Humax customer support email Address uksupport(a)humax-digital.co.uk keeps returning a delivery failure.
Also I've tried 3 times to register the warranty but the submit button fails to work.
Finally on the new aura ez set top box there is an issue with the recording guide not being populated with a schedule as well as and bbc2 and itv are not where they should be

Remote arrived within 24 hours from placing the order! What’s not to like?

The sales department were very helpful, ordering online was easy and delivery was prompt. I ordered a replacement remote because some of the commonly used buttons on my existing elderly one had stopped working properly. The new one is like for like replacement.

Marcus who dealt with me helped via email, being extremely prompt and giving me all the advice to try and rectify the problem I was having and after going over a few resets we came to the conclusion that the remote needed replaced so he sent 1 out and now everything is working fine as it should...thank you Marcus and team Humax

I rang Humax for help with my new remote control and a gentleman called Marcus was so helpful talked me through some things to do. He then sent me an email explaining ways to also be able me to turn the television on and off which has been a marvellous help as I am older and disabled. I am just so pleased I could not have done this on my own.

Still the quality kit I've been buying & using for donkey's years.
Sad to see the end of the line for the Freeview recorders.

It is unusual these days to get such quick, efficient and helpful support from a company.

I was dreading the day that I would be forced to put my 16 year old FOXSA-HDR on the scrap heap. But with the excellent support and advice from Marcus it wasn't the case. The problem was with the remote control which I have now replaced.

I was in complete despair. Six Nations coming up, and a completely malfunctioning Aura recorder. All I had working were Apps and catch-up services - nothing else.
A very competent - and patient - lady called Pauline, worked everything out. After a few attempts, she came up with a solution which completely restored the functionality of the recorder. I was resigned to sending it back for repair, but I can now do everything that I bought it for in the first place.

Very speedy response from Marcus; No expense needed just an alternative access option. Problem solved. No grief

I was pleased to get a Humax set as my old one was worn out. The refurbished one arrived promptly and looked brand new. It is working well except for the subtitle option which requires renewing for each programme.

Very happy with my new HUMAX Freeview Aura. I had my previous model for 10 years which served me well. The new model has superior features obviously but I found the instructions easy to follow and despite not being very technical I was able to get up and running very quickly. The picture/sound quality are both excellent and the remote easy to use. Order from Humax was easy and delivery prompt. Also an initial email exchange with the support team was also quick and helpful. I am very impressed with my new box.

Right now it is going as badly as any bad purchasing experience I have had.
I purchase this reconditioned Aura box over week ago and replaced an old Talktalk box with it. I spent the afternoon setting it up but, using it in the evening, it was obviously faulty.
I phoned the helpline the next day expecting them to offer a replacement. It was not that easy. Over the next few days they expected me to reset it twice and reprogram it again, swop some cables and various other contortions. Now today they do not even answer their phone, so after a week, I do not have a working recorder and no expectation of one. Nightmare.
It also turns out it has never been reconditioned and was sent out without any testing as it why it was rejected in the first place!

Item arrived promptly, easy to set up and working well. Unable to tell that this is a refurbished item rather than new.

After several months having trouble populating the Humax FVP-5000T program guide to show the channel(s) I was after I phoned Humax and Marcus was very helpful.

He followed his explanation by sending me an email with full details of how to proceed. Problem solved!

Now on my third Aura box from Humax. This is the worst product I have bought from them. It is full of bugs, time skip often returns you to the beginning of the recording. Box regularly locks up or screen goes blank for a time. Often recordings won't play from part way through. Continually locks up with the only way out to remove mains plug and restarting. Don't buy if you want a reliable product. Never had any problems with thier earlier Humax boxes
