing worth it. Vey responsive as well. You get to be part of a slack channel with other contributors, so you actually know what's going on. Pay is good and reliable. Solid 10/10 for me.
