Horrible after sale service
The way Tribal Chimp advertised the Buy 3 Get 3 bundle is very misleading, i thought it was buy 3 hair styling powder get 3 hair styling powder + Free 2 hair styling powder and comb (different font colour). Purchased the bundle on 7th of May, tracked the parcel on 16th of May and noticed it was still in US. For 9 days it sat idle, so i sent an e-mail to customer support for more information about the delay on 16th of May. Spoke to Mariana, she said UPS only handle the domestic side and DaiPost will complete the international part. She said the package has arrived in Australia and waiting to clear customs on 17th of May but according to tracking it arrived on 20th of May. I have been asking for an explanation for the 9 day delay but Mariana and then Marissa just ignored the question. Given the misleading advertisement, delay, bad customer service i will not be buying from this company again.

We’re sorry to hear you feel this way, but we want to clarify a few points:
First, it’s not accurate to say there was a lack of communication. Our team responded to every email you sent, provided updates as soon as we had them, and clearly explained that we rely on UPS and Dai Post. Once your parcel left our facility, we relied on the carrier, just as any merchant would, and we even contacted them on your behalf to get answers. Our team passed along exactly what they shared with us, including the update that it had arrived in Australia and was awaiting customs clearance.
Regarding the delay: we understand your frustration, but again, this was entirely within the carrier’s domain. Your order was processed and shipped on time from our end. Delays at customs or during international handoffs, while unfortunate, are not something we can control, though we did our best to assist throughout.
On the bundle: the items included are listed on the product page, and we’ve never claimed the free items were all styling powders. We’ve designed the page to show all components visually, and while the layout may have caused confusion, there was no intent to mislead.
We respect your decision, but we stand by the support and service we provided.

Locked in subscription
Product is good. But, I really feel like I got into a subscription accidentally, and when going to manage the subscription, it’s nearly impossible to do so. The site has no clear manage subscription link. When you log in, there is no clear manage subscription option, as the order management is on Shopify’s system.
I want to think generously that this is some type of oversight, but I think it’s to keep you locked in. I emailed their support - but subscriptions should be as easy to manage as to sign up for.

Great products and great customer service. My only issue and why I knocked of a star is because I found it difficult to locate subscription management via their website. I believe they could make it easier to mange your subscription.

I ordered this, not knowing if it would help me style my hair the way I usually do.
It’s amazing that you sprinkle a little bit in the palm of your hand or on your head, and work it through and it makes your hair feel so full. I can see where it works well for the men.
If I just brush my hair straight back, it would work, but I like to separate and piece into sections. .
I wrote the company and they were excellent about returning my email within the day. They helped me solve my problem, they recommended the paste for me
Very good company to work with. And I look forward to trying their paste.!

Small small size
Although it works ok. The bottle last you like 6 uses. It’s 0.35 oz. The bottle fits in my palm. Deff sell you in the amount and you get bluffed by the actual amount that comes in it.

Amazing product from awesome company
Amazing! Start to finish it’s been a great experience. Ordering was smooth and easy, shipping was prompt and as promised, and support has been helpful and responsive.
The product itself is amazing too! I have thin hair and have always struggled to find a product that shaped my hair without weighing it down. Finally found Tribal Chimp and will never need another styling product! It’s super easy to use, and holds my hair to the end of the day. Bonus points for not having to blow dry my hair (I just let it air dry) and for not having to get my hands all greasy nasty from pomades or other products.

Swinging To All The Right Places.
At first I thought the chocolate covered strawberries and the champagne was a bit much, but it made me realize that I am valued as a customer! When the stylist arrived with the product to style my hair I knew that I was in the midst of the best customer service ever. Praise the chimp! No one is monkeying around here! If you do not go bananas for these products, and life changing customer service then you need to be more open minded and appealing.

To end this review on a serious note I will state that a few thing's I mentioned in my initial review did not necessarily happen. I will say that all the products I have tried from Tribal Chimp are FANTASTIC! They live up to the hype, plus they make my hair look amazing. The price is great, and I appreciate the product quality. I ordered for 50CHF and they wrote 117CHF on the bill which lead to 30CHF in customs to be charged at the arrival. They didn't answer any emails about it, nothing. There is no customer service, it is outrageous.
The product is ok but not as impressive as in video.
Update: I have received a refund for the inappropriate customs taxes, so case resolved, they do have a good customer service after all but would have been easier if they had answered the first time.

Customer service
The service here is better than I've gotten anywhere else. I made a mistake on my order and tried to cancel and reorder what I wanted. Instead within 2 hours I received an email from Marisa and she had fixed my order, applied my discount that I forgot to add and sent me the eight right order. FANTASTIC!!!

Package was lost at post office and...
Package was lost at post office and I let Tribal Chimp know right away, they quickly wrote to me and said if post office did not find it they would replace, that was very assuring. It took less than a week but the post office found it, and I notified Tribal Chimp no need to replace. They wrote back again very quickly, and thanked me for letting them know. The customer service was great all the way through the incident. Thank you Tribal Chimp-please keep up good customer service 5 stars!
