I do not even know how you remain able to sell cars. You are dangerous and you do not even care. You sold me a car that has been poisoning my family with exhaust fumes for 6 months and your response is, you brought extended warranty so use it. I am absolutely shocked that you get away with this. I've now seen several reviews very similar to my experience and I just wish I had read them first. If the warranty pays for my car it's going to be thousands, if it doesn't then the car is going to end up being unusable and leave me with thousands of pounds of finance left to pay. I hope you sleep at night, your just lucky that you don't have a more serious case on your hands because if those fumes had done amy damage to my children I don't know what I would do.
Please read this review people and listen to it, they will be fantastic while selling the car but if you have any issues they are nowhere to be found.
I honestly do not think they even check the part exchanged cars that they take in and just pretend they have had a full service. They are cowboys and if you have family that you are putting in your car, please go somewhere else.

Great bunch, professional, made sure everything was up to scratch before letting me pick up the vehicle and even banged a 6 month warranty on it! Ace group will be back when I look for a work car

What a perfect service. I cannot fault this dealer, they were professional and made me feel like a valued customer. From first contact to collecting the vehicle I was made confident in their service. I went to pick the car up and it was in clean condition and as expected. The paperwork process was easy and I was in the car and away very quickly. And the coffee was good lol. I have to recommend these guys.

These guys were great. Recently bought a Mini Countryman from them. Got it MOT’d and valeted before I came to collect it.
Unfortunately, the battery on the car was showing a warning, so when I informed them, they brought it straight back in, got it sorted and even gave me a courtesy car for the couple of days I was without my Mini. Steve who sorted out the sale was great and Matt who sorted out the aftercare was also amazing. This is exactly how you expect things to go; quick and easy. Very happy with Vortex and would strongly recommend them to anyone

Recently bought a SUV with Vortex Cars, such a lovely experience! I live quite far from the garage so they held it for me so I could come and test drive it, without a deposit. Before I bought the car they did a full inspection & service for me, fixing anything that had any wear. Also gave me 6 months warranty. Cannot fault them!

Recently bought a BMW 3 Series from Vortex, and the whole process was incredibly simple. John helped me the entire way through and I have been very happy with my purchase. The car runs like a dream and the household now has a very happy dad and an even happier little boy. Would recommend to anybody.

We purchased a Renault Captur with help from John at Vortex week before last. Seamless transaction, lovely motor, in pristine condition, no push from the staff, all questions answered, and a very fair trade in price also. All options to finance discussed, settling on exactly the method I wanted. The vehicle was valeted as promised, fully MOT'd, taxed, the lot. I am a returning customer, and would recommend a visit to Vortex next time you are in the market for a change of vehicle. Thanks a lot guys.

Recently been looking for a car and came across vortex on auto trader and I’d seen a Renault capture went down to see it and and man called John helped me out with it looking in and round the car I was eager to give it a test drive and as I was happy with the car and johns help i bought the car

I was so impressed with the laid back approach into buying a car, it was a refreshing change rather than being pushed it was simply upto yourself. Very friendly, I would recommend anyone to try the experience yourself. ( excellent 👌)

I’ve just purchased an Audi from Matt at Vortex. You could browse and take it for a test drive with no pressure to buy.
Really helpful, I would definitely recommend and purchase from Vortex again.

I had a great experience from start to finish, my dealer steve was fantastic 👌, even had a coffee ready for me after my long drive to pick up my new car, he made everything so simple! I highly recommend this dealership.

We bought a Corsa a few months ago from Vortex. Yes they're no pressure, and it feels relaxed, but honestly - we're utterly devastated with the recent outcome of our purchase.

We bought a small car (a Vauxhall Corsa £2.3k-ish) on finance as we couldn't afford to buy outright due to a downturn in personal circumstances, but really needed a car for our family due to caring needs and work.

A month ago the car completely blew up.

We have had to pay over £2.5k (beg, borrow, cry for it) to have the car restored by our trustworthy mechanic I've used for 20+ years, who has essentially said the car should never have been sold, and it was clearly only ever fit for scrap.

We've had to have the whole engine rebuilt, new timing chain (as the one fitted was even the wrong chain!), new headset, bolts, pump, belt, thermostat, full sets of followers/rockers plus labour.

We're now essentially paying £5k for a car that isn't worth more than scrap value. And the garage have said they can't even guarantee the repairs will last and wont need redoing (under their parts warranty) because the rest of the car is so unfit for purpose.

I phoned Vortex the day it happened to let them know and all we got was "Oh right, ok, sorry about that. Ok, Bye".

We were broke as it was because of repeated redundancies and the cost of living - and we believed Vortex to be genuine and decent so took a chance we will never take again. They are absolutely not.

We wont recover from this financially for a very long time and we are now choosing between heating and eating, while our 7yr old can't even attend his clubs anymore.

Heartbroken. We just needed a 'good enough' car.

**ridiculous reply from the company. The whole engine blew including headgasket which is exactly what I told them on the phone. My mechanic has never ripped me off in 20+ years and I always price check their work. The repairs were also confirmed by 2 other quotes.

If they're so willing to help, you'd imagine they'd volunteer their mates rates garages at the first call, wouldn't you.

A car should last longer than 6 months, and given the state of the previous repairs carried out on the car, no one should trust your mates garages either.

Cannot rate John and the team at Vortex cars highly enough. A fist class experience from beginning to end. Absolutely seamless sale. After sales was awesome. Also a huge thanks to Tony for delivering my Mini Cooper.

Professional, friendly and helpful service. Following test drive John helped arrange necessary paperwork, VEL and temporary Insurance cover.

I have sadly been disappointed with the service this tome. I am a returning customer and everything was great leading up to pick up day. On the day I was given the wrong information about the warranty, which cost me £399 extra ! The incorrect information meant that the policy was not suitable for my needs. I reported this and added for either yo be changed or cancel my purchase if the policy. I was told it would be changed. I have chased several times for the amended paperwork and I still haven't received it, now almost 5 weeks on. There were also a handful of minor issues with the car. A couple were sorted out but one has not, and my emails are now being ignored (i am not great on the phone). I totally appreciate I have bought an older car and it will not be perfect however the inspection checklist has it as checked and ticked .. indicating it is working fine ? .. so if it is not then surely it should be sorted out. I have just been told it is not covered.
I am so disappointed having had a great experience with them for my last car and at the start of this purchase.

Bought a car from Vortex a few weeks ago, no pressure to buy and was just left to look around the car and test drive it straight away. Loved the car but it had a couple of bodywork issues which were sorted before sale. A few days after I picked the car up I noticed it had a couple of issues. The car went back to Vortex and everything fixed under warranty. Very happy now.

Absolutely amazing, couldn’t wish for a better experience they were very welcoming and helpful and answered every question I needed to know.

Came across Vortex while looking for a newer car. My husband and I are so pleased with how we were treated. Any questions we had were answered in great detail. He was a lovely gentleman. Would definitely go here again if I ever need a new car
