Today we lost our most loved 17 yr old dog - Binny . The team at Veteris were so gentle, kind & helpful from Luca who visited last night and Maela who helped us so much today as we let our beautiful boy go in the most sensitive, gentle way. Luca talked us through our options and Maela took it completely at our own pace. We will be forever grateful for your help. The nurses kept us informed every step of the way. Fantastic service by truly caring staff.

Amazing reassurance and service when you can’t get to the vet. Calm, kind and professional nurse at the end of the phone. Patient, passionate, committed vet carrying out the treatment. Highly recommend.

For us, the service was exceptional.
The vet arrived 40 mins after we called and operated on my dog’s eye at home. My little baby (my dog) woke up in my arms after the surgery and went straight to sleep in his own basket.
No other “emergency” vet were available- that was 12AM on a Sunday.
I found this company very reliable and would recommend 100%.
The bill was also half or what our local emergency vet wanted to charge (“in two days time” when my dog would’ve bled to death)

Where do i start, my dog was unwell and had to sadly put to sleep i stressed on the phone that he is a very big dog maybe over 60kg and he would need someone strong to lift him up or even 2 people they said not a problem we will send someone. Hours and i mean hours later a little skinny 20 year old girl, Artemis her name was to come, i said how are you going to get him out she said she will be ok she will call someone. NO MY PARTNER HAD TO PUT MY DOG IN A BAG AND CARRY HIM OUT HIMSELF. YES MY PARTNER HAD TO CARRY OUT HIS DEAD BABY. Then to make things worse i am so heart broken by we was told by this girl that he will be cremated and his ashes will be coming back, well to find out a month later of numerous calls of where my dogs ashes are.. to find out they wont be coming back they have been scattered on the grounds of the crematorium. can i make a point of they dont know where. So now i have no ashes for my dog, yeah nice aint it. Didnt think to tell me until a month later, when they can clearly knew he wasnt coming back. This place is nothing but a money grabbing scam place, dont bother try anywhere else you possibly can because they dont care about your animal at all. So yeah save yourself the heartbreak DONT USE THEM

called Veteris at 2pm as we found a nasty looking wound on our dog. They said the vet would be with us between 6 to 7pm. Past 10pm called them and they said they had no idea when the vet would come.
Lousy unreliable service.

My cat needed euthanasia and Veteris were the only ones who could come over the same evening.
The gentleman that came was a nice enough fellow. But it was the way he pulled the cat out of his basket whilst under anaesthetic was a little on the rough side. Then he managed to twist the poor fellows head around whilst turning him looking for his kidney. It felt wrong and a bit rushed.
Also I was quoted £400 on the phone and when he arrived he wanted £441. Apparently they do a full quote on arrival. No one explained this on the phone. We had no choice when he arrived but pay the extra.
Otherwise it did the job. I know he had to visit other customers, at night there must be other emergencies and ultimately Veteris is a business.

Outstanding level of care from Ziad for our cat he had an incredible bedside manner and was so kind and reassuring. He was extremely careful and left no stones unturned in helping treat and diagnose the issue.

While I hope to not need your service again I am reassured knowing that should the worst happen that such kind and professional people are available to assist.
