This is the perfect size when I need to pack for a week. It’s a beautiful and classy piece.

Solidly built bag. Just took it on its first trip last week - lots of space, well organized pockets. Any time you find yourself going, with any other bag, "man, it'd be nice if I had so-and-so over here", well, this bag has it. Smart, smart design.

Sturdy zippers help it squish down tons of heavy (winter!) clothes. Spinner wheels truly feel 360 - I could push this thing anywhere in the airport, weave around oncoming passengers, you name it. Feels solidly built - you can chuck it around, good heavy handles on side and top so you can carry it down crowded aisles or yank it off a luggage carousel. I'm sure the baggage porters were straight-up throwing it to each other on the runway.

My TravelPro Suiter experienced a cracked wheel. Reached out to their customer service in November, filled out their online form etc. Got an email asking for more info. Provided it. Nothing…. So emailed again to follow up. Nothing….. While the bag has served me well, in general, everything was fine… until it wasn’t. Then you discover the warranty is primarily ink (or electrons) and customer service - no follow through.

Update 2/24/26 - TravelPro reached out to me through this platform and sent me a new suitcase. No charge for shipping. So changed from (1) star to 3, the reason not more additional stars was because it took so much effort on my part and finally posting on here to have them finally live up to the warranty. The new unit seems less substantial than my old one. We’ll see how it holds up in the field. Appreciate that they stepped up.

Overall great quality of products. Never had an issue with costumer service. Getting some frequent use of my luggage and they are holding true to its quality.

smaller than expecting, don't like the zippers. will not be able to use for travel too small. can't return since it was a final sale, otherwise I would have returned it.

I bought the first blue camo suitcase from Travelpro.. then I liked it so well I ordered the rolling tote. It was great too.., then I thought I need a bag I can carry on top of the rolling tote bag… so I bought the nice zippered tote too. They all go so well together… the 2 Navy blue bags match perfectly with the Camo suitcase. And the zippered tote bag has a sleeve that slides right onto the handle of the tote ! Very happy with my purchases!

Luggage is so well made, plus it looks great. Have used Travelpro luggage for a while and I love it. Wouldn’t consider using anything else.

The dimensions of the carry-on product I received are significantly different than what they described on their website. This may lead to the product being rejected at the gate and having to check it at a substantial cost and inconvenience. The support agent tried to pass it off that the website just informs you of the size it should be to pass requirements for majority of airlines. This was just an attempt to make it my fault for misunderstanding. I went back to the product description, copied and pasted it but there was still no acknowledgement. I went to the return and exchange portal but it can't find my order. Had to get back on with the AI concierge. I waited 35 minuted for a support agent to help with the return. Had to give up, no support agent joined the chat. What a nightmare. Don't order anything from this company

Travelpro UK delete customer reviews left on their website. I assume this happens in the USA. Do not trust this company!

TravelPro does not honor its warranty

We bought three suitcases from TravelPro two years ago. We liked the warranty. When one of the handles broke, (won't retract all the way so you can't stow in the overhead compartment on airplanes), I sent photos, filled out a complaint form and was rejected because they no longer carry the parts after two years. My issue is the extension handle doesn't work. This is covered by a ten year warranty per my tag. I also registered the suitcase when I bought it.

Here is what they wrote me: "Unfortunately after further review, we do not have the required parts available for repair. Once a collection line has stopped production, replacement parts may be stored only 1-2 years after. Please note, normal wear and tear is not considered a manufacturer nor material defect.

We still will like to make things right. As a loyal customer, we will offer you a 15% discount on any new Travelpro® product listed on Travelpro.com.

TRAVELPRO® LIMITED WARRANTY
The Travelpro® Limited Warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship but does not cover wear and tear from normal use or damage caused by abuse, mishandling, accidental damage, inappropriate selection, or carelessness caused by an airline or other common carrier. Damages caused by such airline or other common carrier should be directly reported to and claims be filed with the specific airline or company carrier. During the course of original ownership and normal usage, your luggage/product may suffer abrasions, minor cuts, scratches, dents or soil. Certain component parts such as wheels, bumper feet, leather, etc., will show wear. This wear is not covered under the warranty. Limited Warranty covers manufacturer defects only.

