TruGreen - Harrington Arvostelua 4

I have raised an issue repeatedly with all service tech who have visited since May. Basically, my entire grass area was overrun with weeds after 9 months of service. I got a follow-up call in June and was promised a visit by a manager; that never happened. Maybe 2 other phone calls happened but there was never a communication from management about a remediation plan. Finally, about 2 weeks ago there was a crew here to seed and aerate. They basically threw seed down and then said that the machine was too heavy to access the grass.

My yard is completely brown at this point with wire grass growing rampant as maybe the only green grass. The service provided zero value and the failure to follow-up on promised actions makes Tru-Green the worst service I have ever seen in my 30 years of home ownership across 8 different homes.

Your reply asking for an email is ridiculous. I have communicated multiple times and you failed to respond. This is clearly an attempt to limit the damage of my honesty rather than a genuine attempt at remediation. All show!

After 6 and a half seasons TG is nothing more than scam artist, they take your money and provide poor service. I still have tons of weeds and my lawn looks like crap.

If I could give True Green a -0 I would on the rating scale. I have had the worst customer service of any company I have dealt with since moving to Delaware in 2020. Signed up for the mosquito and outdoor pest spray and was immediately put on the calendar for later in the week. Got notification of their arrival window and the technician said he was here and never actually arrived to spray. Even received text message my service was completed... my credit card then billed. Called them later that evening and there was no note from the technician only that my service was completed on that day. Mind you I was home the entire day waiting for the tech to show up. My Issue escalated to the local branch in DE, no call from the Manager. Following week, no call from the Manager still on Monday, so I then called the main True Green number only to be told I was scheduled for a reservice for that Thursday, Thursday came and went and nothing from True Green. Called again the following day, STILL NOT ON THE SCHEDULE after being told I WAS ON THE SCHEDULE. WOW True Green way to treat your new customers who actually get charged for a service that was never performed and telling your new client her service was completed when that was completely false. The main TRUE GREEN offices continued to apologize for something out of their control and making excuses for the local office, when all the technician had to do was call me to tell me that he could not make it to my appointment that day I was scheduled and get me rescheduled asap. All of this was requested in time for my big BBQ where my out of town guests are coming to what is now a yard full of mosquitoes and Delaware biting flies. WHAT A WINNER! NOT!

I spoke to a local rep in regards to my lawn. The rep informed me that a tech would come out and take soil samples. After the samples were taken we could sit down and build a plan custom to my lawn! Sounds great! I was told the tech would arrive a few days later on a specific date. After clearing my schedule to meet with the tech, the tech never showed! No phone call or alert informing me that “they decided to reschedule”. This happened three different times back to back. A month and a half later, they decided to show up for 20 min without informing me they were even there. Tech said he treated my 2 acres in 20min???? Wait… What happen to the soil testing? I couldn’t tell you what he put down, but I can tell you that my services were canceled after the 3rd no show. After calling and expressing my frustration with their billing department, they assured me that I would not be charged for whatever it was that they did and verified that my services were canceled. 2 days later at 1:30am I get an alert from my bank that TruGreen charged my debit card for $500.00!!!! How is this even possible?!! This company is a scam! Do yourself and your community a favor
And find a good local business to support, because these jokers a.k.a (TruGreen) are killing grass and stealing cash!
