Extremely disappointing and frustrating…
Extremely disappointing and frustrating experience with Uhomes
I would not recommend Uhomes based on my experience. I was searching for accommodation for my son and contacted/applied for around 10–12 listings on their platform. Almost every time, I was told that the property was already sold out or unavailable.
Then why are these properties still being advertised on the Uhomes portal?
This is the biggest problem. If a property is no longer available, it should be removed immediately or clearly marked as unavailable. Keeping such listings active wastes customers’ time and creates a completely misleading impression of the actual availability.
What made the experience even worse was that the agent openly told me that they do not remove these listings, even after they are sold out. After wasting considerable time on multiple listings, I was offered alternative properties that were 30–40% more expensive, which were simply outside my budget.
I also have serious concerns about the credibility of the reviews I see online. I cannot independently verify whether other reviews are genuine, so I will not claim that they are fake — but my own experience has made me question the reliability of the information presented on this platform.
For students and parents urgently looking for accommodation, this kind of experience is extremely frustrating. Do not assume that a property shown as available on the website is actually available. Verify everything directly before making any payment or commitment.
Uhomes needs to seriously improve its listing management and stop showing unavailable properties as if they are genuine available options.
Very disappointing experience. I would advise people to be extremely careful and do their own verification before trusting the listings on this platform.
