Excellent course with excellent staff

Trades Training School offers decent courses for those looking to gain new skills or switch careers. Both the plumbing and tiling courses provide hands-on experience, which is helpful for beginners. The instructors are knowledgeable, and there's a supportive environment throughout the learning process. However, while some aspects are commendable, it may not entirely justify the cost for everyone. Overall, it's a solid option to consider if you're looking to venture into trades but manage your expectations.

If you are looking for career change and getting some new skills I couldn’t recommend this school more enough. I’ve had an amazing support after finishing the course while working on my own. Worth every penny.

I recently completed the tiling course at Trades Training, and I can’t recommend it enough! When I started, I had zero experience in tiling or the construction industry, and now, I have the confidence and skills to run my own tiling business. The instructors were incredibly knowledgeable and supportive throughout the entire process, ensuring that even someone with no background like myself could grasp all the essential techniques.

The hands-on approach was exactly what I needed, and they covered everything from basic tile cutting and fitting to more advanced techniques like different tile patterns and proper floor and wall preparation. By the end of the course, I felt fully equipped to tackle real-world jobs and start my own business. I’m now proudly running JD Precision Tiling, and I owe a lot of that success to the solid foundation I received at Trades Training.

I recently completed my 6 week Plumbing level 2 diploma with Trades Training School, and I cannot praise them enough. I was apprehensive at first not knowing what to expect, but straight away you feel at ease, with the instructors taking the time to get to know you and what you hope to achieve.

The plumbing instructor Ian is first class, very knowledgeable and patient making sure you understand the course material and that any questions you have are answered.....which I may have had one or two.....

Big credit to the office staff Jane as well, who runs a tight ship, ensuring everything is running smoothly with a big smile to go with it! And of course cant forget Steve....

Looking forward to go back soon to do my Unvented and By-Laws!

An excellent team to support you through your learning process. This was an enjoyable yet thorough experience where the teachers, with a patient and encouraging ethos, will support you to achieve your stated goals. I’ll be back to try out more of the courses on offer.

I'm not a trade / plasterer but needed to find out about the process and costs involved in micro cementing. The course was great - really informative and I feel that I have learned a really useful skill as well as a bank of knowledge

The beginner course was useful however the instructor made me feel as if we were back in school the way he spoke to us. Rude, obnoxious and condescending….i think he must forgot we were BEGINNERS!! Really spoilt the course.

High levels of professional teaching and instructors. Excellent plumbing and tiling courses designed to ensure i can comfortably undertake this type of work following the end of my previous career. Administrated very well in terms of information received prior to Course and throughout Course as well. Very good learning environment with excellent follow up engagement if needed for further information and/or questions. Highly recommended provider.

Completed the bathroom fitting course and very happy with it. Lots of plumbing and tiling learned and confident to now complete my own bathroom renovations. Staff are great and looking forward to going back to learn some plastering :)

Liked the training and felt the instructor was very knowledgeable however the lay out of the centre was quite untidy and segregation between different trades could be better to make it easier whilst working.

Such a great training school.All the staff where very welcoming from the moment you entered made for a good environment for learning. Went for tiling course and the guys where extremely knowledgeable and willing to help with anything couldn’t fault them nothing felt like a stupid question.

I just finished the venetion polished plastering 3 day course. If you are on the fence about making a decision let me assure you this is the perfect place to learn. Amazing friendly staff and very knowledgeable. Thanks Rob and team.

My sat navigation took me close but not directly there and plan for traffic.

Plumbing course was absolutely worth every penny great from start to finish. Special mention to Ian who managed to fill me with a lot of knowledge. I’d highly recommend their course.

Having just completed the 6wk Tiling Diploma course I cannot recommend Trades Training School highly enough. The training and support from Anthony and his team have been nothing short of exceptional. As someone who has made the decision to change careers and set up my own business as a pro tiler all my questions have been more than answered. The course itself covers all the practical stuff from setting out rooms, background prep, tiling - lots of tiling of all shapes, styles and sizes. As well as taken you through job costing and marketing of business. They have put me in the best position possible for success. I would recommend the course to anyone wanting to take up a trade or looking to brush up on their skills.

I am absolutely satisfied with the two week plumbing course. Ian was very clear in his explanations. He let us work alone and was always ready to intervene to lend us a hand if we needed it. I highly recommend this school to anyone who wishes to learn a trade or learn more about one.
