Its very difficult to speak to someone and discuss my requirements. It seems to be computers running things. I live too far away to go to the warehouse. Wa shame, as i was really keen to purchase from this company, but now i am concerned about aftersales as mentioned in another review, and the lack of contact with a human. I will look elsewhere and find human contact.

I want to purchase a veranda from this company but they make it so hard for you to buy from them! The checkout form doesn't allow you to enter a house name - only a house number, but good luck if you want help - i have used their Max Chatbot multiple times through the website and on WhatsApp, i have called the Customer service line multiple times - on one occassion i was on hold for over an hour before i gave up. I've also emailed the problem... radio silence. Is there actually anyone on hand to deal with customer issues? And what happens if something goes wrong with delivery, or the product - i'm not reassured, i think you'd be on your own!

The quality of the products were as great as they looked and the price was unbeatable. Tony sat with us and went through everything in detail and we happily ordered our new glass sliding garden room. We purchased our Veranda from Tuinmaximaal in November 2024. The delivery was seamless, with a friendly driver dropping it off at our home. We didn’t begin assembling it until late January 2025. Based on reviews, we expected the assembly to take a couple of days, depending on size; ours is 7 x 3 meters and quite heavy, so be sure to have enough help on hand.

From the moment we unpacked it, the quality was evident. Our professional builder friend, who assisted with the assembly, was impressed with both the craftsmanship and the price. The fit was perfect, and all parts were included. Afterward, my husband asked if I could contact customer service for some extra screws. I did, and they were incredibly friendly. A few days later, we received the screws, a handwritten card, and a bar of chocolate—a thoughtful gesture that still makes me smile, even 10 months later.

I had planned to leave a positive review before experiencing such great after-sales service, but now I’m even more eager to share. Ten months later, we're still thrilled with our purchase. If you're considering buying from Tuinmaximaal, rest assured you’re in good hands. It’s been a long time since we’ve had such pleasant service from a retailer.

I originally contacted Optimal Shading Ltd for a veranda. I appreciate that Tuinmaximaal offers good-quality, affordable products, and since I wasn’t confident installing it myself, I chose a recommended installer. However, the experience was disappointing.
The £250 non-refundable survey mostly repeated measurements I already had, and didn’t feel worth the cost. The long discussion that followed pushed a very expensive “complete solution” with a raised decking base, far beyond my budget.

Later, I learned a concrete patio works perfectly well, at much lower cost. When I tried to discuss doing the patio separately, the communication felt quite aggressive. I was asked technical questions I couldn’t answer, and my plan was repeatedly called “not complete,” while much more expensive options like CUBE6 and a Steel Paving Subframe were presented as the only proper choices.

Being told another paid visit (£120) was needed felt unreasonable. I didn’t feel listened to and decided not to continue. If your budget isn’t high, I would not recommend this company.

I am so happy with the process of ordering the veranda to the delivery, the ordering was so easy and I was updated with the delivery schedule.

I am so pleased with the veranda purchased from this company, the quality and how is made is very impressive. I would highly recommend this item.

Its a great website but could be easier as it is easy to make a mistake when order elemental parts as I did and ordered some incorrect U channels. Then when trying to resolve the problem I was told to wait for the Service department to get back to me.....which they never did, so I left a note on the Facebook page at which point I received an apology and explanation that for some I.T. issue my messages had gone astray - since then Tuinmaximaal have refunded me the cost of the incorrect parts that I ordered and told me to dispense with them as I want so fair play, they fixed the issue and sorted things out for me so a big 'Thank you' to Tuinmaximaal for putting the issue right for me and as for the product - the sliding doors that I purchased they look fantastic in my hallway and I would reccomend anyone who needs the systems they offer, to buy from Tuinmaximaal.

We had been looking for a solution for our patio for some time, given it needs to be in a corner and around soil pipes etc. We contacted one of the fitters on the recommended list, Optimal Shading, and they advised us through the whole process of what to buy and then did a brilliant job of the fitting. We couldn't be happier with the product and process throughout. Thank you for a stress free and beautiful solution.

Order and delivery all went very smoothly. The materials arrived on time as communicated and nothing was damaged.
Costin from Optimal Shading Ltd advised through the whole process and completed the installation without any problems and was kind enough to take a break on the second day when no one could be home. The initial experience was great — very responsive when preparing the quotation.
However, it turned into a nightmare after the payment was made. Communication dropped significantly, with little to no response after I placed the order. No one provided accurate information about the delivery date, despite my repeated attempts to follow up. I’ve called more than 10 times over the past four weeks since placing the order — absolutely ridiculous. Just keep telling you that they're extremely busy. Thats it!

Brought a set of 4 sliding doors to replace a canvas cover on the front of a hand built garden room. They fitted perfectly and we are so happy with them..wish we done this years before!! The delivery driver was brilliant, very friendly and drove from Holland.

Really great product. Even the builders who built it praised the quality and easy of putting together as everything lines up perfectly.
Quality is very good and looks wonderful when installed. The motorized blinds and spot lights a fantastic and everything is of solid quality.

Beautiful product, a very well designed modular building with a very flexible system of parts to get exactly what we required. An excellent team of support staff. We are very pleased with the result and when our neighbour saw the veranda he has now ordered one too which speaks for itself.

Delivery and packaging were excellent. Installation instructions were very clear and easy to to follow. Very good value for money.

My order had a box missing and i am still waiting for it.
It has caused so issues with the people i arranged to install it.

The installation information was very good. To have the instruction manual and a video available was invaluable. There was good communication from them, from when the order was placed to delivery. Good information about delivery times and dates. The only issue was I did not get the call from the driver to inform me of when they would arrive to deliver, which meant I was not there when to receive it. That did cause a problem for moving the pallet to where I needed it. Quality of the product is very good. Overall I am very happy with the service and the product.

The website is easy to use and the ordering process went smoothly. The communication was good and the veranda was delivered on time, as planned.
The 6m wide x 3.5m deep veranda frame was easy to build, mostly on my own with a Genie lift but with a second person to help lift the heavy front beam onto the Genie lift and to hold parts together while I fixed them.
Installing the glass was a difficult, the panes are very heavy and have to be lifted on edge as they can't support their own weight if lifted flat. On edge it only just fits, diagonally, through the gaps in the frame.
It took 5 of us with the Genie lift to get the glass in place and it was quite stressful.
The parts of the veranda are very well and accurately made and fit together without any problems. The finish on the metalwork seems hardwearing.
We are very pleased with the finished product, it looks great and is very solid. It is a very useful addition to our home.
