They do their Utmost to cock it up
I absolutely appaling company they have been dragging their heals for over a year when supposedly closing my belated father in laws account. They repeatedly ask for the same information even information that was shared by our solicitor after my father in law passed away. All this is doing is racking up fees they take from the account and gets my wife and her family upsetduessse nature of the account to be closed. The latest sham is asking for bank details yet we have copies of bank statements stamped received by utmost. If we could give zero we would

I'm coming up to age 75
I'm coming up to age 75, so lots of admin re. pensions. Utmost gave me clear notice, in English that I could understand, about what I needed to do, and when I rang them to check on details they understood what I wanted and answered my questions accurately. Can't really ask for more.

I could only see my policy number and type of policy, both of which I knew. I had hoped to access further details like fund value as well
However Utmost came back with a perfectly logical response and so I upgraded my rating to 4*
