Unfortunately, our team at Elmwood Park did not follow the correct process and we have addressed this. We apologize without reservation that you did not get our legendary five-star customer service experience, which makes us the most highly rated dealer for customer satisfaction in the country.
You stopped by with a competitor's quote a few hundred dollars higher than our valuation of the car. Our team should have appraised the Alfa and reached out to our pricing team to review the appraisal notes and find a way to get you a better price than you were offered elsewhere. The price given on your website is different from the one your branch manager gave. He said less money. He called me on the phone before I even went to the branch. He said we are giving this price. I did not like this situation because of the price differences.

I see the online valuation provided and our final offer varied by just a few hundred dollars. Our Branch Manager inspected the vehicle and did find some damage to the wheels that we were previously unaware of prior to the start of the appointment. We had to take this into consideration when making our firm offer.
Our Area Manager has listened to the pre-appointment confirmation call and reviewed the detailed notes, photos, and videos of the inspection. Good, speedy service. I wish that my agent had talked me through more of the inspection part and had a slightly higher offer, closer to phone quote. But overall a good experience and I appreciated price negotiation. The free Uber was hugely helpful!
