Die Dashcam hat etwas mehr als 2 Jahre funktioniert, danach will sie plötzlich keine SD-Karte mehr formatieren bzw. meistens nicht, weil manchmal nimmt sie diese an, allerdings nur für 1 Tag, danach geht das Spiel von vorne los, der Support hat sich einmal mit einer Standardantwort zurückgemeldet, in der überhaupt nicht richtig auf meine Fragen eingegangen wurde, sonst hätte man nicht nach Sachen gefragt welche ich schon in meiner Anfrage geschrieben hatte.

Jetzt wird sich seit Tagen Tod gestellt und es kommt nichts mehr, solange die Cam funktioniert ist sie ok, aber wie gut ein Gerät ist merkt man erst wenn es Probleme gibt.

Die Dashcam Nexus 4 Pro hielt genau 1 Woche. Die App funktioniert nicht.
Die Beschreibung war China deutsch.

Zubehör musste zusätzlich gekauft werden. Obwohl die Kamera 350 Euro kostet.
Ich habe alles retourniert. Leider erhält man von dem Shop keine Rücksende Adresse. Auch nach mehrmaligem Anschreiben nicht.

Dashcam gut, aber sehr lange Versandzeiten.

ich habe mir die Vantrue E1 Pro bei Dashcam Shop gekauft.

Leider habe ich noch zusätzlich ein Kabel gebrauch, welches ich bei Vantrue bestellt habe.
Der Versand dauert ewigkeiten, die sind scheinbar nicht fähig, schnell auszuliefern.

Bestellt alles rund um Dashcam bei: Dashcam Shop. Da ist der Versand super schnell, 1 Werktag und die Ware kostet genau so viel. Die haben auch viele Reviews von den Cams und drehen euch KEINEN Schrott an.

Specific replacement cables very difficult to source in UK. Some retailers like dashcam-shop.com Do Not ship to UK. Amazon frequently out of stock. Only option is often the 15m cable direct from China with long shipping times. For a common wear item like cables, this poor parts availability makes an otherwise good dashcam impractical for UK users.

Die Kamera macht zuerst einen guten Eindruck und sie tut was sie soll. Aber bei einem kleinen Unfall, bei der die Kamera selbst nicht beschädigt wurde, hatte die Kamera eine Fehlfunktion und lösche die letzten Videos, statt sie in den Vorfallsordner zu verschieben.
Laut Service ist das kein Grund zur Reklamation, denn bei einem Unfall können schon mal Stromschwankungen auftreten die solche Fehlfunktionen bei Elektrogeräten verursachen.
Klar, aber ist die Kamera nicht genau für den Fall eines Unfalles gebaut! Also muss sie auch darauf ausgelegt sein einen Unfall zu überstehen!
Der Service redet sich ständig raus, eine Reklamation wird nicht akzeptiert!

Im Juli 2022 habe ich eine Vantrue X4S Dual dashcam gekauft.

Mittlerweile treten folgende Probleme auf:

- Kein Bild der hinteren Kamers
- ständige Neustarts der Kamera
- Keine Aufzeichnung der Fahrt, teils vordere Kamera, nie hintere Kamera
- Bildschirm ist manchmal immer an
- Kamerabild friert ein
- Man gelangt nicht mehr ins Navigationsmenü
- Antwort des Support (Lukas): kauf dir am black friday eine neue...

UPS said they delivered my dash cam, but it was not on my porch. I contacted Vantrue customer service via email. They replied and told me it had been delivered and to contact UPS. I can't comment about the product since I didn't get it. Customer service doesn't exist.

Very poor customer service, mixed with misleading information on the website about a particular deal (10% off). This has lead to me avoiding the purchase altogether now and looking for another dash camera provider. Disappointing.

Don't bother ordering anything from Vantrue it doesn't arrive, And when you ask you just get an automated response. Luckily I was covered by PayPal & got a refund. Not worth the headache awful experience 😕

Ware kommt auch China. Lieferzeiten zu lange und Preise für Zubehör deutlich zu teuer. Bedienung zu umständlich. Kommt für mich nicht mehr in Frage.