What is Covered by this Limited Warranty
An "active" limited warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship that negatively impact the functional performance of the product, including:
Wheels that break off or are otherwise no longer usable outside of normal wear and tear
Zippers that break or can no longer operate correctly outside of normal wear and tear
Extension handles that break off or are otherwise no longer usable
Top & Side carrying handles that tear or break off outside of normal wear and tear
What is Not Covered by this Limited Warranty
This limited warranty does not cover:
Normal wear and tear.
Outside/Inside damages such as but not limited to: fabric abrasions, cuts, scratches, dents or stains that do not impair the functional performance of the product.
Damage from abuse, mishandling or accidents or damage caused by an airline, train service, cruise ship or other common carrier.
Incidental or consequential damage, including loss of contents, loss of use or time or similar expenses beyond the control of Travelpro."

I expected something a notch up from the usual as the producer positions and portrays themselves as specialists in such products with an edge above the others. I purchased the Maxlite 5 expandable… for the price they ask, it’s pretty average quality.
The tapered design to prevent tipping over? Mine tips over constantly, in fact ever more often than the cheaper 2-wheel Roncato was previously using.
That’s the biggest annoyance so far.
Also, the collapsible handle? It collapses. All it takes is a brisk walk on the pavement and a bit of uneven surface, slips down right away.
I would say, grossly overestimated in the marketing material.
I did wonder, what’s with the perennial discount if this is such hot sh*t?
Also, I wanted an invoice but their website said „unable to process details”… but then during payment my firm details appeared anyway so I went ahead with the purchase.
But then no invoice was later issued.
Funny thing, Amazon didn’t allow me to post a review. Theynonly legitimate looking place was their own website, where the reviews are mostly positive.

Wish I found this site before I made a purchase – if you see this, buy your luggage elsewhere!!

I purchased my first-ever luggage from TravelPro in December for a flight after seeing a lot of positive reviews online. Spent HUNDREDS of dollars (against my loved ones' recommendations since they claimed it would be a waste of money) and the zipper BROKE off after one flight. Thankfully, I had registered my product for the warranty & thought they'd be able to send me a replacement part for free per their website since I had owned the luggage for 3 weeks at this point. WRONG!!!!! Not only is their customer service agent (Marvin) completely unhelpful, after a string of 10 emails he tells me they will happily ship me the replacement ZIPPER if I pay a shipping charge of $16.58.... for a zipper that the agent previously mentioned they don't have the correct color for with no knowledge (or care to find out) when the correct color will be in stock.

I could have bought some Amazon branded luggage for 1/4 the cost that would have come with better accessories, but I foolishly was under the impression that this was a quality brand and an investment. Their products are cheap, the company is stingy, and the customer service team doesn't care about you enough to help. My cheap amazon carry-on has lasted for 3 years without issue – big lesson learned!

Update from previous experience.

They still do not stand by their warranty. They will take any opportunity to pull one over on you. I got one bag replaced in black (for a $50 shipping fee that somehow has taxes on it and a $0 shipping cost). I had a 3 piece matching set (all of which has different issues after 4 years but all unusable at this point and I only put in replacement tickets for 2, changing to a Briggs and Riley bag for my carry on solely because of their reviews and customer support team). They would not allow me to do one ticket for both bags. As I had a matching set for the last 4 years I wanted both bags to match each other. They would only offer me one bag that did not match the same line. Then flat out lied that the matching bag to the other replacement was out of stock in the matching color. So I sent them the link to the matching bag in the medium size in black on their website. Then they said they’d do a one time exception (same $50 shipping with $0 shipping cost and taxes on the shipping). When I get the invoice it doesn’t mention the color or name of the bag as the other invoice showed only the SKU number. I then follow up to have them add that to the invoice and they mention that this would be for the same style as the other replacement in Violet. Now I’m at a standstill because they just keep saying that the bag has been ordered (it hasn’t because I haven’t paid for anything) and they can’t change anything (they can as this was the same step I was at before with the other style bag on this same ticket). I cannot express how awful this experience has been. It feels like you have to be a lawyer and read the fine print on anything they send you.

Measurement details were accurate, color selection was broad, and checkout was easy. Luggage arrived timely and handled travel through airports fairly well with minimal scuffs from baggage handlers. Solid build and plenty if space.

Love the packing space for the drop bottom carry on. Can pack toiletries small fan neck pillow and 2days of clothes. Only wish it had wheels as it gets heavy to carry through the airport to the gate.

Platinum Elite Hardside arrived damaged. Traveler customer service replaced the bag as I requested.

The luggage was beautiful. Shipping was not super fast, but it was good enough (and free!). Ultimately, I ordered 5 pieces, but had to return one due to a defective zipper. There was a little glitch going on with the Travelpro website (or possibly user error), so I called customer service. It was a big waste of time. I tried the website again and it worked like a charm. I will shop Travelpro again if I need high quality products.
