2. Love the variety of shows. Primarily I watch K content, but I do watch a few others, too.
3. Appreciate some of the reviews.
4. Why I am no longer subscribing after this month: there are some genres I personally find distasteful. I have asked for Viki to provide a way for a subscriber to block certain content from appearing as recommendation. They have not to date. I kept trying to find a way to communicate this to Viki. My only option was to cancel my account. Then they asked why but still did not change anything.

La pubblicità nella versione gratuita e tantissima, inoltre quasi sempre viene ripetuta. Mi spiego meglio , cinque pubblicità tutte dello stesso sponsor. Alla fine, lasci perché non cela fai più. Queste interruzioni nuocciono allazienda, ma anche agli sponsor.

BEWARE UAE USERS - Wasted Money on 360p Quality!

I just spent 20 AED to rent a movie on Viki and it is a total waste of money. I am in the UAE and even after paying, the movie is stuck in trash 360p quality.

There is NO option in the settings to change it to HD or 1080p. The "Video Quality" button is completely missing from the player. Support is not helping and their system blocks you from getting a good picture if you are using a VPN or have a slight connection dip.

Do not spend your money here! They take your cash and give you a blurry video you can't even watch. If you want to watch Korean movies in the UAE, go to Netflix instead. Viki is a scam for rentals!

I started getting into a show and at episode 3 says I have to have a subscription I wished I’d would’ve known before I started I don’t mind the ads truly disappointed.

It was great until mid 2025. Their contract with content providers changed and their offerings of current KDramas are greatly diminished.
Not worth the fees anymore, in my opinion.

There is nothing on Viki you can’t see somewhere else. I live in asia and their library for asia is unbelievably stingy. What little they have that is good is restricted to the US. They are an amateurish organization. A waste of time.

Viki is very solid for Asian dramas. I mostly watch C dramas. What is bad is you can't make the movie go faster on TV or computer only on your phone. Who watches movies on their phone?! The subtitles are very solid and I have no complaints about that. What really sucks is there is very limited C dramas on Viki. All the good ones are on the other platforms. I threw in my towel this year ( I was on VIKI for at least 3 years!!) and went with Netflix and IQLYL since there seems to be more choices there. Like Pursuit of Jade is SUPER hot right now and only netflix and IQLYL but NOT on viki! I was super sad about that. It's such a great movie so far!

paid for no ads, but got ads and two lots of subscriptions were taken from my bank account....help is no use....there is no billing help section...I have attempted twice to delete my account...and if this company takes another dollar it'll be called stealing....which they have already done....

Ich wäre total begeistert von der App, wenn die Serien komplett übersetzt würden.
Ich habe dazu auch schon 2x den Support angeschrieben und auch 2x ein Formular ausgefüllt.
Man weist mich aber nur daraufhin, dass es freiwillige Übersetzer sind und man keinen Einfluss hätte.
Meine Frage also, können die Übersetzer eine Serie nicht komplett übersetzen? Warum liegen da so große Zeitsprünge zwischen?

Ive been a long time viki watcher. First as a free member then got a subscription but got peeved a year or so ago when all of a sudden a chunk of shows were either missing or behind a different pass level for you guess it, more money.

Recently for giggles I went out and tried to find full free series without a subscription and found none. Are there some somewhere? Im sure, but they aren't series that were remotely popular in the past few years. And don't get me started on the commercials every 4 mins...literally.

Whoever mentioned advance gravy ending is 100% correct. Somehow viki butchers that series towaed the e d. Free on YouTube tho.

The value is no longer there. A lot of times if you search around or are patient you can find the series you want for free elsewhere or on another platform like iqiyi. Buy a VPN and watch it local

ads every 5 minutes cannot enjoy watching. worse is its not even 1 ad. its 5 ads every 5 minutes ridiculous. waste of time and boring to watch with the ads. better pay netflix than this site

C'est normal de payer pour bénéficier de la HD et de versions sans publicité. Et je suis prête à payer plus pour des sous-titres de qualité.
Le travail de traduction est à revoir à tous les niveaux, du moins dans ce que j'ai vu dans les séries coréennes: incohérences de sens, gros problèmes syntaxiques, manque de fluidité du fait de certaines traductions trop littérales, temps de lecture trop courts / trop longs, sous-titres illisibles du fait de la superposition de certains sous-titres informatifs coréens, fautes de français etc. etc. etc. Le spectateur doit fournir un véritable effort de lecture, de correction et d'interprétation; c'est usant.
Mais le plus insupportable (bizarre que cela ne semble gêner personne) est l'affichage au moins trois fois durant l'épisode de la mention "les sous-titres vous sont offerts par ...blablabla". Pour le coup, le message est bien lisible, il reste bien longtemps dans le 1er tiers du bas de l'écran (et non pas discrètement, comme un sous-titre) et surtout, il est affiché dans les moments "à haute intensité dramatique", forcément lorsque personne ne parle, où il vous pourrit littéralement ce que vous êtes en train de regarder.
Raison pour laquelle j'ai quitté Viki.

Signed up for the Viki Pass for $7.99/mth. Used it one day then the company cancelled the subscrition. I thought it was my mistake so I signed up again, but now the Viki Pass went from $7.99 to $11.99/mth. I still signed up because I love the shows. The next day same thing, subscription cancelled again, and it says I cancelled it when I did not. I want a refund, but was my Apple account said that no refunds were available. This app is a scam for American viewers. I want my money back to my PayPal account. If this service is not available in my area, then why take my payments TWICE! DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE, they will scam you out of your money for no reason!!!!!!!!

Les séries sont biens et il y a du choix mais les équipes de sous-titrage font un travail baclé de très mauvaise qualité et ils sont fiers d'eux. C'est dommage que ces équipes gâchent tout!

School ou année scolaire 2013 que je regarde actuellement par exemple et beaucoup d'autres que j'ai déjà vu, rares sont les séries correctement sous-titrées.

Also ich finde es sehr ansprechend, klar habe ich auch hier und da was zu bemängeln, aber ich finde dafür das die App neu noch in Markt ist wie der streaming Anbieter finde ich trotzdem ist das eine Leistung was sie schon alles übersetzt haben, ich finde die das bemängeln soll erstmal bisschen runter kommen, da die App noch relativ neu im Markt ist, finde ich in ganzen ist es trotzdem gut übersetzt. Und bei neue Serie ist auch klar das Folgen in Häppchen kommen wie auch das die Übersetzung noch nicht drin ist.... Das sollte ein schon klar sein, wie auch das es etwas dauert.
Ich finde trotz allen ist die App sehr gut gelungen wie auch viel Auswahl ist drin, also ich sehe in ganzen kein richtiges Mangel. Bei mir hackt es nicht mal es geht reibungslos durch bei mir.

Sono abbonata a Viki ormai da anni,ho cambiato anche il piano tariffario da 4.90 a 8,90 ma niente non ci sono titoli in più solo questi che avevo già visto e devo sempre aspettare mesi per traduzione in italiano.sono ritornata al piano precedente. Per un mese da 4,90 e diventato 5,90 euro, non ho problemi di pagare pero voglio che la dramma si e tradotta, come Netflix,la e tutto tradotto.Cisono molto persone insoddisfatti proprio per questo.Con AI potete tradurre subito e avere un servizio eccellente, se no pagate le persone che fanno la traduzione.Ci sono molto drammi bellissimi che non sono disponibili e il catalogo e limitato per chi piace dramma cinese.Spero che il servizio sarà migliorato.
