They just waste your time with constant calls that consist of them asking maybe 2 question max and then it’s over. For some reason they insist that these have to be done face to face on video or in person. One time my agent didn’t even show up to the appointments so I wasted money on petrol and parking for no reason.

A visit to Chichester job centre to sort out my brothers UC who is disabled.
Having been lucky enough not to have needed their services before.
The centre itself was clean, well presented and calming. The receptionist was extremely helpful. I was seen quickly although I should have made an appointment. The advisor, Sanveet was lovely. Excellent listening skills, kind, sympathetic and sorted out my brothers issues efficiently. To make it even better, he even asked if I had support as I look after my brother who is very disabled.
As a psychotherapist, very few people ask me if I’m ok. So a 5 star review for excellent service!!!! Thank you

Absolutely horrendous customer service and service as a whole ..meant to be there tk help people who need financial assistance and they do exactly opposite at the first opportunity they can get to stop money ..they want total control of your life and want to know everything there is to know about your personal life ..THEY WONT BE HAPPY TILL THEY HAVE NO ONE ON UC ,unless u come in on rubber boat

Asked 4 times to send link for pdf file to send bank details and no responce in over 3 days,there quick enough to stop your benifit but wont help you when needed,got anough problems with mental health issues and feel the goverment dont really give a SHIT about the people struggling with life

I have had to apply for universal credit due to a serious accident , I have been off work for some time and now my pay has been considerably reduced .

I work within social care and I am also a trained practitioner and I will be returning to work . I had become unsure as to why the journal had options to write about looking for work as I had a job to return to when I am fit and I wanted to make sure that I had filled the forms out correctly .

I called the help line , the person on the end of the phone was condescending and didn’t understand what I was talking about and when I directed him to the page where it states to use the journal and he continued to be condescending and said he couldn’t see what I was talking about . Eventually he said “ that is just an option “.

I would have thought that one of the main topics is about looking for work and recording your search and this would be embedded in their training .

Overall humiliating experience .

The person on the other end gets you so angry repeating the same question over and over untill they hang up.

Had to ring the helpline about missing payment, the person I had a chat with was very helpful. The phone was answered very fast having cancer the missing payment has put a lot of stress on me as it makes me tired the cancer do.
But very happy with the fast service received thank you very much

The Cheltenham beach is the worst branch I’ve dealt with. Incompetent people that disregard me over and over again. They push through boundaries and force themselves upon you. They don’t care about your health. The force phone calls on you even if you’re driving they insist you take the call. They don’t listen to your needs. They inflict stress. They disregard your rights. They disregard your complaints. They are some of the worst people o have encountered. I’ve never felt to stressed in my life and am looking to get further legal advice on this.

DWP treat clients like crap. As it coming up to Christmas and my money due on 26th December they paying out on 24th December how does that mean I can do my Christmas food shop as all the shelves will be empty you DWP staff will have the perfect Christmas as mine will be beans on toast you treat us all like crap I love to see you manage in our situation

Absolutely rubbish, useless staff, system is a complete disaster, staff are so stupid, arrogant people who don’t have a clue what they’re doing deliberately put pressure on people claiming universal credit but this whole system is so stupidly and so stressfully designed online application form to fill in, this system was implemented by the so stupid so called MP’S who don’t live in a real world and created a completely useless botched up universal credit system!

If I could give 0 I would. Uneducated little busy bodies. My husband works and I am a carer to 3 of my autistic children.
We do everything that is asked of us on time. They wanted the impossible, asking for 4 full months of savings accounts. Well with Lloyds you can't unless you have money going in and out, so to stop us getting sanctioned I screenshot the balance and what I can of the savings accounts. No this wasn't good enough they wanted the year statement which again the lady at Lloyds said they will still get the same info as we do not produce statements unless money has gone in and out but we can out this in writing for you, will take 7-10 working days. So I updated this information on my journal but not one person had the desency to then reply, but they are bloody clueless on how banks work. So after numerous calls, one gentleman who was very helpful, I then called back 4 days later, spoke to someone else to get the deadline extended and wow what a rude ***** put the phone down on me telling me I am wrong. Well what can I say I will take legal action if my deadline is not extended. Sorry but these lot are thick, rude and stuck up. Well let me tell you I used to work. I have qualifications so do not sit there lording above people that are genuine. Go and get a lesson on banking.

I applied for housing Element mine got done in a day My brother Applied for housing Element his jobcentre is in Fleetwood a women called Karen is asking him questions that has nothing to do with the housing element. She is asking him questions that you would be asked when you sign onto universal Credit. When I did my housing Element I just gave proof of my housing cost and council tax bill. They clearly do not even know what they are even doing its a mess. We put a complaint in since this is a joke.

Terrible, done everything they requested me to do, was told by 3 different people there shouldn’t be any problem getting Universal Credit, got statement and got £0! I only wanted to claim one month till new job paid at end of the month, then come off claiming.
It has been MORE STRESSFUL than applying and getting a job! Couple of staff at job centre weren’t helpful at all! MASSIVELY DISAPPOINTED IN DWP! Just needed alittle help and got nothing, just hassle!
And they shouldn’t assume cause i live back with parent i dont pay rent, need to pay my way and couldnt claim any rent money either! Once again massively disappointed with DWP
