Vertu Motors - Land Rover Chesterfield Arvostelua 

Do NOT buy from this company. If anything is wrong, they will not address it directly. A used Discovery Sport that has spent more time than it should back with Vertu, Shoddy if not non existent checks before delivery, poor state at handover, constant issues and weeks upon weeks in the workshop. After a few months i asked them to take it back, but they wanted me to lose £12000 YES £12000 for a car that wasn't fit for purpose. We have now sold it while not having owned it for 12 months to another trader and reduced our losses by £5000. How does that work? Vertu supply the car and are the worst buyer.
I have worked tirelessly for 35 years in the motor industry to rid it of the "Arthur Daley" Image, just for Vertu to dress it up in smart clothes and be the worst second hand car dealer they could be.
Save your money, Go elsewhere!

A fantastic experience at Vertu Chesterfield although my car did take a little longer than anticipated due to delays out of the dealerships hands. Jake always kept me up to date as much as he could with the information he had and once John Steele was involved, he really did everything he could to get my car delivered and did not disappoint. I'm so grateful and I love my new car! All dealings with the branch were professional and service top notch! Get your orders in with plenty of time to ensure delivery when you need your car. I will be back!!

Extremely helpful. Ashley Platts was just amazingly brilliant. He thoroughly walked us through everything. He was friendly, informed and polite. He kept us informed and updated with the status of our car throughout the experience. Can not thank him enough for his time and his patience. All staff were so welcoming and friendly too. Lovely atmosphere too. Highly recommend!

Disgusting individuals
Disgusting individuals and service, I don’t think they even have a clue how to run a dealership, not to mention they are a bunch of thieves taking property that doesn’t belong to them and will not give the items back. This has got me seeking the police and a solicitor, they constantly lie to you and feed you whatever they need to but they aren’t bothered about customers.
That John Steele has a serious attitude problem and has a chip on his shoulder and don’t get me started on Gary and David absolutely useless.

Had my vehicle for 3 weeks and still didn’t even know what the vehicle was in for, had the vehicle for over a month and still hadn’t sorted the car. Absolutely no communication from them whatsoever even though they had my details and I’d called on several occasions but never hear anything back. Told me they only had one mechanic working as they are all off sick then another person says something completely different, and not only that had my vehicle for over a month and no hire car even with a disability and even when I rung to enquire never called back.

Just a bunch of incompetent cowboys I’d stay well clear of this dealership!

What a shame this dealership doesn't realise what Administration is required when taking in a Range Rover Sport as part exchange in a brand new £80,000 car.

I have receievd too many to mention texts and calls from a dedit collection company. After being able to get to the bottom of the issue, they are contacting me in regards a NO TAX fine from the DVLA.

I exchanged my car on 26th November and someone at Land Rover Chesterfield drove the car on the public highway on1st December, which resulted in the fine being generated. (they may have or not used dealer plates).

I now have a black mark on my credit file and am being chased for unpayment for teh first time ever, for a cost that isn't mine, all because someone, somewhere in Admin hasn't completed the transfer of ownership detail online.

I had to wait over 9 months for my new car, as someone, somewhere in Admin, ordered the car with the wrong optional drivers packs, on the day of production this came to light. Then Covid hit and along with the micro chip issues, I have a very long wait.

Clearly someone, somewhere in Admin needs to find a new job that requires no brains.

I will never use this dealership again, and recommend others travel to another dealership, there are plenty around.
