Website shows potentially misleading information for buyers
The rendering of the interior of the Toyota Yaris GR Premium in Toyota.FI shows a steering wheel that only seems to come with the 2026 limited editions of the Toyota Yaris GR, which the Toyota dealers that I contacted don't know anything about. Other Toyota websites in Europe render the interior of the same model with the normal, default steering wheel of the 2024, 2025 models. Also the webpage states that the tyres that it comes with are Michelin Pilot 4S while some toyota dealers say it will come with Bridgestone Potenza Race. Other Toyota importers in other EU countries offer other accessories and configurations for the Yaris GR which are not available in Finland.
Now, it is too much to ask to include in model specifications that the 2026 model comes with a new steering wheel or alternatively correct the rendering on the website so that it matches the actual car the customer is going to get? The same goes for the tyre information. Keeping your website updated with the latest information is basically the bare minimum one would expect from Toyota FI and while you're at it also take the time to properly brief your Toyota dealers on what will be available or not and when. E.g. Note to dealers: In case the customer asks, Toyota Yaris GR limited editions will/will not be available in Finland in 2026, and so on...
