I decided to reserve a car online which was extremely easy to do. The car was competitively priced and was perfect for us. I had already secured my own finance so I was pretty much ready to proceed straight away. Sean called me and had actually managed to secure me a better deal with a 2 year warranty and wheel protection, even better! Sean was very informative thorought the process, making sure I was happy along the way. He is a credit to your company. Exactly what you would want in a sales executive. I would highly recommend Vertu to anyone looking for a new car.

I paid a reservation fee for a vehicle that was advertised at a specific price, which was also confirmed by the salesperson. Less than 24 hours later, the dealership cancelled the sale, initially claiming the vehicle had been sold by another garage.

I was then informed by the sales manager Kris that the real reason for the cancellation was that the vehicle had been advertised at the wrong price. Instead of honouring the sale at the advertised price, the dealership chose to sell the vehicle to another garage at the advertised price.

Taking a reservation fee, arranging an appointment with a sales adviser to view the vehicle and complete the purchase, and then cancelling the sale within a day is highly unprofessional. The way this was handled was misleading and a complete waste of time. I would strongly advise others to be cautious before placing any reservation fees with this dealership.

I thought that the vehicle was very competitively priced, their trade in value was equal to their competitors. The salesman was helpful and easy to deal with. My only complaint was being made to listen to a long winded statement (not from the salesman) about taking out a car loan despite telling them that we wouldn't be taking one.

Vertu Hyundai Dunfermline were great because they had a great choice of vehicles. The staff were friendly and helpful and took time to answer any queries I had. Lucy is a great example of how a salesperson should be.

Car booked into Vertu Hyundai Dunfermline. Left with them all day for a safety recall. Contacted at the end of the day and advised that the car had been sat all day without anyone going near it and told to come and collect it.
No apologies, just the very generous offer of a future appointment some time at the start of next year. Hopeless.
On second visit, all work was carried out and communication was good. Car given a quick wash.

Why did I choose to travel 115 miles by bus to buy a new Hyundai Inster Cross from Vertu Dunfermline when there is a perfectly good Hyundai dealership - I've bought without problem from there before - 30 miles away in Aberdeen? Well - I received offers from both via carwow. Dunfermline were the cheaper of the two and could supply the car much sooner.

Kelly, the Vertu Silverline carwow contact quickly located the car in their stock, and the New Sales team at Dunfermline in the shape of Vaila and her boss Kenzie ensured the buying process went extremely smoothly, even offering to pick me up from the Halbeath Park & Ride. They were very interested in selling me the car without being pushy.

I have bought cars twice before without seeing them, both from sales contacts who I knew personally, and this time it also proved nothing to worry about, with Vaila giving me a video tour beforehand, free drive-home insurance (not on the carwow quote) and a useful briefing on how to drive an electric car just before I set off back north. Kenzie saw to it that the granny charger was in the boot and followed up a week later asking whether I was happy with the car and was there anything else they could do.

All in all - a good new car buying experience. Vertu went the extra mile and made it worth me going an extra 170.
