While there are many places online that promote their services to arrange a Vietnam visa, I used Vietnam-evisa because their website was easy to get around.

It's as simple as filling in the online application and submitting it. They provide several options on how to pay their service fee.

I got an immediate response to say my application had been received and to expect a response within 24 hours indicating how my application was going.

True to their words, the followup email gave me a date and time when to expect the letter of introduction.

On the expected day the letter was emailed.

Over the next few days Vietnam-evisa followed up with a couple more emails to ensure that I had received the introduction letter, and promoting a couple more services that they provide.

There was no pressure to use the extra services, more like, here we are, this is what we can do for you if you would like our help.

I didn't use any extra services and getting through the Vietnam Visa on Arrival process in Hanoi was easy.

Would I use Vietnam-evisa again?

Most definitely. I recommend that if you are coming to Vietnam use these people. Don't mess about, make life easy for yourself, and enjoy your visit to Vietnam right from the very time you land at the airport.

No need to go to the Embassy or Consulate to get your visa approved : do it all on your PC, and print the approval letter you will receive within 2 days. Then you can board your plane. That's it !
BUT : once you arrive at the airport, it is a very different story : huge line to submit your approval letter, followed by a very long wait ( 1 hour in our case in Ho Chi Minh ) for the tiny office to process it, and all of this comes quite expensively, as just one entrance will cost you $ 45 ! Once done, you still have to go through immigration and wait for an agent to stamp your passport. All in all, a very poor service, inefficient, disrespectful, and a foretaste of what awaits you in Vietnam when dealing with an administration

I have already paid the online Visa, and have received the stamped letter, but still need to wait very long at the Visa office. Why? In other countries, when online Visa is done, you just straightly go through the immigration for stamp. Even you do the landing Visa, e.g. Indonesia, Taiwan, it won't take you more than 5 minutes. Second, the price is too high, the online Visa took me about USD20, and landing Visa USD45, total USD65 for SINGLE entry. For other countries, say in Taiwan, it's about USD 20-30.

Vietnam Visa Services were extremely helpful in getting us last minute Visas. My wife and I were traveling from USA to Philippines > Vietnam > Thailand. At the Philippine Airline ticket counter they asked for our Visas... which we didn't have. I had no idea that a visa was needed if you enter Vietnam from PI. Anyways to make a long stressful story short a friend had been in the same situation and told us to use Vietnam Visa services. Before taking off for our flight I went on their website and chose the standard service since we had a couple of days in PI and added the fast track option. By the time I made it to the hotel in Philippines everything was pretty much squared away. Email communication was great. They constantly kept me in the loop with instructions on what I need to do and any updates they had. Upon arrival in Vietnam a staff member was waiting for us with my name on a sign. There were a lot of people waiting at the Visa on Arrival area but the fast track option helped by pass all that. You can tell from people's body language that they were there for awhile but we were done in less than 15 mins. Our passports were handed back to us and we made our way to the immigration checkpoint and entered Vietnam with no problems.
