GREAT EXPERIENCE IN THE PURCHASE OF MY CAR
Dom was very supportive, helpful, informative and went through each stage at a pace suitable to me.. My experience at Vertu Vauxhall, Skipton was great - Dom, Ali (the GM) and other staff members were all very helpful. I did not feel pressurised but assisted all the way by Dom and Ali in what was a huge decision in the purchase of my new car. A huge thank you to all. I love my new car.

If I could give this company 0 stars, I would. Absolutely appalling service.
I purchased my vehicle on 01/04/2026 and as soon as I returned to Sheffield, the SOS warning message appeared. I contacted Vertu straight away and was initially reassured, but unfortunately this quickly changed.
Since purchase, I have had 8 issues with the vehicle, including faults present from the start. I am now 4 months down the line and still dealing with unresolved problems, broken promises, poor communication and having to constantly chase for updates.
I have even had to use a different name to get through to Joseph after being told his line was unavailable, which should never be necessary when trying to resolve a serious issue.
As a 20-year-old buying my first car, this experience has completely ruined what should have been an exciting milestone. The stress and lack of support has left me feeling like I cannot trust the vehicle is safe to drive.
I work in warranty myself and understand the processes, but it should not take 4 months to resolve issues and support a customer.
I feel completely let down and taken advantage of. I am now in the process of rejecting the vehicle through my finance company and have escalated my concerns to the Motor Ombudsman.
I would strongly advise anyone considering buying from Vertu to think carefully about the aftercare you may receive if something goes wrong.
The only thing good about this company is the lady from the customer service team who is very understanding of the situation and also agreed this should not still be happening.

Excellent Customer Experience
I would heartily recommend Vertu for buying a quality used car and would definitely, and in fact will, use them again when the time comes. We were helped to buy the right vehicle by a member of staff called Dominic who was, in every sense of the word, excellent and highly knowledgeable. He was professional but also highly personable and genuinely friendly. We felt reassured being in his capable hands and he made the whole experience so easy for us. It's been a long time since I bought a car from a dealership and wasn't sure of the process but Dominic certainly knew his stuff and we are now the proud owners of a quality used MG and very happy with both our purchase and the service provided.

Customer service was excellent when I bought a second hand id3. Dino was superb in sending all the details to us prior to going to the showroom even a video. The car was well presented and everything was explained well and a good deal was made for all concerned.
