Easy and straightforward

Was estimated £300+ for my phone, i wrote it was screen damaged otherwise but also had a non iPhone screen. Only got £41 for it which I think is a huge jump. Taken the offer anyway as I don’t think I would have got a better deal elsewhere

This company uses technical language and jargon to make you believe you product is worth less. They claim your phone goes through a 53 point test one of the same one I used to get my phone valued before sending it off, only to be told it's worth less than the lowest valuation I got from another company. This company is less than honest and disappointed, future users of this site lower your expectations to just under 2/3 as that seems standard for dishonesty

This was an easy and simple service. The team at Uberlink have very good communication skills and are very helpful.

Originally offered £200 as non working, sent it for inspection offered £35. Declined and asked to be sent back then offered £65. Declined again and was asked what I wanted for it. Finally had it returned back with original box and accessories missing. Device was sent back in Jiffy bag.

Scammers beware! "Sold" my phone to them nearly a week ago. No money in my bank. I have sent multiple emails and no replies and no answers on the phone either. They have stolen my phone and not paying for it. Please please read reviews which are genuine and sell your device elsewhere. *EDIT* They have since paid out for the phone after receiving the initial negative review. After this experience I would still advise that you look elsewhere to sell your devices.

Phone received back from them with scratches the the screen and the box missing! The phone I sent had a few imperfections but fully worked and the front and back glass was perfect. They said I should get £300+ with a phone that’s fully broken, doesn’t turn on etc so I done that, sent them the nearly perfect phone thinking I would just get the money I was offered but after a long wait they offered £52…. After over a week of back and forth they finally sent the phone back. Then another 10 days for them to actually post it…. I received the phone back with a nice new scratch to the screen… shocking customer service!! Stay clear of these time wasters!

In my opinion, this company operates like a scam.

I sent them an iPad Pro in excellent condition after receiving an initial valuation of £486. I paid £15 to send it via Royal Mail Special Delivery, only for them to take over a week to acknowledge they had even received it.
When they finally inspected the device, they slashed their offer to just £220 - less than half of their original valuation. I rejected the offer and requested my iPad back. Instead of simply returning it, they increased the offer to £275, which I also rejected.

Because I had completely lost trust in the company, I even paid another £15 for a Special Delivery return label to ensure my iPad was returned safely. Before sending it back, they contacted me again asking what price I would accept. I said £460, which was still below their original offer and in line with what other recyclers were offering. They refused.

Once I got my iPad back, I sold it to a reputable high street retailer for £470 cash - proving their drastically reduced offers were completely unreasonable.
Based on my experience, the initial valuation appears to be nothing more than a way to get your device through the door before making a dramatically lower offer. I found the whole process misleading, frustrating, and a complete waste of time and money. I was left £30 out of pocket just in postage.

My advice:
- In my opinion, avoid this company.
- Don't be lured in by the high initial valuation.
- Expect a much lower offer once they have your device.
- Save yourself the time, money, and frustration by using a reputable recycler instead.

Strongly not recommend. Absolute time waste. I declared my phone in the condition they received it and they offered me 4 times lower price than the quoted price. Don’t waste your time dealing with them

This company is a fraud. They offered £315 for my iPad. When they got it, they took a long time to process and then came up with an offer of £30! I rejected the offer, then sent a new one after a few days. I rejected it; they then asked what it would take to get an offer accepted! I asked them to send it back. 3.5 weeks later (after chasing), I got my iPad back! I went to town to an exchange shop and got £280! I would not recommend this company, and I should have checked other comments/reviews! The appropriate body should investigate them as they are con artists!

I should have listened to the reviews! I sent a device that I labelled as faulty - their price was £226, they then changed the offer to £70, as they found faults with it. Yes, it was a faulty device that was sold to you as such meeting your criteria on the website.

They have not sent the phone back despite saying they will and providing a tracking number (which royal mail says is not fulfilled as Uberlink never gave them the device).

Heed the warnings of others, the price they offer even for a faulty device will be significantly less than what they give you.

Overall a fantastic turn around from start to finish I was kept well informed via both calls emails and text updates
every message was instant response as soon as a step was taken the update was sent so I felt very confident it was handled with the upmost care
I would also like to thank the call advisor candy for her kindness and understanding after my first review was not

Terrible services waited like a week for them to test it when the review came in they were lying telling me screen was broke luckily I took videos of phone before I sent the offered a ridiculous amount do not trust 0/10 do not recommend

My partner sent off his brand new iPhone that has never been used to be told the price needs to be dropped. So he asked for it to be returned back to us and it’s been returned with an empty box no phone. Absolutely shocking that any company would treat a customer like this.
