Created by a woman for women, Unique Vintage celebrates the iconic, flirty fashion of the past with modern, ready-to-wear designs for today’s woman. Started in 2000, uniquevintage.com was founded by Katie Echeverry, a vintage fashion lover who would spend her weekdays working in pharmaceutical sales and her weekends on the hunt for vintage dresses to sell on the website she had started as a fun weekend hobby. Quickly recognizing that high quality vintage items were very hard to find, Katie took a chance and began adding vintage-inspired dresses to her site, seeing sales skyrocket almost immediately. This was all it took for Katie to know that her weekend hobby was much more than just that, leading her to ditch the doctor’s offices and take on UV full time. As UV’s business continued its path of exponential growth, Echeverry opened a 4,600-square-foot brick and mortar boutique in 2008. This storefront location has stood as an iconic destination on the historic vintage row of Magnolia Boulevard in downtown Burbank since. In August 2015, Unique Vintage unveiled its first major renovation since its initial opening. Despite having several opportunities to move her business out of her hometown, Echeverry has remained committed to maintaining her local roots for the company. She cares deeply about the city of Burbank and prioritizes the store’s contribution to Magnolia Park. Since those early days, Unique Vintage has continued to grow, launching its very own Unique Vintage brand label to better serve the needs of the UV girl, while continuing to carry the retro-inspired labels that helped to put UV on the map. Building on the Unique Vintage label, UV has also launched exclusive collaborations with Barbie, Pantone, Coca-Cola, Universal Monster and more.

Poor Inventory Management
I used to like Unique Vintage for their unique styles, but this last experience really changed my view. I placed an order July 1 and didn’t hear anything until over three weeks later when they told me the items were sold out and wouldn’t be restocked. Why list items for sale if you don’t actually have them in stock? Any well-run business keeps proper inventory and doesn’t hold customers’ money for weeks only to cancel orders. This kind of practice is unacceptable and unprofessional.
Slow shipping, cannot contact customer service
Incredibly difficult customer service!!!! You cannot call them! NO chat! Email only, and responses take 18-36 hours. Completely unreliable shipping.
I ordered a garment on June 1, 2025, and it didn’t ship until June 12 because they were “moving warehouses “. They gave me a 25% discount on a future purchase.
If you want a garment for a specific event, you need to be in constant contact with them!
Two months of frustration
I ordered a mug and a dress from Unique Vintage. The mug arrived, but the dress never shipped. When I asked customer service about it, they said they would "replace" the dress (even though it never shipped ...?) and I would get an email when the "replacement" order shipped. After never receiving said email, I again contacted customer service, and they replied that the dress in question had sold out and might not be restocked. They did give me a refund, but only after nearly two months of waiting for an item I never ended up receiving. I can say with 100% certainty that I will never order from this company again. Cute clothes, but their business practices leave a lot to be desired.
Runs Very Small
Couldn't zip a size small dress up my back. I'm a size 2. Guess their clothes are built for total sticks?

I placed an order for 2 items at the beginning on April 16th, but received no shipment notification. I emailed their support address on April 28th for an update & received a response that my order was going to be shipped within 1-2 days and that they had recently switched warehouses, which was causing the delay. Fair enough. I didn't need the items in a hurry, so I thanked them & waited for a shipping update. Fast forward to today & I received part of my order. However, their site says that my order is 100% fulfilled. I called their CS phone number today at 2:00pm ET, well within their hours of operation (9AM-5PM PT) and received a voicemail response to use their online chat and the line went dead afterward. The online chat is unresponsive, so I decided to email again. I've ordered from them in the past with no issues, but right now all I want is my items and to forget they exist as vendors.
Customer service was excellent and I love my new dresses!
Although they took a little longer than expected to arrive, I am very happy with the dresses and with customer service. I ordered two small sized dresses, but found I needed medium. I contacted support and mailed them back. However, I received only 1 dress in Medium. I thought the other was just delayed, however, when I checked with customer service, they said TWO dresses were shipped. I explained only 1 arrived. They asked for the packing (which I fortunately saved!) They determined (without any further issue) that the weight showed 1 dress. They promptly sent the 2nd one and I am thrilled! Although it arrived too late for my event (ultimately my fault for ordering the wrong size) I greatly appreciate customer service for making things right. Note to everyone: Keep the envelopes/boxes until all of your order arrives! I am very happy and will be shopping with them again.
Terrible cheap quality
Terrible cheap quality, absolute rip off for £100
On top of that it was a "final sale" item which was never indicated to be non-returnable. I'm so heart broken.

