After some awkward moments, this company were utterly fantastic and did the right by service.

Brilliant.

I ordered an A•LIGN trimmer and a Micro Power shaver directly from Wahl Canada, and the overall experience has been awful.

The A•LIGN trimmer actually cuts well, but the blade assembly is visibly out of square. It has not affected the cut so far, but that kind of quality-control issue should not be showing up on a new product from a company with Wahl’s reputation. The guards also feel thin and cheaply made, which does not inspire much confidence in how they will hold up over time.

The Micro Power shaver also performs well, but the charging information is unnecessarily vague. The product page listed an approximate charging time, yet the instructions did not clearly explain what the charging light does when the unit is fully charged. I contacted support for clarification and, after waiting several days, received an answer that still did not properly answer the question.

Customer service has been the worst part by far. Replies have been slow throughout, and it has now been 8 days since I sent my last two emails about two separate issues, with no response to either one. That is completely unacceptable for a company selling directly to consumers.

The delivery experience was poor as well. The courier left a notice without knocking, which meant I had to go pick up the package myself.

What makes this so frustrating is that the products are not complete garbage. The trimmer cuts well and the shaver works well. But Wahl has managed to undermine both products with poor quality control, inadequate instructions, painfully slow support, vague answers, and then no response at all when further help is needed.

I expected much better from Wahl. Based on this experience, I would not order directly from Wahl Canada again.

I just want to give some information on the Wahl pro shine curling tongs for anyone with highlighted hair! After having used this product 3 times I was initially pleased with it but on the 4th use while styling my hair I had yellow brassy tones. Surely I thought it can’t be anything to do with the tongs but I hadn’t used any other products on my hair. I looked on the internet and it said that if the heat is too high this can happen. They recommend a heat of between 140/150 and I had the heat on 170. I had read the instructions thoroughly but reread them to see about heat settings in case I had missed something but there wasn’t any!! I did contact Wahl about this lack of information in the instructions and they did say they would bring this up with the manufacturer but they weren’t sure that these tongs had caused my problem but I’ve used numerous tongs before and have never had this problem. As I say, just wanted to warn anyone with highlighted hair to be careful if they purchase these tongs. I now have to see my hairdresser to rectify them.

I have a hair and beard trimmer and it's the best, I got tired of the commercial brands that don't deliver a good product so I decided to go for something more professional, Wahl was the solution.

they're quick to respond here! whilst others can see. but try emailing them. they ignore you.

I ordered a product a week ago. The product still hasn't been shipped to me! The service is terrible, I have never encountered such disrespect towards customers. I wrote to them several times, and they only responded after I called. Instead of apologizing for not being able to send the product on time (because they, apparently, have inventory checks on business days 🤦), the "support" started arguing with me, telling me what's written on their FB page 🤡, when they should have just said "sorry". I don't know who put such a person in a customer service role; if it were up to me, that person would no longer be employed. ps and yes, on their website they claim delivery within 24-48 hours. Liars – I do not recommend ordering anything from them.
