Why do I need to make the editor view Desktop, Tablet, Mobile Vertical AND Mobile Horizontal just to display: none on a section of the site? If I do it on web wouldnt you think I would want to hide it on mobile too? 100 extra steps just to do one thing.

Très complexe et pas du tout user-friendly, aide en ligne très mal faite, chat par AI sans aucune illustration. E-commerce pauvre. Très peu d'intégrations ou plug-ins avec des outils standards de type e-mailing, CRM etc, il faut passer par Zapier ou Make et c'est souvent très complexe. Fait pour des développeurs expérimentés qui cherchent le beau design mais pas les fonctionnalités. Pour un site simple, regardez plutôt Squarespace et autres Wix. Rubriques d'aide incompréhensibles, mal écrites, ils se parlent à eux-mêmes avec un total mépris du client. Erreurs 500 régulières.

WebFlow sucks. They nickel and dime you for everything. If I knew what I know now I would never have used WebFlow. Horrible experience.
• Hosting is overpriced compared to the performance you actually get.
• CMS item limits are absurd unless you upgrade… again.
• Form submissions? Pay.
• Extra sites? Pay.
• Basic integrations? Pay.
• Collaboration features? Yep—pay.
And their whole model hinges on locking you in once you’ve already sunk dozens of hours into building your layout in their proprietary system. Classic “nickel-and-dime SaaS” pattern.

The worst customer service I have dealt with this year. I would consider them worthless. If you have the time or web design knowledge, you might be ok, but you are on your own.
The instructions they post on their help page are mostly incorrect as well.

I’ll be honest as I can.
I’m a marketer with more than 15 yrs of experience. I also work with design and front end development.
Webflow is not for you if you’re a beginner. Period.
If you want to be successful with it and feel good - learn basics (html, css and some js). Otherwise, you will come here and post 1-2 stars with some bad feedback.
If you’re a beginner, feel free to start with something else like wix, wp or some AI builders.
For advanced users, webflow, is one of the best tools in the market that has integrations with almost everything you want, including best tools like Clay, HubSpot etc.
Customizability is highest, you can do almost anything if you know how. (Webhooks, API etc.)
UI/UX are also clear if you’re experienced user.
Some shortcomings for me are: too expensive, 50/50 support and please for god sake fix that Default locale/language issue so we can switch between any other language in the list, instead of manually switching copy in locales for days. Paying this much I expect at least the localization module to work properly.

Apperently uploading a simple image doesn't work at Webflow. 16/21 uploaded succesfully. The other 5 (< 4 MB) no idea why? The support will respond to my ticket in a few days..
I also understand now why they are hiding Trustpilot Reviews from keyword "Webflow Reviews" in Google Search

What a disgusting piece of software.
Paid $200 only to find they offer a website Visits tab for another $100 a year.
All this when basic Wordpress or Wix have this feature available on a goddamd free plan.
The editor is super counterintuitive, either.

I have used their platform for 5+ years. What started out as a great service, and entry into web development, has essentially cascaded into a pile of shite.
I could go on, but essentially there are three recurring pain points; 1) Their hosting has become some poor and slow, with the number of outages seemingly creeping up; 2) Their pricing has become so convoluted, that you no longer know what you are/are not paying for; and, 3) Their add-on services are half-baked at best - ecommerce and localisation are appalling.
Overall, it's a shame of what has become of Webflow, and although I will probably stay because I am too old/lazy to switch, I recommend that others do so before committing. In this day and age of AI, there are simply better alternatives out there.

I wanted to subscribe to webflow for one of my staff members to design. I started with CMS version, then found out it's only good for publishing. So I then added Core for another subscription (now at $47USD per month and then it wanted me to be another $45USD per month after those 2 did not alklow another designer as I am not one. This is like a mafia driven platform to extract more money. So I put in for refunds. Worst experience ever.

Webflows localization feature is the biggest pile of crap Ive ever dealt with overhyped unreliable and a total waste of time. Setting it up is a nightmare with clunky editing locked to the Designer making team updates impossible. But the real kicker? Localized text shows perfectly in the builder preview lulling you into thinking everythings fine. Then you publish and poof half the translations vanish into thin air! URLs break SEO tanks and your site looks like a half finished mess.
That preview is straight up trash its so misleading it tricks users into believing their work is ready only to sabotage everything on launch. Ive lost hours fixing invisible bugs and support? Useless with days long delays and zero fixes. At premium prices this feature is a scam that cost me clients. Avoid this steaming heap at all costs Im beyond unsatisfied and furious! Zero stars.

Webflow system damaged a backup recovery, I can't access my website nor edit, in a critical moment for us. After more than 24h only support is through tickets and I've received no response nor has it been fixed.

that 30,- standard hosting u need topay 2% free for everything u sell, otherwise 0% fee costs u 75,- month
so to pay webflow for a website to sell things costs u 2% of ur sales!(if u pay100/month) or pay +-150/month for 0%)
you need to pay for everything that is not a thing u need to pay for else where, it is expensive, there is no quick support (other hosting have live chat this is 1 week later email kind of thing, if i need anything i need support right away especially if u ask to pay 100+ per month for some little website)
oh and this is for 1! website u have 2 sites? i think its 200/month, 3? 300 per month. so yeah not for anyone just starting or anyone who wants to be profitable.. ouch

When webflow works it is fantastic. However it works only half the time.
I cannot believe how unreliable this platform. Half the time it just doesn't save or load.
I am happy paying their prices however most platforms boast a 99.99% up time. I would say Webflow is 50-55% in reality.

I'm not sure who made the business decisions in recent years, but it's become remarkably expensive for a platform that is unstable.
Want to add a new user to your workspace? Just upgrade it to the Freelancer workspace ($192 per annum) AND $468 per annum for the extra seat.
Want to add a user to a website project, to ensure business contingency for a client? Just add an admin seat for $45 per month.
Cool, so as an agency, with a team of 2, I need to pay $700 per annum, to sell the Webflow product?
If something should befall me, and I am unable to transfer projects to a client, they will need to go through some magical and unknown process to get their website from my account to their name. If my client is also concerned about business contingency, they need to cough up $49 per month (on top of their $29 - $49 per month billing package) to ensure that things don't go wrong.
It adds up to quite a lot of money, to build a business around it.
The platform has also recently had quite a few down time errors, making it impossible to work on client sites. This week, there are rolling blackouts on client sites, which affect ads, SEO and client experiences.
If you're looking to become an agency who builds Webflow sites, consider the product VERY CAREFULLY and the costs involved in selling it to clients.
If you're a business owner, you will need to know HTML, CSS and purchase third party applications (like Zapier) to integrate with other systems.
