Unauthorized Subscription Renewal without any Refund
I was accidantally charged last year for unauthorized subscription renewal and immediately cancelled my renewal. This year AGAIN they charged me for subscription renewal. I don't know why they keep stealing from poor people but there should be a way to cancel the subscription without any tricks. They don't let me cancel my subscription and charge me every year. They don't respond to emails/chats/and there is no customer service. There is only one but saying we don't have any refunds. But they don't respond to unauthorized subscription renewal!

If you cancel your subscription
If you cancel your subscription, please screenshot it and save it. If you are charged $119.88 for a recurring subscription you will NOT be able to get your money back. Please check BBB reviews. Also, if you try to contact their customer service, good luck. They operate by chat and it can take 24 hours to respond back to you, if they respond. I did try sending emails, they never responded! I had to reach out to their parent company, AI21 labs. Seems like I finally got a response via chat the next day. So if you like poor customer service this is the company for you.

I have had a great experience with word tune. Starting school again after being away for 10 years and having children, I was very uncertain of my writing. Through word tune, I was able to effectively and easily paraphrase, shorten, and write more professionally and concisely. They also have the best customer service support.

Wordtune is great but...
It is an excellent grammar and spelling checker. I wanted to install it today, and I discovered it was no longer available on the Chrome web store. Several days ago, I had to uninstall it because it didn’t want to load or show a pop-up window when I clicked on the icon. Does anyone on the team know what happened? It is a hassle to type the web client’s URL constantly or search through your browsing history to find it. What a bummer.

I entered a free trial for their premium membership, which i then cancelled on the last day before I was supposed to be charged. That took over 5 tries to do, as their website kept not allowing me to cancel and crashing me out the server. I received no confirmation of cancellation, to then look into my bank account the next day and they have taken over £90. I did not receive no notification to state my free trial ended or a confirmation of payment absolutely nothing, and I evidently did not want to pay £90 for something i only needed to use once. I then contacted them on their live chat which seems to be their only way of contacting, to be told by a robot refunds aren’t available and for my chat to be deleted, i then continued to open new chats in order to speak to someone that is not a BOT, and still have gotten no where. They are a scam, I should be refunded my money back, yet they never respond nor do they have another method of contact. I will be reporting them.

Good support and intuitive design
Wordtune does exactly what I was looking for in an AI writer. I love the amount of suggestions it provides and how seamless it is using the extension and desktop app.

Renewing Subscription
I am wondering how you can renew my subscription with a debit card on file that is expired. I no longer want this service and think your policy is absolutely ridiculous that refunds are not provided. I will be passing along to everyone to not use this service.

I canceled 1 year ago, My membership was renewed again
My membership was renewed after I canceled one year ago when they tried charging me after cancellation. This makes no sense, I will be reporting them to BBB this is the dirty business they are conducting. I like the product but I stop because they are dirty.

Membership renews despite cancellation
Last year, I canceled my Wordtune subscription. Somehow, it was renewed, and the annual plan charge was taken from my bank account. When I checked my account, it appeared that the subscription was not canceled. I am 100 percent sure I canceled it last year and have not used the account since. I canceled it again, but I did not receive a confirmation. The account settings now show it as canceled, but the payment for the entire year has already been taken for premium plan. I can not fine any email address or phone number to contact them. Can someone please help.

Wordtune is a SCAM company that will charge you even after you cancel
I cancelled my Wordtune subscription. I followed the instructions to a T. I never received any info from Wordtune with a receipt for either my subscription or my cancellation. When the next year rolled around Wordtune renewed my subscription - although I had cancelled. They never sent me any paperwork - although they told my credit card company, they had sent me info (receipts) by email - this is absolutely not true. I have never received an email from this company. They also sent the bank info saying I could call customer service 805-203-0659 - this just has "User Busy" when you call at the top of the screen it does not even ring. They also said you can email them - but you only get a BOT - and you go round and round with no real answers or help. You cannot speak with a person no matter what you type. I downloaded the App to see if I could connect with someone that way but because I had cancelled my subscription, I don't have an account anymore. Also, interesting that when they falsely renewed my subscription, they charged me the most expensive one - not the original one I had - what a SCAM this company is. I am not going to let this go. I am contacting the Better Business Bureau, the Attorney General and my State Representative. Companies should not be able to charge your credit card if they do not provide a way for you to speak with them about the charge.
