AVOID! FAKES!

Would give ZERO stars if I could. Avoid Urban Sunglasses!

I ordered a pair of Ray-Ban sunglasses from Urban Sunglasses, and what followed was an absolute joke. The first pair arrived damaged and looked suspiciously fake. I returned them, only for the replacement pair to arrive damaged too — and this time, they looked unmistakably counterfeit.

I took the second pair to a reputable high-street glasses retailer, who confirmed to me that they were 100% fake.

I complained to Urban Sunglasses and made it clear that I had sought professional confirmation that the glasses were counterfeit. Their response was that the warehouse had mistakenly sent out a previously returned pair. However, this did not address my main concern: why had I received glasses that were confirmed to be fake in the first place?

They then offered a full refund and yet another replacement. I have now received both, but after this experience, I have absolutely no confidence that the third pair is genuine either. I certainly don’t feel comfortable wearing them when I have no way of knowing whether they provide proper UV protection. Your eyesight is not something you should have to gamble with when buying sunglasses.

The fact that a full refund and further replacement were offered after I raised concerns about counterfeit goods also leaves me questioning whether this is simply a way to resolve complaints quietly rather than properly address the underlying issue. I cannot know their motives, but the whole experience has been deeply concerning.

I have reported my experience to Ray-Ban through their website, and I hope they investigate.

I would also urge potential customers to be cautious about the glowing five-star reviews. After my experience, I find it difficult to trust the overall picture presented by those reviews, although I cannot verify whether they are genuine.

AVOID URBAN SUNGLASSES. Three pairs, two damaged deliveries, and a second pair that a reputable retailer confirmed was fake. A refund does not undo this experience or restore my trust.

If you’re buying Ray-Bans, I strongly recommend purchasing from an authorised retailer. It’s simply not worth the risk.

Love the glasses and super fast service

Great experience! The sunglasses arrived safely and well-packed. When a minor customs issue came up, customer support was quick to respond and resolved it right away. Very helpful and reliable service!

Absolutely awful costumer service. Glasses arrived broken. Was told it would be replaced. After a week they decided to refund and not replace despite promising me a replacement. This was supposed to be a gift so ended up being giftless. They stated I can reorder but given I can no longer use the promo first order code anymore it worked out to be £40 more had i reordered. All in all a non existent costumer service.

I ordered my sunglasses last (Thursday 17th September), I received them next day, unfortunately the case was faulty (magnet didn’t close), I sent a message on WhatsApp first thing Saturday morning (with images) and with no hassle, sent a replacement case which I received yesterday (Monday 21st), great communication, fast delivery and spot on all round service.

The glasses weren't in stock so they took longer than expected to arrive apart from that I am happy with the glasses as they present well

Quick and easy service. I did have to return an item and it was so easy to do. They replied promptly and I got the refund back almost within two days. I placed an order on the 20th August for a pre order sunglasses with roughly estimated delivery of 6-10 days. I have received the sunglasses today on the 15th sept, even though it took a while i can't fault the customer service. Their customer service was more than helpful and replied in a timely manner via whatsapp. In terms of the sunglasses they i am very happy they are genuine Ray-ban. I recommend this company.
