Scam. Orderd and paid for taxis which never showeed up.

Booked a taxi and it didnt turn up. We were stuck in the middle of nowhere (2 ladies of a certain age) after half an hour waiting we rang and they said they had no one available even though it said confirmed online. Wouldnt use this method again and had a much better experience with a local taxi firm in the end.

Booked a taxi on a Sunday afternoon for the same day. paid just under 50 Pounds and realized the booking was for the next day.

I quickly cancelled my trip and requested a refund only to be told that I will not be getting any of my money back.

Steer clear from these guys.

If I could give zero stars, I would. We were left in an extremely vulnerable and unsafe situation — stranded in cold conditions, with low phone batteries and no sign of the taxi we booked. This is completely unacceptable and shows a total lack of responsibility or care for customer safety.

Absolutely avoid.

I tried to book a journey through them for a wedding in the middle of nowhere (having not seen the reviews here beforehand). They brazenly lie about the availability of their taxis and insist that these reviews are all false. I called them to ensure that they would be sourcing a taxi prior to the 24h notice they would normally provide (as I was worried about alternative availibility). They promised me ("100%") that it would be confirmed within 24h, when this was exceeded they pretended that conversation never happened. So now I will have to fight for an actual refund (especially considering that they had done no work to actually get me a taxi).

I was deeply disappointed with my experience on this occasion. I had never used Trip Taxi before and decided to try them for a wedding me and my friends were attending in the Lake District. The booking process was simple, but I was worried as it was a remote location, I wanted to ensure there would be no issues with getting to the wedding. When I didn't receive a confirmation notification, I called Trip taxi to check and they confirmed that a driver had been allocated and sent the required email confirmation. We were due to be collected at 1pm, and as it was approaching 1:10, I called Trip Taxi to
check on the status of the journey. It was only as that stage that the told be the provider had cancelled and there was no way they could get us until 14:15 - the ceremony started at 2pm. The apology offered seemed very half-hearted and took no responsibility, especially given the lack of communication prior, meaning I had to chase. We had to persuade the owner of our accommodation, who kindly gave us a lift, or we would have missed the ceremony. I was told my refund would be processed in 4-5 working days, so I'm currently still awaiting the same. My friends and I were highly unimpressed with the level of service we received. We were worried that the same would happen on the way back, after the wedding when we were to be collected at midnight. I called and stressed that we must have confirmation by way of driver and vehicle prior to collection, and I didn't trust their service after the outbound journey. I was told I would receive this confirmation within around 1 hour. I called some 5 hours later and they once again assured me that arrangements had been made, but did not receive any written confirmation. Come midnight, once again, there was no vehicle and my friends and I waited outside in the cold and dark, being told there was another last minute cancellation. To say we were tired and frustrated in an understatement. We were in the midst of talking to the bride and groom about finding space to crash on sofas at the venue, when I received a call from a Gett driver, who said he had received a last minute notification to assist. We were relieved to have some way back - but overall I wish I read these other negative reviews before trusting Trip taxis!

Booked a taxi. They couldn't confirm it would actually turn up. so I cancelled the booking (within just a few hours). They stole 90% of the total fee and did not care at all about my arguments. Just constantly referred to the 'small print'. Don't fall for this scam. They will not provide a service and simply exist to scam honest people. Abhorrent.

Absolutely shocking, defaulted booking to the next day. Charged £10 to change it. Taxi arrived 90 mins late, passed pillar to post. Left two elderly ladies stood outside. Do not go near these cowboys.

This company is a scam - defaulted my booking to the next day, then when we noticed and tried to change they started being cagey and couldn't change it. They have charged me in full and refuse to refund despite having tried to change immediately.

Definitely a scam. I paid for a taxi at specific time but the site defaulted back to midday the next day. I reported the error immediately but they took my money because you can't cancel within 24 hours. I will claim back via the bank. Avoid at all costs.

This company is a scam. They take payment and cancel the trip and never give you a refund. DO NOT USE!

We went over to our cousins for dinner. I was gonna drink everyone. But as it got going I had a few drinks and had to order a cab. This was around 8pm so I got one from trip taxis for an 11.30 pickup. Cost me a lot and they took the money. At 11.10 I checked the status of the booking and found it had been cancelled. I wasn’t sent a message or anything. So we had to call around and get a local company way later long after the party was over and some people had gone to bed. They did refund the money so it’s not a scam, but I wouldn’t trust them again.

Booked, paid and cancelled last minute absolutely discussing

Trip taxis are a complete scam. I booked a taxi a week ahead of time and paid for it in advance. The day before it was due, they cancelled the booking themselves and have said they will refund me as per their cancellation policy, which means I’ll receive 10% of my money back. I still haven’t received even this small sum. DO NOT USE.

Ze zijn helemaal niet komen opdagen!!! Heb vooraf een taxi gereserveerd van hotel naar ABBA arena. Meer als €100,- betaald voor een retour transfer !!!! Fraude en oplichting!!!!

SCAM. Please do not use. I realised after I booked it that it was dodgy and then ditched it and when it came to the time it was meant to come, I got a message saying that “there are no available drivers” so it will leave you stranded. Please do not use

A total scam, run by people with zero conscience. AVOID!!

Do you not use this company, they will try and rip you off and when you cancel the job they only give you a part refund. I basically booked a job with them which they tried to charge me £47 to take me 6 miles. When I cancelled the job they charged me £11 cancellation charges! I have now just checked my statement and the scumbags have only refunded me £4.70 so i am in the process of getting the other £31.30 refunded back to me…. **** AVOID AT ALL COSTS *****

Never use this company. They left me stranded in the middle of no where an hour before I was expecting the taxi. They only notified me by email. They claim that they will get you an alternative. They didn’t. I had to get the manager of the restaurant to take me home because there was no way I could get a taxi. Disgrace.

It’s a scam. On their website, they have 4 stars and over 15k customer reviews listed. So, I called them to ask about it. They kept me waiting for 5 minutes only to tell me that they have multiple websites and that the reviews are a combination of them but i didnt found nothing
