Wood Floor Warehouse Arvostelua 

Ordered 55sqm of untreated solid oak parquet flooring. Every single piece is riddled with remnants of WOOD WORM! Customer service have said that this is normal and to be expected and that it can be filled. So they expect us the fill 55sqm of flooring! Totally unacceptable and will not be using them again!

Bought oak loom lament for 5x4 room for £500

Delivery fine. On time.

We stored it as per instructions. Flat on floor.

Every pack was bowed from the warehouse. Nightmare to lay. Thought it may be one pack but it was every one.

Already starting to pop up.

Will probably have to strip the lot out and relay a different floor.

Really unhappy.

I call everyday and they have very little update on the status of my order. Order ed over £1000's worth of floor, we haven't received it even though it has been signed for. They had no idea idea who the courier was, we've found out it was Box Logistics- who have terrible reviews on Google.

I've been advised to order more floor... Yes pay again for more floor.

Avoid at all costs.
I've launched a case with PayPal to try and get my money back.

I just bought LVT flooring for 2 days. The floor has not been sent, and I have not received it. I want to change my mind to cancel and get a refund. They told me they couldn't take my refund because they have a rule that they can't take a refund if everyone buys their product in the store. But this is against UK law. My internet search for UK law shows "You must offer a refund to the customer if they tell you within 14 days of receipt. The item they want to cancel. Once they tell them they have 14 days to return the item to you. You have to refund the customer within 14 days of receiving the return. They don't have to give a reason." I'm very disappointed in their decision. I don't know why they can over the UK law. Now I'm going to Trading Standard to complain about them.

What poor service yet again!!! Still no delivery- no one seems to know where my order is…..Wood Floor Warehouse assured me that they would phone me back with an update today- still waiting. Does anyone at Wood Floor Warehouse give a damn about customer service???We won’t be recommending Wood Floor House ……..

I’ve been using woodfloor warehouse for years buying floors for customers and I can’t say enough about the quality of their floors and the knowledge and approachability of the staff . If only other companies where as professional .

I took an unpaid afternoon off work to wait in for a delivery that I had paid extra for the privilege of a PM delivery.
It never arrived. Wood floor warehouse was closed, contacted Saturday AM via phone to be told nothing can be done. Just not impressed at all.

I recently signed up as a trade customer with WFW because they had the closest laminate to my favourite which UKFlooringDirect no longer sold.

I placed an order in April to go to Site A. I then placed another one in May to go to Site B. Site B’s (580 kg) was down for delivery yesterday. I then got a call from the driver saying he was at site A, so I said no, you should be at site B where 2 guys are waiting to take the stuff in (to a 2nd floor!) and fit. He said he couldn’t divert the delivery, but to ring WFW and re-arrange delivery as his instructions were for site A.

I rang WFW. The lady I spoke to said she’d ring the transport co and get back to me. She rang me back quite promptly, in fairness, and said they’d made a mistake, but would deliver first thing today.

I then asked to be compensated for having to pay 2 guys yesterday (and hopefully for today - as I didn’t know if they’d be available). She said there’d be none as delivery dates are not guaranteed.

As irritating as that stance was, it would have only made me think 2ce about ordering from them again, and not made me devote the time to point out the disgusting conversation that then followed.

She then proceeded to point out that I was to blame for having hired people when the delivery wasn’t “guaranteed”. When I asked her what else I was to do with such a heavy kerbside delivery (I’m female as she was aware), she said she would have got the flooring inside herself (she had no idea what floor it was going to, my age or my physical ability, but felt it was alright to ‘lecture’ me).

Then the icing on the cake was when she said in a smarmy voice “well you can tell them to go, pay them half a day and they can go and work half a day somewhere else” - it was around 12.36pm. I was so shocked she was offering such ignorant advice that I had to ask her 2ce if she really believed what she was saying. Twice, she replied “Yes”.

As a decent person, when I engage someone for a day, I pay them for a day if they’ve turned up on the back of an agreement for a day’s work. Secondly, they would have blocked out their diary for me that day, so where would they get such ‘last minute’ work? Third, as a tradesperson you do not do that to other tradesmen.

