The process each time I have tried to activate a new card is very painful. It has never worked properly for me. However Rochelle was fantastic to deal with, even stayed late after bus hrs to try and resolve. Finally she was able to get it working.

I paid for this card at a water park, had to get it by sitting in on a offer on timeshares! Card don't work and when I went back to the timeshares place, they were closed down. Don't trust these people they are scammers. And now I have to call around to start a law suite because they have done this to far to many people

It is total scam. Got a $150 prepaid card from Bell. Went through many attempts to get the card activated, just to figure out that the card cannot be used anywhere.
bell.ca, bestbuy.ca, amazon.ca, grocery stores, all no luck.
I will give it zero star if possible.

I've been sent two cards from Virgin Plus for setting my internet up with them. The first card never worked, they sent me a new one, and that card "could not be activated". Don't bother calling their customer service, call Virgin and complain and demand they credit you your $50. This whole thing seems like a giant scam. I was re-directed to SO many phone numbers, I spent 2 hours on the phone between all of the re-directions. Save yourself the time, call Virgin and tell them to fix the issue directly. Such horseshit. They likely use that promotion knowing no one has the time and energy to do all the work it takes to actually get your $50.

We had our cards as part of the MTL'Table promotion when staying in Montreal (Tourisme Montreal Prepaid cards). As with the other reviews about the website, we were unable to register the card - the web site is useless. However when we rang the help line, (we had to wait 30 mins to be answered), the lady was so helpful - she took down all the card numbers and activated them for us. The helpline is only open 9-5 Mon-Fri, which is not ideal, and the web site needs sorting out! However the lady who helped us was excellent.

I would rate ZERO stars if I could. Doesn’t work anywhere. Such a joke I hope people aren’t investing in this company.

So far so bad...been trying to get through to the phone number on the card for hours! They ask you to leave a number for a call back...I don't believe it will ever happen. We got this card as a gift from our hotel. Its pretty much useless to me if I can't get through to activate it. I stayed on hold for 5 minutes the first time them they hung up, second time 7 minutes. After that I left a message on the "General " voice mailbox which I'm almost sure nobody bothers to check...don't give this card to anyone. I'll be giving it back to the folks at the front desk.

I received a 25$ gift card from my work. They did not give me an activation code, they told me that they should work already. They don't. So I tried to register it. The website has been down for literally four days, and it seems like it has been down for months (?). This is rediculous. We called the phone line, after waiting for three days since I received this on Friday. You close on the weekends. I have never ever had a gift card company "close!" Okay whatever! So we waited! Called today. Literally as you opened. We were put on hold for 20 minutes only to be told by the lady that #1 just wait for the website. We did
For three days. She said I need to login with the activation code as my password. I don't have that. She took my name and number and told me that she would be able to help me find it out. It's been six hours and nothing. Your phone line literally says "activation in minutes over the phone!" So why has it taken over six hours to not get a call back? Can I just have my money? This is a disgusting practice, you have no right to give people the run around with their own earned money. Some people need their money, shocker I know. This money was supposed to save me this week, a kind gesture from the work and now I'm still wiping my butt with stolen work paper. I literally don't know what to do anymore. How are you getting away with scamming such a large company? My region even thinks that this IS a scam. The POLICE think this is a scam! Google the phrase "Rocky Harbour RCMP warns the public of new scam involving a pre-paid Visa card". Someone we're familiar with will show up.
This is YOUR COMPANY. This paper is directing people to YOUR PHONE LINE and YOUR WEBSITE.

What in the lord's name is going on here?

I wish there was a way to give TruCash “ZERO stars” for their false and fake app and service. No one answers 800- 624-6171, to assist with activation and the app states it has funds and it does not work. TruCash and the “Time share” that refunded me “MY $50” for attending their class are a bunch of rats, who steal money from families with their lies and “money stealing schemes..” and honestly to be doing this to people during a pandemic, is even worse. By far the worst and most pathetic rats I have ever come across. TruCash is Trash!!! And so are the people that use their fake services to refund money to innocent people.

A great customer service experience is when your problem was resolved. My expectation was greatly surpassed. I get a prompt response as I got unto the chat, and the responses were very promt as well. The information provided was very virtal in helping me better use of my card and the funds on it. Thank you Trucash for always providing an exceptional service. While at the ATM the rep (Melanie) stayed with me to ensure my issue was resolved and I was able to withdraw my cash with no issues after speaking with Melanie. Thank you Mel.

I finally was able to use the remaining balance on my card. I had to call trucash the day i wanted to use the card so they could activate it.

I literally cannot even get this prepaid card activated. Their website doesn't work, and cards require being activated on that website. I've tried multiple days in a row, and it keeps coming up saying they are down for maintenance and to try again in 10 minutes. There is no date set stating when the website will be back up... Is this company a scam? Cause if so, how did a large cigarette company get involved with them?

This card is bs I $50 at Splashtown and the told me when I go I would get my $50 back they gave me this card and said it’s on there the card number isn’t working can’t get in touch with no one

I was given a TruCash prepaid Visa by Tbooth Wireless as an upgrade credit through Bell.
The card is declined everytime i try to use it.
I am able to check the balance, but every attempt to call has ended with me leaving my number for a call back, as they are "experiencing higher than normal call volumes". One time i waited an hour and still didnt get through. 3 times i have left my number for a return call, and noone has called me back.
Worst customer service ever. Any business thinking of dealing with TruCash should think twice.
