it seems this only ever happens with more expensive books but when i submit them they never seem to arrive. on a seperate issue every time i have reason to contact the company they never ever reply.

I was able to sell a number of books very easily and they were picked from my home on the day I chose. My only disappointment was in the number of books that were rejected

Not the best experience
Sent a whole lot of books in one parcel, worth just over £30. Once they arrived it took ages to process the order. Eventually I had notification that they were processed and payment was being made - just under £9! On checking the notification, it noted more than half the books hadn't arrived, yet they were all in one parcel.
I had to raise an enquiry and wait for them to double check my consignment before they finally agreed to send the remainder of my payment.
Not very impressed as I also had problems trying to get the parcel collected in the first place.

Good as new
Purchased a talking book off this company via Amazon. I love talking books but, in my experience, they tend to be few and far between, which is a great shame. Moreover, when I do buy them on-line, they tend to arrive in pretty grim condition, with a broken case or scratched discs or both. Not in the case of WeBuyBooks, however. The talking book arrived promptly, and both the casing and the discs were in excellent condition. Very pleasing. Rival companies should take note.

Easy to use.
What I liked about this site, was how easy it was. Scanned, Had a price straight away no waiting. Just boxed up, scanned the QR code at the drop off. Payment was very prompt. Will definitely use again. Thank you.

Problems scanning with the app
On the plus side, I really appreciate the fact that parcels can now be sent using Royal Mail rather than Evri (which was VERY unreliable) and payment is vry quick -- but I have not been impressed with the app. Sure, it makes it "easier" to scan rather than type in the ISBN, but not when I have to keep checking and correcting the data. I have sent six boxes of books and in each one there were at least two that gave the wrong title for the ISBN. When I realized, I tried a second scan (same) then had to check the basket and figure out which book was misidentified. A paperback "Little Women" went through as "Frankenstein" as one example. If it left the wrongly id-ed books in, the payment was reduced, with nothing for the actual books I'd sent.. a lot more trouble than doing the listings on my laptop!