This lady represented WFW, and exhibited characteristics that I do not respect. There was no need for her to foist her ignorant opinions on me. Clearly she had little customer service training, but any decent newbie with no training could have handled things better!

As it turns out, the driver also had some paperwork with site B’s details on, so he rang me again, and said he was happy to deliver yesterday, and did.

This review is not about me smarting over a bungled delivery (as I got my goods on the day scheduled), but about the foul customer service I received. If good customer service is important to you - look out!

Would leave no stars if possible.
Terrible customer service and after sales.
Charged me 20% for returning flooring that had only been out of their warehouse for 3 hours!

Everything was great until we had a problem then they refused to take responsibility. A bit of wood began to peel away from one of our boards - right in the middle of a board that was in the middle of the floor. Only 5 months after floor was put down. Our fitter (who also works for wood floor warehouse) told us it hadn’t been sealed properly like the other bits on the boards. We contacted them and they refused to accept it was a problem with the wood - said it was caused by a change in moisture or temperature. Totally incorrect. Our fitter has sorted it for us now but very poor customer service and I won’t shop here again.
Updated following reply from Woodfloor Warehouse - we requested our fitter to fix the problem not Woodfloor Warehouse - if they had offered to sort this negative review would not have been left.

Wonderful company. Supplied the most incredible laminate called Gildas which is white washed planks with grain showing through. Absolutely beautiful. Customer service exceptional. I have 5 boxes over. No hassle to return for a refund. Deliver 3 to 5 days is amazing. Very good experience. I had a massive leak and all flooring had to be replaced. Glad I used this company. The best.

Overall I have a very nice experience with them. The delivery was very efficient and the customer service quite responsive.
The only down side was the collection service, I had to order an extra box of laminate to finish off my living room, and I was told it would be ready on Monday at 12.00.
The laminate wasn't ready and we had to waste an entire day because of it, I still had to pay the builders and had to propone the works, so I wasn't please with that.

Used this company for all our bussines flooring, nothing is to much trouble for them, polite honest service, there floors are high quality even if only a low budget.

Excellent service - ready to collect within 8hrs of ordering.
Laminate floor was on offer, so price was extremely competitive. Staff friendly, and assisted with loading into car boot.
Only slight downside - I ordered one box too little, and when I re-ordered it had reverted to full price. Annoying, but my fault entirely.

I did my whole apartment in LVT Venice Grey oak. About 62m2. While WFW were the cheapest in Europe and customer service was excellent in regards to any queries. The LVT flooring its self is terrible. It's so easily scratched or marked it's insane.

I can already see myself needing to change the whole apartment again in about 1-2 years if it keeps scratching the way it does.

Note: We are a home where cleanness is high we dont wear shoes in the house or drag around furniture.

I wouldn't recommend it if you're looking for long term usage as I was baited in with the 15year Warranty.

Feedback for Company is to increase the 'top layer' from 0.3 to at least 0.5/.7.

Absolutely the best company to work with! Some laminate planks were damaged in transit; they made this right immediately - faster than anyone would expect. Being a DIY’er… I had many questions (especially with my planned electric underfloor heating)… they answered every one of them and were incredibly helpful! I’ll work with Darren, Charlotte (?) and the team every time going forward.

This is exactly why you buy from a specialist and expert company.

I’m not in the least DIY minded but the staff at Wood Floor Warehouse were very patient and understood exactly what I was looking for. I can’t thank everyone enough for their knowledge and expertise for what turned out to be a beautiful living room and entrance hall floors.

I used click & collect I collected it from the bangor store the service was great they had my order ready for me arriving.

Ordered wood flooring in August this year having checked in store and online that the flooring was in stock. Once I had placed the order I was informed that the flooring was actually not in stock and that I would have to wait 2 months for delivery. 2 months passed and when I asked for an update I was informed I would have to wait another 2 months so basically Jan 2022. No communication unless you chase them.

Can’t comment on the quality of the flooring as I haven’t received my order yet. If you want to order make sure you allow 4 months for delivery and don’t expect them to get in touch with you if there are further delays. Had a room which has had no flooring for 4 months.
