Very disappointing experience.
Everything was fine until I discovered that the room I had been booked for was not the room I had requested. My Uhomes booking clearly stated “Single Room Ensuite”, and this was also confirmed to me by the Uhomes consultant on WhatsApp. I only discovered the discrepancy when I received the tenancy agreement, which stated “Twin Room Ensuite”.
I would never have booked or signed a contract for a shared room. However, Uhomes treated the situation as a normal cancellation and charged me a €180 cancellation fee, leaving me with only a €400 refund from the €580 I had paid. As of 18 September, I have still received no refund.
What has been most disappointing is the lack of assistance afterwards. My emails have received no response, the consultant who handled my booking stopped responding, and the general support channel is essentially an AI that has not provided a solution.
I am now left having to find alternative accommodation and bear the related additional costs, despite the original booking showing a different room type.
I strongly recommend keeping screenshots and written confirmation of everything when booking through Uhomes.

I received great assistance from Ms. Binh; she helped me find and compare accommodation options and liaised with the housing provider to ensure I secured a comfortable place that met my needs. Furthermore, she helped me communicate clearly via email with the housing provider regarding rent-related matters.

The Grove is a horrible place
The Grove is a horrible place, and if I could put no stars I would. When we moved my daughter there for college, four hours away, we were told the apartment had not been cleaned, and it would be two days before she could move in. Instead, her father and I rented a carpet cleaner, bought cleaning supplies, and cleaned ALL THREE rooms of the NASTY apartment. I literally scraped an entire animal off of the carpet in my daughters room. She dealt with bugs, they sprayed and nothing. The apartments are NOT nice. The staff is worse. I have tried to call a million times, they wont call me back. Or email me back. They are trying to charge my daughter astronomical fees for cleaning upon move out. My daughter is literally OCD. She left that place sparkling. And why are we paying for you to clean for the next tenants when you told us we wouldn't have to because we did the cleaning upon move it. Need help? Live there and need help? Dont try to call, they wont call you back. This was an issue the entire time she lived there.
