TOWER CABS LIMITED Arvostelua 

Ordered a taxi on the Friday for the Saturday, advising the lady, we had a little dog, this was all ok and the taxi was booked.
We needed to change the time just move it forward 1 hours, we were then told, by a male operative, that dogs are not allowed! If this is the case? why is this not advertised on all these taxi firm’s websites saying “No dogs” I can’t find it, in any of the T&C’s for rental of vehicles, so does this include guid dogs? and Emotional Support Dogs? If this is the case?..it’s discrimination.
This is becoming more and more of an issue in Plymouth, It never used to be a problem back in the day, I wonder why it’s changed? Anyone?
I know drivers are self employed, however, we have never had a problem with Hackney cabs and our dog, I’ve visited other city’s, with no problem with our dog and taxi’s, so why Plymouth? they’re self employed also, in London/Liverpool/Manchester, Exeter, so what is the difference? apart from the drivers.
Anyone have any ideas?
And it’s not just this company.
I phoned a few with the same outcome being told the same story, about a dog making a mess in the back of a cab, I was told this story 3 years ago, so which firm did this actually happen to YEARS AGO!!!
TAXI FAST, EASY CABS, NEED A CAB, TOWER CABS, can anyone say what’s going on in this city.

Carved up by a taxi number 222 Hackney license number phoned they couldn't put me threw to managers totally stupid if they're drivers laugh at your face after they broke the law three times on a roundabout how would u feel utter disturbing driver bet he got his licence from kellogs staff on phone didn't give a toss

Poor service. If the booking is placed in advance you should arrive on time. 30 minutes late is unacceptable.

Kept telling us taxi was going to be 5 mins, called office 5 times and got numerous text, so waited outside In freezing cold as didn't want to go inside and miss it. Eventually Made alternative arrangements and they turned up 50 mins after original time,

Too expensive, unaffordable to get taxis now, a 10mile trip on a Saturday night is around £23 when it was something like £14/£15. Only in an emergency now.

I booked a cab for 7-45pm and 10-45pm for the return journey.The first part went well,but no taxi showed up for the return.I phoned the office and lady said she would check the booking.The line went dead. I made repeated calls but received no answer.
The taxi never showed up. I eventually managed to get another firm to get me home at 12-30am.

One of your drivers just bullied his way through and scraped the side of my car then just he got confrontational with me so dash cam footage is going to the police and insurance company

Honestly, if could be a 0 or negative it would be! Ordered a taxi hours in advance.. after being late I tried ringing with no success because they kept hanging up on me. After being 35 minutes late ( was to collect my child from school) I booked one via a different company and cancelled. Not the first time I've had a bad experience with them!

Will NEVER be using this taxi company again!!

I rang for a taxi to come and pick up myself, my baby sister and my mum from the range. When we got in the taxi my mum states that she can’t sit in the back and needs to sit in the front because of her disability. The taxi driver flew. off. the. handle. and started going mad at her! He says it’s for covid-19 safety but as of a few months ago, all restrictions had been eased. He then proceeded to open the door and DRAG my mum out of the taxi, leaving a red mark on her arm from where he ASSAULTED her!! He was absolutely horrible and his behaviour was appalling and disgusting! When my mum rang to make a complaint, the woman on the phone cut her off and interrupted her multiple times and told my mum it was HER fault!! If you’re thinking of using this company, don’t bother!

I rang to book a taxi which was taking ages. When I spoke to the operator, they initially told me they'd be another 5-10 mins. 15 mins later I called again, this was about 4.30am, the operator told me the driver had been and gone and it would be another 30mins before the next one was available. I told her the only car I saw pull up was an unmarked white van, which didn't look like a taxi, and certainly not a car I would get into as a lone female. The operator then told me I shouldn't be out so late if I was that vulnerable. I couldn't believe what I heard. No notification, no details of the car that would pick me up. Avoid at all costs!

Poor taxi service. I ordered taxi 12 hours in advance, and no one bothered to show up.

Booked a taxi straight after work at 5 and was told the taxi should be with you by 20 past so I popped into Tesco lee mill to grab a drink and stay warm and at quarter past I checked my phone. he was here on the app so I headed out to get in. as I saw the driver and walked towards him I got a notification on my phone? Only to find that my taxi has been cancelled and he drove off 😡 got no phone call to say he was here and what makes it worse the most unhelpful call of all time. when I got a hold of them to see what had happened and to hopefully rebook another taxi the operator said and I quote “he apparently rang me and waited 6 minutes and the next available taxi is at 6 o’clock’ nice 👌 so now they can explain to a bunch of kids why I wasn’t able to get to their football training

Pre booked taxi 3 hours in advance. 5 minutes after taxi due text explaining due to high demand taxi would be assigned as soon as one becomes avaliable. Surely they would of know this before arrival time. Cancelled and now driving. Why can't you just be honest with your customers. Don't just accept and hope you can cover.

Look out for a Moroccan driver called Kal who drives a red Prias. He try’s it on with married or girlfriends of people. He tried it with my fiancé and I’m waiting to see him again.
All other drivers are cool and ok just this one

If I could give a zero I would. I booked a taxi on the app yesterday 20th October to pick me up from work today 21st October. I booked it for 8am. I had just finished a 12 hour shift as a care assistant in a busy residential home. I wanted to go home have a shower and get into bed. Well at 8.15 I rang the company and was told taxi 2 minutes away after another 15 minutes still no taxi my work collegue was also waiting but her taxi didn't arrive either. After another 10 mins I had text to say a driver has been found and will be with you shortly. I clicked on the tracking and the taxi was 10 minutes away. So I finished work at 8am and finally got home at 9.30.
What's the point in having an app to book taxi's if your dont even arrive on time. I had been using Tower cabs for over 2 years but never again. Even the prices are getting expensive. They lie and they don't care about their customers cause if they did they wouldn't make them wait for the taxi to arrive. I definitely would NOT recommend this company unless you like waiting around.

Cab booked but after being 50 minutes late, then texted to say could not find the property, despite large house numbers and myself standing in my doorway. When called to see where/why cab was late, dispatcher suggested it was my fault, unbloodybelievable!!!!
Absolute blatant bulls__t! Unreliable and unprofessional. Do not recommend the cowboys.

Absolutely disgusting... booked a taxi in advance for 8am taxi arrived 30 mins later the driver told me he didn't get my job till 8.20 my kids where over 30 mins late for school... Absolutely disgraceful

Absolutely brilliant taxi firm who helped us out and was there within 10 minutes recommend highly !
