Avoid wahi vanish terrible foils break every shave after spending over £100 on replacment foils given up as all foils are of such low quality thought I was buying quality from trusted brand where brought rubish that's the worst quality I've ever experienced and involved trading standards due to this company scaming people out of money on product that's not fit for purpose

I contacted Wahl customer support regarding a faulty beard trimmer, and I couldn't be happier with the service I received from Rebecca.

From start to finish, Rebecca was courteous, professional, and genuinely helpful. She listened to my concerns, dealt with everything efficiently, and arranged a replacement without any hassle. She kept me informed throughout the process and made what could have been a frustrating experience completely stress-free.

Excellent customer service is becoming increasingly rare, and Rebecca's professionalism, kindness, and dedication truly deserve to be recognised. She is a real credit to the company.

Excellent support when enquiring about a spare part.

Bought a Wahl set of hair clippers and beard trimmer in a carry case with attachments, from moment of delivery the beard trimmer did not work, wasn't really phased by this as I don't have a beard. One year on and the clippers hardly last 3 uses, the noise and vibration from them is terrible, the model number is 964, black back and blue and white front. My advise is to stay clear. Ridiculously poor quality from a company that makes professional hair products. I will NEVER buy from this make again. One star Purley because I can't give them zero.

I bought a Wahl rechargeable hair clipper from Tesco in Feb 2025. Charges via USB-A but battery would not receive or hold any charge after 16 months' light use.

Wahl (UK) very kindly replaced my Li-Ion (battery) Colour clippers with a similar NiMH (battery) Colour model for free. My suggestion would be to regularly charge up and partially discharge such batteries, to help keep them in good condition.

Wahl (UK) offers a recycling service if you mail them failed appliances. Alternatively, local councils often have small appliance recycling bins at strategic locations.

Absolutely wonderful.I called customer service @Tracy for advice for my clipper replacement blades within minutes all was sorted and I placed an order immediately.It was dispatched same day and arrived the next day.It was the perfect fit.Thank you Wahl UK

Well this is a refreshing company!

Broke the clipper head on a Wahl beard trimmer, expecting it to be like all the other brands I've used previously; throw away so bad for the environment and the expense of buying a whole new trimmer. What a pleasant surprise to find Wahl does spares for all of their shavers. Not only that, super friendly and fast customer service response. Quick, easy and far cheaper to order a new part, much better for the environment. Well done Wahl, one happy customer.

Ordered new blade for my clippers .easy to find on Web sight and new one delivered next day. Brilliant company and service.

Had a bit of a nightmare with seized screws on a new trimmer, but Wahl's customer service was top tier. Rachel in support went out of her way to make sure my replacement was checked over before being sent. The new one is perfect. Great to see a brand that actually looks after its customers.

Enquired about a lost part on a shaver.
They opened up a ticket and said it was not a part they keep and would pass it on to the technical department.
I did not hear anything off this department and then had an email from customer services saying that its been 7 days since I contacted them and they would close the ticket.i replied again saying I have not had any correspondence with technical as yet.
This has now been over 2 weeks and I have now replaced the shaver with another brand.
Total lack of support

I’ve bought a few Wahl products over the years & always found them a good value, dependable brand.
My most recent purchase unfortunately stopped working after a couple of years so I emailed customer services to enquire about the 5yr warranty.
Rachel was extremely helpful & after taking some details & looking into things, she had a replacement dispatched to me.

My not very expensive Wahl beard trimmer from Argos had a couple of issues. I was outside of the retailer's responsibility to contacted Wahl directly. The website is clunky and it's not plain to see how you might get to a 'return' or 'repair' link. Eventually, I got there and I am pleased to say the 3 year Guarantee was honoured in full. Customer Service (Rachel) asked me some straight forward questions and sent me a new one, asking me only to recycle the faulty one responsibly (with advice on how to do so). It's not 5* because of the clunky, confusing website. The resulting Custimer Service however was stellar. Thank you!

i julegave og sikke en skuffelse. Utrolig ringe barbermaskine river mere end en sløv engangs skraber. og tager 2 til 3 gange så lang tid at babere sig med den iforhold til at bruge en skraber. Eneste gode ting ved den er batteriet holder længe. Men vil på ingen måde anbefale nogen at købe den.

Update - their customer service has given more support thankfully - they will inspect and sharpen if required free of charge. 3 star now for the support, just sadly the product is inferior.

Original - Poor product and service…. I spent near £100 on dog clippers (max 60 pet clipper) and after the first groom on my small cockapoo (amazing - they worked so well vs a cheaper pair I had), I went back to clip again and they wouldn’t cut through the fur - both times dog was clean and ready for a groom and the clippers were oiled and ready to go. I’m told the blade can get blunt after 1 cut and the only option is to pay for their resharpening service which I would have to do after every groom if that is the actual issue. I’m disappointed in the service, not really what I’d expect from a big brand, I’d expect more help and solutions, especially given I’ve used these for 1 cut. Not fit for purpose (product and sadly the after sale support).

Had an issue with my body groomer, the mechanism that raises the combe height stopped working.

Wahl were excellent, explained the issues, provided my receipt and as it was in the 5 year warranty they just send out a new one.

Old one is in recycling bin.

Customer service were fantastic had to contact them as hair clipper failed to work after a few days. After explaining to the agent who was very helpful I had a replacement within few days, no quibble, just sorted... Others take note!!

Found two 'in date' discount codes for some dog clippers (one via Google (not always reliable) and one the Walh website 'robot' customer service offering a current discount of 25%) Neither codes worked (I understand some dont always especially already discounted products) I telephoned Jo, Customer Services Manager who said there was nothing she could do (despite the offer being on their website and 'current'!!. When I said I had screen shots of the offers, she replied 'I don't want to argue with you, these codes are obviously old and can't be used'. I am a new customer (or was hoping to be) and before I've even ordered anything I found Customer Services poor. Very disappointed!

Customer Services really helpful in handling and resolving promptly my issue with a faulty charger, no complaints one bit with them, well done!
