Wasabi Knives Arvostelua

Took advantage of the sales price and got the two Shikoku Brothers knives. They are without question the best knives I have owned. They have replaced my cutco knives and I have every intention to get more knives from Wasabi Knives. They are well worth the price even if they are not on sale. Would recommend to anyone who enjoys spending time in the kitchen

rapid delivery, really a beauty, well balanced and very sharp

I really like the sharpening capability of the Wasabi.

This little paring knife has a different kind of handle that is rounded at it's girth. It makes it suprisingly comfortable and ergonomic, all of which makes it easy to control. The beautiful steel keeps a nice sharp edge to make slicing smooth and effortless.

bolts and wingnuts stripped out after first use. sharpening one knife takes means adjusting bolts and screws that do not hold their position. very frustrating process for the sharpening system that is already complicated to set up. very unhappy with this purchase and I have been a professional chef for 20+ years. After contacting customer service they sent me the same faulty parts and are now ignoring my issues with their product.

I really like the sharpener! It works quite well! I'm not exactly sure if I have the angle quite right, but it seems to be working with where I've positioned the arm. I would like to know what app is preferred by most in order to get the best sharpening angle. The device is very easy to use and seems to be of pretty good quality. I should probably upgrade to the diamond stones but will wait until I am more proficient at using the device. The only issue I have noticed thus far is that I have to keep tightening the screw on the plastic handle. But it doesn't prevent the use of the product or its ability to sharpen the knife. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase!

I love it and my knives love it. I wish the instructions were more specific about what grit to use.

Smooth service as usual. Quality product as usual

The product works very well and was easy to setup and use. The instructions were basically useless. I had to watch random YouTube videos to learn how to actually use it; and those contradict each other. You should make official videos explaining more of what stones to use, etc.

Once you figure out how to setup the system, it's very easy to use. The one thing that would be helpful is having marks on the pivot point rod that indicate the degree angle for faster and more repeatable setup.

Using your phone and an app isn't a very precise way to correctly set the stone angle. For instance, it matters where you hold the phone on the system. This is not defined in the setup instructions. The application isn't identified either. You need to define the best application for Android and Apple. Then, you need to detail how and where to place the phone to get the proper angle setup.

Being the angle zero is a floating reference to earth, it would work better to use set points on the pivot rod. As, this would be referenced to the tool clamp angle give that the pivot rod is screwed all the way in.

Simply the best sharpening system I have ever used. Glad to finally find it on sale.

It gets the job done I had other knife sharpening kits .But this one is easy to use and you get a consistant edge everytime

Great experience and great product! The knife sharpener works exactly as described and the knife that came along with it is sharp and looks great! The only thing I would mention is maybe giving a heads up that the knives ship separately from the sharpener.

Expedited shipping, great products, sharpened every single knife in my household, amazing results. Opt for the diamond stones and they worked perfectly.
Highly recommend.

The knife sharping equipment is great. Very well made, all metal parts no plastic. I sharpened two knifes right out of the box and they turned out great. I followed the instructions and it was easy. This is far better than the other devices I have purchased in the past. The two reasons I purchased this item 1.) not happy with the edge I was getting from the device I had. 2.) I tightened up a retaining screw on my old device and the plastic on the stone broke. The only suggestion I have has to do with the shipping method that was used. Took way too long to get delivery.

I received my sharpener a week or so ago. It took a minute to assemble it, but I have to say it was great. It's the best sharpener I've ever owned. Various stones make it really simple to pick the correct one your knife needs. You can put a razor-sharp edge on your knife with hardly any effort.

The overall set up is great for larger knives. I have a Lansky sharpener that is very similar for smaller knives. I just don't like the stones that come with the kit. They are too soft and cake up on the blade. I wish they would have come with harder sharping stones.

Whetstones are wearing pretty quickly. Looks like I’ll spend a lot replacing them.

It was a little difficult to use, it did not include an allen wrench to tighten the Blade Holder and attachements.

Save yourself the frustration, DO NOT deal with Wasabi-knives. They ginually Suck!
