Easy to see if they take certain books
Easy to see if they take books. If they can’t take a book they tell you. You get a price as you scan each book. Once done, package is easy to send for delivery. Emailed a confirmation of the amount they will buy them for and the money is transferred easily to my account on completion.

The checking process is inadequate
The checking process is inadequate. I always carefully check that all items listed are sent to webuybooks. An item in a recent box was marked as 'not received' when I know full well that I included it in the box. After several emails, webuybooks honoured my item, which i much appreciate. However, this is not the first time that this has happened and so I feel that greater attention needs to be given to the checking process and systems in place. It makes me reluctant to use webuybooks in the future.

Thank you for your feedback. We're sorry to hear that you remain concerned about this experience.
We have thoroughly investigated the matter and can confirm that we did not receive the item that was marked as missing. We have double-checked both with the member of staff who processed your Offer and our inventory records, and we maintain that the item was not present in the package when it arrived at our warehouse.
We also found no indication of any damage to the parcel during transit that could have caused the item to have been lost on its way to us.
As you mentioned, despite not receiving the item, we honoured the payment for it as a gesture of goodwill. However, we would like to clarify that we will not be able to make payment for items that are missing from future trades.
We take our checking procedures very seriously and have robust processes in place to ensure all items received are accurately recorded and assessed.

The AP is rubbish when compared to the…
The AP is rubbish when compared to the competition, too many hiccups, glitches etc etc.
They tell you oh 17 isnt good enough to sell but 10+ hours have NOT paid for the ones they paid a poor price for.
Constant rating harassment emails from them, thats whats generated this rating.
Vast improvement required to get a better rating. Better off throwing them in the rubbish.

While the service is efficient quite a number of books are not on the database but not everything can be.
The collections have also improved by using the Post Office.

Hi Mary, Thank you for the feedback which is really useful. Is it possible to send us an e-mail to info@webuybooks.co.uk with the books that are not on the list? All books that have an ISBN code or barcode should be searchable. We also have a catalogue of books that don't have ISBN numbers, and any others you can send in an we can have a valuation done for you.
Consistent & Efficient
A nice Company to deal with and I have done so for a few years. A tad erratic in earlier years but have since settled down with some good solid performances in recent times.
Prices are not always the best and at other times they have surprised me.
What I do like is the option of having a rejected, costly item returned if you pay the postage. I did this recently and after postage turned in a small gain.
Additionally, they turn things around very quickly, once received.
WBB comes with my endorsement but be prepared to be disappointed with the price but equally elated at other times.
Ultimately, it is YOUR decision whether you trade an item.