My dashcam, fully working for 4 months, went into permanently on mode after a firmware update, rendering it unusable. I am on the cusp of returning the camera to Amazon as being faulty. Here is my correspondence with Vantrue so that you can judge if my one star rating is justified:

[ME] I have left the following message on your Reddit forum, but have yet to have any response. I updated my E2's firmware on Sunday 11th February and today the car would not start. On examining the SD card, I see that the camera has been recording permanently since the update, for a full three days, 24 hours a day . It would appear that it is not entering parking mode. However, looking at the settings, I am unable to change the parking mode from OFF to ON as it will not allow me to select that option. The camera has been unreliable since it was purchased in November with intermittent SD card errors and camera freezes and I thought that a firmware update would fix that, but doing so has made the issue worse. I am still within my legal 6 months window to reject the product as being defective at the time of manufacture, but I want to give Vantrue one more chance to fix this issue before I return the camera to Amazon. Given that it is impossible to switch parking mode on since the firmware update, how do I go about fixing this issue?

[Vantrue] Thanks for your contacting. Since we were in the middle of Chinese New Year, we didn't get back to you in time on reddit.

1. It should be the hardwired kit wiring error that causes the E2 dash cam can't enter the parking mode. If the yellow ACC wire is connected to the permanent power fuse, after the car is turned off, the hardwired kit can't judge the low voltage protection, so the dash cam will record continuously for 24 hours.
Please connect the buck wire in this way (black wire to car battery negative fuse, red to positive fuse, yellow to in ACC+ fuse)

2. SD card error, it should be occasional bad card speed, card speed can't keep up, so the main camera will report error. You can format the card or replace a card to solve the problem. The frozen screen may be caused by poor contact of the rear camera cable, if unplugging the rear camera cable when the screen freezes solves the problem, then replace the rear camera cable with a new one to solve the problem.

[ME] Thank you for your response. However, this problem has only happened since the firmware update. Before that, there was no issue and the dash cam was entering parking mode correctly. I will check the wiring, but that is not the main issue.

It is only since the firmware upgrade that there is not the option to change parking mode on the screen. Parking Mode states OFF and when I select it, it just goes back to the higher level menu. I cannot change the Parking Mode options on the screen, whereas I could before the firmware update. I take the point with regard to the SD Card,  but this problem is intermittent and can usually be resolved by removing and reinserting the SD card. Interestingly, after the firmware upgrade, there were no SD Card errors, so I am going to assume that this was a firmware issue rather than an SD Card issue.

With regard to the frozen screen, this is another intermittent issue. However, as to why this would make the front camera freeze is beyond me. That feels like poor engineering. And as the camera and cables are only four months old, this feels like a manufacturing error of the camera and/or cables.

I am now awaiting a response to those points.

Im Juli 2023 kaufte ich von Vantrue eine N5. Diese lies ich von meiner Fachwerkstatt installieren und habe mit Vantrue mehrmals kommuniziert. Lukas, Sie sind einfach Klasse. Ich wurde nur sehr selten so fachmännisch beraten. Machen Sie weiter so. Die Kamera bildet 360 Grad einwandfrei mit einer sehr guten Qualität ab. Ich kann sie nur jeden empfehlen. Der Preis hat durchaus gegenüber anderen Produkten seine Berechtigung.

Vantrue N4 ist die Beste Dashcam, die ich besitzt habe. Die Garantie Verlängerung hat super geklappt und der Service ist schnell und 1A. Die Kamera liefert ein sehr scharfes Bild und die Videos sind ruckelfrei und Kennzeichen sind sowohl tagsüber als auch nachts gut erkennbar. Was bei anderen Dashcams oft nicht der Fall ist. Würde ich weiterempfehlen :)

Just bought a n4 and initially I liked it BUT, their customer service is terrible! No phone just email type of communication. I’m just trying to update the thing and nothing works. Very frustrating! Would not recommend!

Ho acquistato una vantrue E2 da qualche settimana, rispetto ai modelli precedenti hanno fatto un grande lavoro in termini di estetica facendo dispositivi compatti ed esticamente curati.
Dalle prove che ho fatto le riprese sono ottime, i comandi vocali funzionano molto bene, e la dashcam essendo compatta si nota veramente poco.
Modalità park mode fantastica, consiglio l’acquisto dell’accessorio.
Tutto sommato rapporto qualità prezzo buona, la consiglio.

Super Service. Selbst als ich defekte Produkte erhalten habe, hat man alles dafür getan, damit ich wieder zufrieden bin.

Purchased a Vantrue N4 dashcamera which had some issues and according to me, has allot of design flaws. However!, this review is not about the product.

My feeling for Vantrue is so far is rather neutral.
I've been in contact with them regarding support for my purchased cashcamera and they have responded with fair dedication to my issues.

I have made an account to register an extended warranty. Truth be told, their website is not the best and at times rather annoying to traverse.

It seems that Vanture is active and have made a great section for software updates and product downloads which is HIGLY appreciated!
