Open Infra UK Arvostelua 

If I could rate less than 1 I certainly would. We have been without internet service for over 24 hours. Tried to call though to the contact number provided, no response but an automated message advising to email. We have emailed a few times, no response. I have messaged on social media, again no response.
Both myself and partner working from home, this is incredibly infuriating. Hot spotting from our mobile internet is unacceptable, when we were supposed to have a full fibre internet connection with Open Infra. We will be putting in a report with Ofcom and switching our provider back to Virgin Media. At least they had a customer service team you could rely on and problems were always resolved as soon as they were aware. My advice to anyone considering the switch to this company, please do not do this. Really unacceptable to not have the support you need when your whole internet service is down. Oh also to add they are off cut from Optyx Broadband company, their reviews not surprisingly so, are all negative.
Update: To state; we have had zero calls or emails as my email is not registered nor is my contact number. My partner also has not received “several” of these calls you speak of. Unacceptable when in a review below your response time is supposedly meant to be within 48 minutes. We have been without a service for almost 48 hours. No emergency contact number to reach out to for these cases. Not suitable and not a service we will be continuing with.

Not sure why all the low ratings. Yes this took a bit of time, but expected with new infrastructure area.

I have received emails of updates, instructions and an abundance of help from the open infra team (Abdirahman Ibrahim). I even had the delightful Jonathan Sher knock on a Sunday to see if everything was ok and he ended up resolving an issue I had but not yet reported. Thank you Jonathan, a superstar, went out of his way to resolve the problem and me and my family are extremely grateful.

I am live now and so far speeds of ~90mpbs, this is the second day of being live but already massive difference.

Colchester area, signed up in Nov 2023 after being convinced and promised it by March 2024.
I delayed signing any other contracts with Virgin/sky by 9 months costing me double and more what openinfra promise.
Finally gave up waiting and re signed with virgin sept 24 and tryed to cancel openinfra as they aren't delivering anything. Just got there foot(boxes in the door which ordinarily would be the last thing you fit!!)
Told I owe them £285 for the removal of two boxes internal external they fitted months ago damaging my walls to break the contract or wait.
They are not even up the road yet in the exchange boxes let alone in my house. No updates ever given, shoddy sub contractors in private beaten up old vans randomly drilling holes in houses and fitting boxes on the wonk. Blasting out my red brick work from not piloting properly with smaller drills.

Very good speed and I got answer on my questions 2 hours after emailing!

My elderly parents were told they weren't signing up but in fact they were and were cajoled into signing a contract for services they did not want. This is mis-selling. Do not use this company.

Phenomenal customer service, superb and reliable speed and consistency of connectivity.

OpenInfra solved my Wifi issues. The fibre connection works perfectly and gone are the fluctuations and cut outs.

Amazing speed, consistency and price. They installed the cables in my area without doing any invasive building work.
The team was very friendly from the first time they knocked on my door to this day. They installed our connection from the house to the street in one spot, but we realised we wanted it upstairs, and they drilled new holes and reinstalled it free of charge.
In about 1 year of connection, we have experienced almost 0 outages, and no variance in connection or badwidth.
On top of all that, there is a whatsapp group for the service in my area, so you can chat to people to find out if they are also experiencing issues, as well has quickly contact the area manager directly. Recently our whole area had a power outage and they sent engineers to sort out the box at the end of the road withing a couple of hours.
Overall absolutely quality provider.

It took us 8 months from sign up to connection here in Colchester - sometimes the communications wasn't clear and it took multiple engineer visits to sort out a problem with our cabling, but after very patiently holding on - it seems totally worth it - 900/900 at a fraction of the cost on what we were paying with Virgin. The email support was fast and very helpful and got my issues resolved. Would totally recommend it to anyone who has it in the area and whose alternative is stuck paying high prices for fast internet.

great customer service,the tech guys that came to my house explained it all very simply,500mb for £17.50 bargain.yes it was a bit of a wait (7 months) but all in all worth it for the faster service and cheaper price.
overall im a ver happy bunny....

I would be greatful if someone from openinfra team could get in touch with me please. We had installation in September 2023 and still no connection, I would like to speak to someone regarding cancellation of our agreement to discuss cancellation fees.
Unfortunatelly I can't get through on the phone

My annoyance is not with what they might or might not offer but their pushy approach. The sales rep must have knocked on my door more than a dozen times in the past few weeks. Initially I listened to what he had to say and looked into the deal. It turned out that when you take landline and calls into account it wasn't much cheaper than what we already have. Despite telling him that we are not interested, he keeps on pursuing me. This is harassment and totally inappropriate. I am considering reporting them to Trading Standards office.

From the initial consultation,followed up by a professional installation of the fibre cable.Everything now runs very fast & smooth like a well oiled machine.Good job & Highly recommended.

Great improvement from my previous service very reliable

Hello everyone.
I had signed up to open infra, well at first make could not make head nor tail of it as wouldn't let me do anything, anyway sent an email to Markus, demanding they send someone to fix it,never thought they would, low and behold the wonderful guy, engineer Zak arrived at my door, and in no time at all got it all sorted for me, took a little of time, but he said not going until it's up and running, absolutely lovely man explained everything, and so helpful.
So to say I am so grateful, and appreciate his help, and also Markus, for helping this little old lady out.
Thank you so much, shall recommend to all. Great service all round.

Their sales rep knocked on my door, initially wasn’t interested but the gentleman made good points, figured it was time to upgrade. Thank you Eni for being honest and upfront about the details and answered any questions I had

After first getting Open Infra 900 Mbps symmetrical service in February (review below), just a small update from me after more than two months to say I've been very happy with the service.

So happy in fact that I upgraded it to 2,500 Mbps symmetrical (which admittedly is probably overkill). I pretty much always get that speed and the service has been solid and reliable.

Many thanks to Max who came round a few months ago, Abdi and Markus in support for responding quickly to any queries I had; and special thanks to Martin and his team of engineers who've been really great. I'm looking forward to many years of Internet service from Open Infra!

After many attempts to get us to sign up by knocking on the door we did. Since this point the service has been appalling. Similar to another review, an engineer turned up with black wire even though we requested white. The engineer said that customer services would contact me to finish the installation at a later date. I heard nothing. I contacted them eventually and booked an appointment and they didn’t even turn up! We are not scheduled to start using their internet until September when the contract with our current provider ends so this is even more shocking how bad they are! I would avoid this company, I wish I had known this before signing a contract. Now need to look at how I can cancel even though we are legally bound. The customer service on the phone and in person is extremely poor!

Ricardo from ‘2welve fibre’ was very friendly and respectful and did a nice and neat job.
