I placed an order and changed my mind and called the company within 15 minutes. They assured me the order was cancelled. My debit remained pending for several days and was not backed out, they took my money. On top of that they took a separate so called order for $7.99 saying it was for a warranty. I clearing selected that I DID NOT want the warranty. Now I'm out $47.98 and they are claiming I will get a refund but they said; typically takes 3–8 business days for us to finalize the refund, and an additional 3–5 business days for the amount to reflect in your account, depending on your bank. My order still states not shipped on the website, it doesn't say canceled processing refund. I'll be surprised if I ever see my money! If I could give less than one star I would.

Item was not as described. said they would send refund. Send proof of authorization of refund, it was not what i ordered or the right amount. then they tried to take $39.99 from my bank a few weeks later saying i opted into their VIP program, which is BS. Run fast from this company!

[Part 3] Wow--the story continues: I found two additional charges from them for $39.99. Apparently, I "agreed" to a "membership" by not opting out when I made my only purchase. I complained, and again, they immediately refunded the charges--as they should have! I now view this company as little more than a scam that hopes a large percentage of their customers will move on and not bother with complaints.

[Part 2] I am amending this review to reflect Vernier's response to my complaint. I informed them that I was returning the smartwatch (misrepresented as a non-invasive blood surgar monitor), and they refunded the purchase price within hours. I have raised my star rating to 3 from one to reflect this unexpectedly swift response, which I appreciated.

I tried to order a weed puller through their website. At checkout I got a red flag at the top of the page that said "do not honor."
When I called the company that's listed in North Carolin,a a Florida phone number came up and was immediately shuffled to hold music without an answer.
When I contacted my credit card company they said that the charge was going to some medical company not vernier shop. Transaction was canceled end of story

The description of the portable windowless air cooler and picture were deceptive. The picture looked like it was big about 3.5 to 4 ft tall next to a sofa. They charged 116.00 for it. When it arrived it was about an 8 inch tall fan made of very cheap flimsy plastic. It wasn't worth 20.00. Then when I asked for a refund, they said it was on sale and it was a final sale but offered 35% back. They ripped me off. This is a scam company!

I ordered a cat toy and when I got to the checkout, after I confirmed the purchase, they added another $7.95 to my order for some warranty. Lol, They are not a good company. Never again!

This is a scam of stealing your money, I ordered a portable washer and it came in a beat up box and NO plug, when I called for a refund instead of refunding me my money they took out another 39.99 out of my account for a washer from HONG KONG that I can't use.

I would give no stars if given the options. I spent over $300 on two items that were not as described and made of cheap plastic. When I asked for a refund, they refused and said they would only give me 50% of my purchase. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM, THEY ARE A SCAM COMPANY!!

Don't order from this company. Garbage products and will charge you a crazy restocking fee if you try to return.

This website is a scam. The location stated on the website for the plush toy I ordered was North Carolina and reinforced that it was an "American" company. The site looked legit. It is NOT legit. My credit card was compromised and had to be replaced. When the toy finally arrived, after receiving a non-specific email about delivery changes, it arrived late and the electronics failed to work. Do not order from this company.

The product I ordered arrived in good condition and matched the description, but the overall experience was just average. Shipping took longer than expected, and the packaging felt a bit flimsy. It's not a bad store, but I think there's room for improvement in both speed and presentation. I might order again, but I'll compare options first.

I ordered a patriotic wreath for my apartment door at the end of April because the business is listed with a U.S. address. It took nearly 2 weeks before I was notified it had just shipped. I finally received it May 23. The picture and description on the
website doesn't indicate that it's flat, nor does it say it's a lithograph, and not 3 dimensional item. Very disappointed.

I was scammed!!! I haven’t received my sandals that were supposedly coming from CA, but now claims China! It’s been a month. And then today tried to hit my account for $39!! They are now blocked! Payment was declined! They will not get more money from me! Do not buy from this so called company!
I did end up getting sandals. Not the quality I expected. Also received a $7.95 refund for the unauthorized charge. But an effort to charge my acct multiple times, different amounts continued to happen under many different names. Thankfully it never went thru because I blocked it. But happened so often I had to get a new card. I have been taught a great lesson and will only buy from reputable places from now on. I may have to pay more, but at least I know what I will get!

The item I ordered was described as long handled and stainless steel. It was plastic with no handle. And it took 2 weeks to arrive.

Called to ask if there was a mistake, but all I got was a a promise to send an email with instructions for returning the item and receiving a refund. An email that has yet to arrive.

Definitely a scam-ish business. I ordered a stainless steel weeding tool but received a hard plastic replica. The tool is likely usable but not a metal tool that I thought I was paying for. The price was a little too good to be true. My packaging was a US shipping labeled placed over a foreign shipment label. They are not a “based on US” business (although there is nothing inherently bad about a non-US business). Lesson learned.

We ordered a sun hat for my husband at the end of April. The order was supposed to arrive in 3-5 days. We ordered because the shop says it’s in the U.S. They sent the item from China and it sat in holding. They applied a fee for ‘extended warranty’ even though I declined that item. After 8 days I requested the sun hat and warranty be cancelled. They refunded both. Right after I cancelled we got two fraudulent charges on my credit card. The shop had put me on a ‘membership’ and then someone used my card to buy makeup/beauty supplies. I’ve cancelled my card and reported the fraudulent charges.

DO NOT order from this company.
They are NOT in the US.
I bought an item and it was damaged when I received it, in addition to being cheap crap.
They have now charged me TWICE for charges I did not approve. They will retain your credit card info and charge you for a membership subscription a month later.
