Studying my level 5 TCM course with Total Therapy has been a really transformative experience and I’m glad I went with this course. The diverse knowledge we received from all tutors was really helpful and it was reassuring to see how important safety and support was in every stage of our learning.

I completed the cosmetic acupuncture course with total therapy training and the course was above and beyond my expectations.
Not only did we learn anatomy of the face, skin care and acupuncture points we were also shown other techniques that can be used on the body.
Lots of information backed up with practical demonstrations.
Can’t wait to do another course!

I have been on many training courses and attended quite a few colleges, but Totaltherapy has been the best. Easily explained, very welcoming and knowledgeable tutors with back up admin and support second to none. I would recommend to anyone who wants to get into acupuncture, massage or any holistic/alternative/complimentary therapy, you won’t find better!

Brilliant course, very informative and amazing teachers. A little disorganised at times but definitely one of the best things I have ever done. Highly recommend for anyone who has a passion for alternative health or feels that acupuncture could support their existing practice 😊

What a fantastic course this was very informative and enjoyable

I’ve started using the herbs already

Highly recommended

It was a course I was waiting for a while to attend, and it didn't disappoint.
Chris Davies is definitely most knowledgeable person when it comes to traditional Chinese medicine, and it definitely extends to Japanese too. The course was held in very relaxed atmosphere, despite the amount of information being relayed. A lot of time was given to practice of the Moxa, as the best way to learn the techniques correctly is by doing. The course is catered to all levels of knowledge, wether a practicing acupuncturist or a student, Chris helps everyone to understand the subject and master the skills.
I would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking to broaden the approach holistic healing in their therapy clinics.

Total Therapy Training is nothing short of fantastic. The trainers are knowledgeable, supportive, and the content is clear and practical. A top-notch experience from start to finish - highly recommended!

My great experience with Total therapy training is that the tutors have details of knowledge of Chinese medicine. They are always trying their very best to teach the students, they have their unique technique which I found they are very useful in my practice. I got strong encouragement from day one to learn and practice acupuncture. And I attended most of the training with them, which added extra skills in my practice, combine them together to achieve a better result. The tutors are very friendly, they are always there to help when I needed. The social media groups give us opportunities to share different cases to help each other , to feel connected after the training. Since 2019 I started learning from Total therapy training until today my busy clinic, I highly recommend them to anyone who is interested in Chinese Medicine.

Attending Total Therapy acupuncture course has been one of the most rewarding and transformative experiences of my professional journey. From the very first day, the program delivered far beyond my expectations in both content and quality.

The instructors were not only incredibly knowledgeable but also passionate about Traditional Chinese Medicine and committed to student success. Their ability to break down complex concepts into practical, understandable modules made learning both accessible and deeply engaging. Each lecture was enriched with historical context, modern applications, and plenty of hands on practice.

What set this course apart was the emphasis on real life skills. We had numerous supervised practical sessions that gave us the confidence and competence to perform acupuncture safely and effectively. The feedback from tutors was constructive, personalised, and encouraging.

The course structure is a perfect balance between theoretical understanding and practical application. We explored meridian theory, point location, needling techniques, safety protocols, and patient communication, all backed by current research and traditional wisdom.

Another highlight was the supportive learning environment. Students came from diverse backgrounds, and the sense of community and shared purpose added immense value to the experience.

Whether you’re a beginner or looking to deepen your practice, I highly recommend this course to anyone serious about acupuncture. It’s not just a class it’s a gateway to a deeper understanding of healing and holistic care.

I’m especially grateful to Dr. Philip, Michelle, and Chris—each brought their own depth, warmth, and expertise to the course. Their guidance made complex concepts accessible and inspired real confidence in clinical practice.
