I am the original 'Bug Lady', breeding and supplying many types of creepy crawly pets. My little home business has now been going for over 40 years, in the last few years I have found myself being called the ‘Spider Lady’ more often than not. Trends are continually changing and arachnids are far more popular than they have ever been before. I have a bug room at the side of our house that is dedicated to keeping a multitude of creatures. Since moving out of London in 2003, my work is mainly postal, so many things have changed over the years. My first online store was set up in 2009 and in October 2012 my current online store went live, the photographs are larger and clearer, the information is more comprehensive and the online ordering is simpler and therefore easier to use. Even I find it hard to believe that I once sent out paper catalogues and waited for customers to post me their orders and cheques. I am still readily accessible by email and telephone and I strive to maintain my position as the most friendly and reliable bug supplier!

I've purchased several times from Virginia and she always provides an excellent service. Insects come well packaged and you are well informed of the progress of the order. Highly recommend

Very nice lady ,and very helpful. Great Tarantula.

Very nice lady to deal with ,happy to measure the Tarantula I was buying so I knew what size set up to put them .Let me know when.my tarantula was posted out to me and when it would arrive. Very well wrapped with a heat pad to keep my little one warm . Great lady to buy from

Amazing seller

Amazing seller! Lots of useful information on website, ordering was easy, tracking information was provided and regular updates were sent, really approachable seller and most importantly, all minibeasts arrived incredibly happy and healthy and I received many more than expected at all stages of development (cockroaches). I will definitely purchase from Virginia Cheeseman again.

Excellent

I made my first order with virginia cheeseman and I'm very happy with my bumblebee, zebra and Ghana speckled leg milipedes. I will definitely order from here again

Exceptional service

Virginia Cheeseman provided exceptional service throughout my purchase of a Cyriocosmus Elegans. The tarantula arrived promptly and in perfect condition, thanks to meticulous packaging and care. Communication was excellent, with timely updates on shipping and detailed care instructions provided. The Tarantula itself is stunning, showcasing vibrant colors and fascinating behavior.