Like you can hide behind "But the fine print says" all you want but that's so obnoxious.
Read the fine print carefully and make sure that their inconsistent sizes are exactly right otherwise your out of money.
Great Customer Service
I had ordered a dress during a really great promotion. When the dress arrived, it was too small, (this was my own fault as I hadn't read through enough info/reviews which said to order up) so I reached out to inquire about a return for the correct size. Unique Vintage replied quickly and helped me arrange everything I needed, and did so in the timeline required. I was able to reorder the correct size dress at the promotion price I had originally purchased (that promo was over but the happily set up a code for it to be honoured), and when they received the smaller dress I had sent back, a refund was promptly issued to me. I was very impressed with how easy their process was especially as it was an international return. I was also very impressed friendly and helpful their customer service agent was (Alexis was just the BEST!) I will definitely continue to do business with UV!

I ordered a dress for my cousins wedding. After a bit of time I wasn't seeing and shipping updates. I reached out to customer service and they told me it would be delivered shortly. After a few days, Alexis from customer service, reached out to me because she took it upon herself to double check and make sure I was going to receive my dress. She contacted me and told me she had found out it was lost during the shipping process. She didn't leave it there. She made sure I got my dress. She shipped another one to me and I got it quickly. The dress is fabulous quality. I didn't know what to expect because I had never ordered from them before. It is well made and more beautiful than the picture. I got so many compliments on it- even from the bride. I will be recommending them always.

Just found my new favorite store!!! Yall I loveee every single thing I got from this place!! Also- they sell things you can’t just find anywhere! Honestly, some of these dresses I bought are truly my DREAM dresses!!! Just gorgeous and the quality is great! Love the shoes and jewelry I purchased as well. Might be one of my favorite clothing purchases I’ve ever made!
2 MONTHS TO COMPLETE EXCHANGE
Sent in two dresses to exchange. Never heard back on anything after that. Reached out 2 months later and they just asked if I still wanted to exchange. What this tells me is they do not track shipment and returns or do not have any CRM tools in places to handle this kind of business. I would have been out $100 if I didn't proactively reach out. 2 MONTHS FOR AN EXCHANGE!?!?!?1?

Beware - the prices are not correct in non-US currencies
Over two months ago, I alerted Unique Vintage to the fact that the prices on their site weren't matched up properly (site set to NZ currency).
A $68 garment on the front page, actually is listed in the product page (and goes into the shopping cart) at $135
They said it was an issue with their currency settings and would fix it. I have just checked and it has not been fixed.
This is effectively false advertising, and I will not be purchasing anything more from them.

I would so love to give a glowing review! I LOVE the style of UV, and the photos of the fashions have incredible flare!
My issue is QUALITY, which is sorely lacking! I would gladly pay a bit more for higher quality fabrics and more careful stitching. I find the Unique Vintage clothing to really just barely be “costume quality” for a high school play - Not something I can wear as day to day clothing, which is what I was hoping for.

I never received my order. According to these scammers my order shipped twice but I never got any of it. I've asked numerous times for a refund and although they have promised it multiple times, I still haven't gotten that either. Save your money and shop elsewhere. Google this company and you'll see how common this is! Don't make the same mistake as me

Quality Has Dwindled
Unique Vintage has a wide variety of clothes for all kinds of bodies. They have significantly increased their prices while lowering the quality recently, unfortunately. Their customer service is hit or miss; I got an email from someone today and she definitely had an attitude. I have been a loyal customer for several years and am on the highest reward tier… They should treat their customers better. I also have an issue with them only giving you rewards for reviews when they’re 5/5 stars. That leads to untruthful reviews.
