It is not a 5 star because we received panels with an odd bright "scar" pattern in them. The good news is that Woodupp worked to keep us satisfied and supplied new panels to replace the bad ones!
We have two walls with WoodUpp and they look great!

I was planning to purchase an Embrace…
I was planning to purchase an Embrace BM1 along with accessories. WoodUpp instructed me to order the accessories through their website and said they would be shipped with my BM1. I was also told that if my accessory order exceeded $159, I would receive free shipping and that “this would save on the total cost for your Embrace order.” Their website also advertises “Free shipping on orders over $159.”
Based on that information, I purchased over $159 worth of accessories. Only afterward did I learn that the BM1 would still have an additional $378.98 oversized shipping charge.
My issue isn't simply the high shipping cost. It's that I made a purchasing decision based on the shipping information WoodUpp provided and advertised on their website, only to learn afterward that the free shipping did not reduce the BM1 shipping charge as I reasonably understood it would.

Needed light beige installation screws with my order. They were showing as out of stock. I weighted for them to return. Now the site shows them as not an option at all and I have to go with a color that is not matching AND pay a separate delivery fee. Wasted a lot of time needlessly.

I completely understand your frustration here. 😔 You waited specifically for the Light Beige screws to come back in stock, only to find that they were no longer available as an option at all. Having to then choose a colour that doesn’t match as well and pay an additional delivery fee understandably makes the situation even more disappointing.

Great product! Could improve packaging.
We really enjoy the look that the WoodUpp panels bring to our space. The finished product has a modern, high-end appearance and creates the exact aesthetic we were hoping for.
However, we will say that we were disappointed in the packaging and product handling. Several wood slats from just about every package arrived loose or chipped and detached from the acoustic backing. This requires additional install and assembly to nail the pieces back to the felt… given the premium price compared to other companies, we expect a more durable design to ensure complete product experience.
Overall, great product though! Just requires some handiness.

The product is well made, beautiful, and easy to install. The staff is available, friendly, and helpful.
Feedback: The panels could use more staples, if you have to cut horizontally to fit, there’s commonly only one staple holding the slat on so we have to glue them on individually.

We bought these panels for our bedroom…
We bought these panels for our bedroom thought it would make a nice focus wall. We have several renovation projects going on so when the boxes were delivered we just placed them in the garage for about two week. Last weekend we went to install them just to find out every board, except for one was damaged. We had to make cuts on tops and bottoms of the boards to get the damaged pieces off. Unfortunately we did not have time to address this with the company and just needed to get the project done.
I did reach out and sent pictures of all the damage. We ended up with 4 board left that were going on another wall. I got word they would send us a replacement box for those but no other compensation for the other damaged boards because we installed them. The wall looks nice but if you look close it’s a bit wavy because we had to cut off the damaged ends. Overall I’d look to buy a local product and not have to deal with shipping these as they seem extremely prone to shipping damage
As a follow up, they shipped out another box of wood panels. Once again the box was open on box ends and this time are not only damaged but sustained water damage and have mold on them.
