We informed the cold caller we were not in a position to commit this year. He said the quote would be guaranteed for a year. So we agreed to a quote. The salesman who came out gave us a price if we signed today, a price if we signed tomorrow then the email had another different price on. Why the 3 prices?

A very positive experience. The salesman explained the efficiency of the windows and suggested possible changes in design. We didn’t feel pressured into making a purchase at all. The surveyor was meticulous measuring up double checking our choices of handles and openings and advising what we would need to do with blinds curtains etc.

We agreed to let someone from sales come and give us a price as we were told the price was valid for 12 months. The salesman said £18K for a 12 month price or £10.5K if we paid a deposit now. Wow! It was a good price to pay now at the lower price. Afterwards I felt I had no time to choose the right windows for us. There was hardly any samples and agreed on some that I thought weren’t right for us.
We were definitely misled initially with the 12 month price. It was a pressurised sale. You have 7 days to get your deposit back or it starts to cost you. When I asked on the Monday for my deposit I was told we do banking on Friday and then we’ll refund you. Ahhh.. so you have my money for even longer?
I wouldn’t go with these guys now.

The sales negotiator was very knowledgable and answered any questions I had. I didn't feel rushed and he spoke in an easy to understand manner. He was not pushy at all, not like some salespeople and he was genuine.

Windows and door are beautiful and made to a high standard. The two insulators were fantastic,not only at fitting the windows, but also working alongs side other workmen, working with in the home. From beginning to the end the service was excellent

The 2 x fitters were spot on worked all day and would not stop for a drink great lads .
The only prob;ems was one window was incorrect so it was reported to the manager Adam who said it would be sorted asap so we have to wait a week for the frame to be done and we should get it done next Wednesday ,and for that reason i have given them 4 stars .

The communication channels were good, I was kept up to date with any delays etc. My windows were fitted by a pleasant, friendly team who fitted them to a very high standard, leaving the area clean and tidy.

A thoroughly professional but also very likeable team who have just installed new windows. An excellent job and a pleasure to have the workforce in our home. Everything was left clean and tidy and we are delighted with the quality of our windows. Would thoroughly recommend them.

My first time using this company for x2 new bay windows and french doors. The service from enquiry to completion was 5 stars. The fitting team were great, kept my home clean and tidy and were so quick and efficient. Love my new windows and French doors. Just wanted to say deb the Installation Co-Ordinator was fabulous, checked I was happy with them and was always on hand.
Would definitely recommend and would use going forward. Happy customer 5/5

Timeline of Issues:

May 11, 2024:
• Agreement finalised for the supply and installation of 2 doors and 4 windows. A deposit was paid.

June 27, 2024:
• The remaining balance was paid.

July 2, 2024:
• Fitters arrived for the window installation. They discovered an incorrect measurement for the large lounge window, rendering it too small. Three windows and two doors were installed.

July 12, 2024:
• The team was scheduled to install the replacement window but was delayed due to unforeseen circumstances on their side. The installation was rescheduled for the next morning.

July 13, 2024:
• The team arrived and discovered that the bottom glass was approximately 40 mm too large for the frame. They attempted to use glass from the previous wrongly sized window, but it was 30 mm too small. Plastic trim was used to cover the gaps, leaving the property insecure and cold.

July 15, 2024:
• The glass was reordered, and a call was expected by Wednesday to confirm its arrival.

July 31, 2024:
• Glass of the correct size was installed in the two windows.

August 22, 2024:
• Hinges on front door required adjusting as it was catching the ground and preventing it from being opened fully.

September 27, 2024:
• Water was noticed entering the hallway via the front door. This issue persisted and required immediate attention to prevent further damage.

October 18, 2024:
• Fitters arrived to rectify the door issue.

November 19, 2024:
• Following a fix with the door, continued issues with the door were reported, and an appointment was scheduled for November 21 to view the issue.

November 21, 2024:
• During an inspection of the leaking door, the area manager inadvertently damaged the vent in the living room window. I reported this issue immediately after the inspection. Upon noticing the damage, I observed that the vent was flapping and allowing an icy wind into the living room. I was assured that this matter would be addressed urgently.

January 16, 2025:
• The fitters arrived to install the correct door threshold, which required the removal and replacement of the entire frame. Although they were not initially informed about the vents, they fortunately had spare parts and replaced them for me. It was noted that the living room vents had not been securely attached to the frames, an issue that was reported in November 2024. Additionally, I observed corrosion on the front door handle, door knocker, and letterbox. The fitters also noticed this, and we both emailed the office to report it. The company responded, stating, "This is not a normal occurrence, and out of all the windows and doors that the company has fitted, it is a very low percentage that we have had to change, especially all at once."

• After consulting with a builder, I was informed that corrosion is extremely common on properties located on front streets and those near the sea. To prevent recurring issues, it was recommended to request replacements made of galvanized steel, aluminium, or stainless steel, and to ensure that the guarantee for these parts starts from the date of their installation. Although the guarantee was agreed upon, the replacement parts provided are made of the same materials as the corroded ones, indicating that this issue will likely persist.

January 29, 2025:
• The fitter arrived to replace the letterbox, door knocker, and handle with identical items. While I cannot fault the fitters for their helpfulness and efficiency, the repeated issues with the door and windows, coupled with the poor handling of the situation, have left me deeply dissatisfied. The entire process has been stressful, exhausting, and disheartening.

2years on and my windows still leak
Despite multiple conversations this company refuse to accept responsibility for my leaking bay windows
Windows that had never leaked - just required upgrading glazing for efficiency now let in more water than the old wooden windows let in draughts….

Had windows throughout house and a door fitted early in January. Would recommend Windows Plus without problem.
Job was quick clean and efficient.

Had new conservatory roof and new windows and doors (for the conservatory)installed August 2024.
The difference this winter has been amazing...I am so impressed...conservatory in full use mid winter no electric heaters even had the top windows open when the heating on.
Even still had snow on the roof when all house Roofs clear.

Salesman Benwas very polite and respectful explaining products and demonstrating products. Keen eye to please and ensure that customer happy with chosen product Follow up visit from the surveyor who made a few tweaks and then phone call from the office to let us know the fitting date so far so good

Windows plus have been perfect from start to finish, from our initial consultation right through to fitting and making sure we were happy with a follow up phone call from Jane, who has been a delight to speak to throughout this whole process. She has kept me so well informed, is really lovely and polite and clearly cares about the customers experience. Our fitters Dave and Dale were the definition of professional but also so easy to talk to. They made sure to show us how to use the new doors and windows which sounds simple but is an important touch. Great team and great final product.
