On Monday 29th May 2023 at 11.36 am I ordered a replacement a car Bonnet for Skoda Octavia Estate 2017-2020 (as shown below) and was supplied with an acknowledgment email with Order number VS22688 from this company.
Soon after I realised that I had ordered the wrong item.
So, on Monday 29/05/2023 at 11:54 I sent an email to Vehicle-Spares.com as shown below.
Hello good day, I am after purchasing a replacement bonnet for my Skoda Octavia 2017 Estate se tsi 150 auto. I have ordered the bonnet shown below but do no think it is the correct one for my vehicle. I believe that the correct Skoda part number for my car is 5E0823031B. I am so sorry to make a mess of ordering the incorrect part. If you need to contact me pleased do not hesitate to contact me, thank you. Kindest regards. Paul.
After receiving no reply from the merchant, I was concerned that they would action the order even though it was incorrect.
I have tried to contact Vehicle-Spares.com on the telephone number 0333 22 44 847 that is shown on their order acknowledgement email.
31/05/2023 10.23 am – 3rd Phone call made – no reply – message left – as of now no reply.
30/05/2023 9.38 am – 2nd Phone call made – no reply – message left – no reply.
30/05/2023 9.38 am – 1st Phone call made – no reply – message left – no reply.
After strenuous efforts to contact the merchant to explain my error I have been unable to rectify this matter alone.
I then went to PAYPAL to obtain a refund for the full amount for the item described above.

Ordered a part. Cancelled it straight away. Said id get refunded within 3 working days. Its been 6 working days and still nothing. Havent answered the phone even though ive called around 20 times now on different days and times. Have not got a call back. Havent had a reply to my emails either. Ridiculous customer service. Will be taking it further to reclaim my apparently refunded £270.

Terrible customer service
I recently ordered two bumpers from vehicle spares with next day delivery, after 3 days I had not received them so I tried to get in contact with the company. After multiple phone calls (no answer) I then sent an email (no reply) finally I saw that I could contact them through WhatsApp again no answer. After 3 days I wrote another message stating that I would have to contact the bank and claim my money back if I didn't get a response. Funnily enough they then started replying blaming the delivery company and they did eventually get them re sent and I did get my bumpers but it was a really bad experience and would definitely not recommend anyone use them unless they are ok will a lot of stress and aggravation.

Hello Matt. We offer next working day delivery as a standard service. From time-to-time we do have issues where deliveries are delayed by the courier, which is why we state that large items can take up to 2 working days. Your order was shipped with Tuffnells who unfortunately went into administration at the point your order was due for delivery. We were unable to get a response from the courier so we decided to send you replacement bumpers out. These arrived with you promptly via a different courier. The original bumpers were eventually delivered too which we collected from you, along with one of the bumpers you no longer wanted at no cost to you. Given the circumstances I am disappointed that our service has been tarnished by the courier letting us down resulting in a 2 star review.
Massive help.
These guy’s were really helpful and went above and beyond to get me some new headlights and at a very reasonable price. Massive thanks to Simon.

Two dealings with these guys.
1) Delivered a really hard to find part super quickly at a price comparable with second hand ones. Brill.
2) One part didn't quite work out with what I was trying to do and despite me farting about on the return, gave a full refund. Chap I spoke to on the useful WhatsApp thingy couldn't be more helpful either. Top man.

Fantastic experience!!..
First time dealing vehicle spares com and they turned what might have been a difficult experience around in a matter of hours!!.. the experience being.. that I had ordered the incorrect part !.. contacted them through WhatsApp before it was dispatched and they sorted easily out with our fuss . Refunded me right away. They couldn’t have been more helpful and they will be my first point of f contact from this point on for any other parts required. Thank you again.

Great experience
Phoned to confirm what I was ordering was correct for the car and confirmed it was. Ordered online and was delivered the next day very securely packaged as it was a body panel. I emailed shortly after ordering and asked if the could leave in secure place and did ao as requested. Straight forward transaction, exactly as it should be. Will use again and very competitive on price.

Hi Steven,
I am sorry to see that you have given us a 1 star review. As explained when you wanted to return the products, we were unable to refund your order as you had opened a chargeback with your bank, to which the bank then sent your funds back once they had processed it.
Regarding the part you purchased, we ask for a registration number at the point of purchase. You did not include this so we will not have checked the fitment before dispatch. This product must be the wrong fitment for your vehicle as we have sold 15 of these in the last 60 days with no reported issues.
I agree that £36 is expensive to ship items to Ireland from the UK mainland, but most of the products we sell are very large and is why we get charged that by the courier.
I had a quick look at your other reviews and it seems you haven't been happy with any service from other businesses in the UK.
With all that said, I wish you all the best. You got your money back, we got our product back.

This would have been a 5 star review, the item arrived quickly and efficiently, but unfortunately I had to return the item i they replied to the email as to where to send it back to quickly then stopped replying to emails when I asked when my refund would be processed and you can never get anyone to answer the phone when you call. BEWARE when buying from them

A 5 star review would have been great! As explained the item you returned had nothing on it to link it to you as a customer so simply sat in our returns department until it was chased. Once we linked the return with your order after speaking with you, you were refunded. I think "absolute crooks" is a bit harsh when we provided a service as expected and explained that our phone lines had been affected due to an exchange failure. We can be contacted by email, livechat, whatsapp, facebook for future reference.
