Making the claim came with its own challenges, the administrator asked for information already provided, which held up the process as it ended up with the enquiries team. Then the payment I received was less that what I claimed for, even though it was under the limit for the treatment, within my allowance, and below what the customer services team said I could claim for. 8 days ago I chased the enquires team asking for an explanation of the lower payment, I am still waiting for a reply.

Westfield are great. Staff are excellent.

A very straightforward claim for optical expenses. With drop down menu to help select and easy to upload jpg photos of receipts. with responses from Westfield Health within 1 day. Great service well recommended

My claim included a copy of a form that my doctor had filled in for me. But the claim was rejected with an explaination that the form had not been sent. I then replyed that the form was included with my claim - but then have not heard back!

I recently went through the claims process with Westfield Health regarding a chiropractic claim that was initially declined due to a pre-existing condition exclusion.

The process took longer than I had expected, and there were periods where communication could have been been better. I had to follow up for updates and eventually raise a formal complaint before my case was fully reviewed.

However, once my complaint was investigated, I was impressed by the thoroughness of the review. Jonathan carefully considered all of the medical evidence, including additional information from my GP practice, acknowledged the delays in communication, and explained the decision-making process clearly.

Following the investigation, my complaint was upheld, the lower back exclusion was removed from my policy, and all of my chiropractic claims were reassessed. Every eligible invoice was subsequently processed in line with my policy. I also appreciated the transparency shown when explaining how my claim had been calculated.

It's worth mentioning that during my own review of the invoices, I discovered that I had mistakenly listed four treatment amounts incorrectly. Westfield took the time to explain the discrepancy, and after checking my invoices, I confirmed that their calculations were correct. I appreciate their patience throughout the process.

Although the journey wasn't straightforward, I believe the final outcome was fair. Thank you to Jonathan and the team for taking the time to investigate my complaint thoroughly, communicate the findings clearly, and resolve the matter professionally.
