Disappointing Sales Experience, but Excellent Support from Ben and a More Positive Outcome
I originally left a much more critical review of True Network Solutions following a very disappointing experience with the sales process and the mobile contracts we signed on 5 October 2026.
I have now decided to increase my rating to 3 stars, primarily because of the genuine effort made by our advisor, Ben, to help resolve the situation.
My original concerns remain valid. I initially submitted an enquiry through what appeared to be a mobile comparison website, followed by approximately three weeks of persistent sales calls and emails.
We were offered what was described as an EE business mobile service, but it was not sufficiently clear that our actual contract would be with plan.com rather than EE directly. We subsequently discovered the implications of this arrangement, including a 36-month commitment and potentially substantial early termination charges.
Unfortunately, we experienced serious network problems almost immediately, which I reported on 11 October.
However, I want to give credit where it is genuinely deserved.
Throughout this frustrating experience, Ben at True Network Solutions has remained responsive, approachable and genuinely committed to finding a workable solution. Rather than simply disappearing after the sale, he has continued communicating with us and exploring alternatives.
I have since purchased a new phone, which is working very well on the network. Ben has also managed to find a deal for a new phone for my husband, with an overall cost that is pretty much in line with current market prices.
I particularly appreciate that Ben has made a real effort to find a practical solution rather than simply referring us back to the contractual terms. His attitude and willingness to help have made a significant difference to my overall impression of the company.
My advice to other small business owners remains very important:
Before signing a lengthy business mobile agreement through plan.com or any similar provider, buy a Pay As You Go SIM from the actual mobile network being offered and test it thoroughly first.
Test calls, mobile data, indoor coverage and connectivity in the locations where you regularly work and travel. Do not assume that a network will perform equally well on every device or in every location.
A small investment in a PAYG SIM could save you from committing to a 36-month agreement for a service that may not meet your needs.
Also, make sure you understand exactly who your contractual provider is, what the termination charges are and what options you have if the service proves unreliable.

Why 3 stars rather than 5?

Because although Ben's customer service deserves genuine recognition, I still believe the initial sales process and the transparency surrounding the contractual arrangements need significant improvement.
Nevertheless, I believe in giving credit when someone makes a genuine effort to put things right, and Ben has certainly done that.
Thank you, Ben, for your patience, persistence and willingness to help. Your support is the main reason I have reconsidered my original rating.

True Network Solutions have been brilliant from start to finish. Russell made our contract swap completely seamless — he handled everything, kept us updated, and made the whole process hassle‑free. Efficient, friendly, and genuinely easy to deal with. Highly recommend.

I haven’t changed network provider for years and had some trepidations, but Carly listened to my needs, proposed a package that exceeded my needs for a very decent price, and guided me through the process of switching my company over, seeing it through to a successful conclusion. Rate to have such personal and thoughtful service these days.

I can honestly say that Russell and the team at True Network Solutions have provided the best service I've ever received from any company.

Russell has been professional, knowledgeable, responsive, and always willing to go the extra mile to help. Nothing has ever been too much trouble, and the level of customer service has been outstanding from start to finish.

Russell is a true asset to the company, and it's rare to come across someone so dedicated to delivering an excellent customer experience.

I would highly recommend True Network Solutions to anyone looking for reliable, professional support. Keep up the excellent work!

Absolutely appalling service- Don`t use!!!!

After swapping from Tesco 02 to the recommended EE business contract in March, today I still have a phone with no service!
I have been promised I would be moved back to 02 after the EE service was not working consistently and now have nothing at all unless stood by my home hub! I am a week into waiting- the safety of myself and clients being compromised when rehabilitating high drive rescue dogs, and costing my business in everyway after lost workshops and classes due to lack of communication!
I have asked to terminate the contract as never been fully able to use my business phone and being told I can`t!!! Avoid at all costs!

Brilliant hassle free service sorting my new business phone contract out and cheaper than i could get it direct with the companies,Carly was very helpful and kept me upto date with it all the way through.Thanks for the good service.
