On receiving our policy renewal I telephoned the company to make an amendment to the policy and found the staff to be really helpful, knowledgable and efficient.
The whole process was very easy.

Rapid and clear response, with a friendly message.

This was a very difficult process from start to finish.

We live in the Isle of Man and wanted travel insurance for a trip to Lancaster, should whether delay our boat home.

We could not opt out of health insurance even though we didn't need it, so paid the same as a European trip.

Each girl needed to fill in the full paperwork, then once I had sent this Unity lost them. We were passed from staff to staff, I had to do a lot of chasing to even get a quote. Then resend the paperwork through a 2nd time (which was 8 emails worth of attachments for copies of all paper work, which could absolutely be on one page and not 2).

In short I would not choose to use them again.

As never organised insurance before I found the staff i spoke to very helpful and pleasant explaining everything carefully as most I didn't understand

Prompt, pro-active and professional. Easy to deal with, clean, understandable documentation, dealt quickly with ad-hoc queries.

The personal touch, quick and responsive and clear on what is happening.

We had to make a claim on the insurance for damaged drains at our local Guide Centre, Karen and Kaitlin made the process very easy due to their help and guidance, I can highly recommend Unity Insurance, this was the first time we have had to make a claim, and they made it less painful with their help.

Chelsea at Unity did a great job in navigating us through a hike in insurance due to correcting property valuation. Unity understand the wider needs of Scout groups and Chelsea was able to reduce the price increase whilst still maintaining good cover. She answered my many questions promptly and we got the right cover despite being a bit short of time for all the work done. Getting the valuation right is importantly even if the price is a bit higher. Being underinsured can spell the end for a Scout Group if disaster strikes.

Used Unity for many years for my Guiding Insurance - never talk to a real person as everything comes through via email or forms. We're happy with the renewal year on year, and like that we receive reminders about when it's due in good time.

Really easy. A 5 minute phone call to explain our significant change in circumstances and they updated our renewal documents and followed up to confirm we wanted to go ahead within a few hours - and at a slightly lower price too!

Yet again, extremely professional and efficient support from the renewal invitation, through renewal, to fully insured. Very happy with the competitive quote which was lower!! than the previous.

For the second year running, Unity have been unable to issue a certificate. I hope I don't have to chase them up as much as last year before we actually received it. It makes us look bad to the landlord.
