Wentworth and Rowe Arvostelua 

I ordered a coat on October 3, 2026; it arrived on October 27 (24 days for a simple order during a non-holiday season seems excessive). The jacket I received is terribly poor quality and does not hold up compared to the picture of what I ordered. The material is very thin; I can literally see light coming through it. The buttons are cheap, unattractive, and not the same as in the picture. The cuffs are a different color than what is shown and are not sewn in such a way as to lay flat. This jacket seems like a cheap costume; there is absolutely no way this was ever worth $90, let alone the $300 that it claims it originally cost. After reading the reviews, I dread the return process, but I will endure out of principle & spite (& the need for the money).

Order took weeks to arrive and the item was a cheap polyester version of what I ordered. Lesson learned.

This is a FAKE company from China with garbage clothing.. SCAMMERS

Bought a “jacket” that took many weeks to arrive. It is thinner than a child’s halloween costume and has threads coming out everywhere. There is no lining, just fake velvet at cuff and collar and loose buttons. This is worse than Temu do not buy.

Was very excited about an item advertised online but it looked suspiciously like one i had seen advertised by multiple vendors on Amazon. The low sale price and the fact that i just returned from Charleston and didnt see the brand made me read reviews and check Trustpilot. Glad i did but bummed that the item and company is bogus.

This is not from Charleston but a China based company. The quality of the blazer I bought was subpar at best, very odd shape and when I wanted to return I got offered a 10% off the purchase or ability to buy other items. I just want to return and get a refund. Still in communication with them and now they accepted a return but I have to ship it to China. No return label and they are not providing an address in the US. I just want to return and get my money back and it will cost me ridiculous amount to mail and then wait for the refund......Be very cautious!

Hard pass on this brand. Not a real store in Charleston and will take weeks to receive your item, which is low quality, direct from factory in China.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SITE! BEWARE! Complete rip off- horrific quality- horrible return policy (they make you ship returns to China) while they advertise that they are Charleston S.C. company.
The set I purchased was straight crap polyester with the tags ripped out of the clothing where it was frayed! The quality is worse than the worst Amazon order you could imagine. Never again- and shame on them for false adverstising!

Complete scam. Clothing was nothing like the pictures and took weeks to come from china not Charleston. AI created company and marketing. Do not buy from them.

I ordered the Evangelist Jacket from Wentworth & Rowe, and what I received was absolutely terrible! The material was incredibly cheap and already falling apart. The buttons even had **“JEANS WEAR”** stamped on them!

It took over a month to receive my order, and I discovered that the jacket was actually shipped from China!

To make matters even more concerning, the company claims to be located in South Carolina, but I could not verify that there is a legitimate Wentworth & Rowe storefront at that location.

The product was nothing like the quality I expected based on the advertising. I feel completely misled and would never order from this company again.

I wish there were and options for zero stars. First, this company advertised that they were a small storefront business in Charleston that was moving to e-commerce. That was a lie. This was never a store in Charleston SC. Second, this is a company based in China so you have to wait more than 20 days to get your order. And third, the clothes are made with the cheapest material and are nothing like what you see in the online pictures. I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy.

This business is a scam and their online story about their shop in Charleston is not true.

Both of these shops - and I assume they have more - operate on Shopify.com. So Shopify.com is at least partially culpable in hosting these bad-faith stores.

You will get goods, but they will not look like what was on the website, and the goods will be very low-quality. My wife ordered a jacket, and when held up to a window we could see through it.

This company is deceptive and uses deceptive marketing tactics. They promote themselves as a mother/daughter American family who sells fine quality American craftsmanship. What I received was a barely stitched, thin fabric with buttons that were from a pair of jeans from China. Horribly made. I filed an official complaint with the Federal Trade Commission and Better Business Bureau. Their scam tactics are deceitful and quality is worse than TEMU.

Definitely a bait and switch. Shipment is coming from China based on shipment routing and paperwork. Posing as a N Carolina family shop.

My order took weeks to come in. Website said it was a Charleston brand. Turns out shipment was coming from china. When it finally got delivered it was 100 percent polyester and looked absolutely nothing like the picture. Shame on instagram was allowing advertisements for this brand. It’s definitely a scam

I ordered a maxi dress and shorts set. Neither showed up looking like the picture. The shorts set looked to be a nice linen material, and upon seeing it on arrival its a cheap polyester. The dress looked more silky on the website and is the same polyester material. The sizes are also not correct at all. I ordered based on my measurements and the garments showed up twice the size they should be. Its poor quality all around and in order to return items you pay for shipping to send the items back overseas. I'm eating the cost because I don't want the hassle, but it's disappointing since I was looking for cute vacation wear. I'd be better off finding something on Amazon.

This is a total scam. It is not in Charleston SC it is in China. I ordered a Jacket and it was more of a flannel shirt with poor stitching. They do not allow for returns like the website suggests. They offered a 10% money back. Totally frustrating.

I regret not having read the reviews of this company prior to ordering 2 dresses. Customer reviews are spot on!
I also found the advertising to be deceptive. They advertise that they are a Charleston SC company but they actually ship from China. Took a few weeks for items to arrive.
The photos of the products on the website are inaccurate. The photo of a caftan I ordered showed the model clearly wearing a long necklace as an accessory. Upon receipt of the item, the "necklace" is in the design of the dress. Very cheap looking as is the material itself. Dresses are not flattering at all.
The return process is also disappointing. They initially offered me a 10% discount to keep the items. When I pushed back, they offered me a 20% discount. The alternative was to return the items to Guangdong China at my own expense.
Save yourself the aggravation and do not purchase from this company.
