Travelled in July 2024. Was verbally abused, sworn at, and shouted at by the driver because he took a different route due to traffic and then refused to let us off the bus so that we could get where we wanted to go. Made a complaint and police report there and then. Almost 6 months on, I'm still waiting for an acknowledgement to my complaint and the driver's name for the police report. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

We had a great time on the Tootbus Christmas Lights Tour. Lawrence, our guide, was full of knowledge and information and together with his jokes, we all enjoyed a fun tour! We saw everything we needed in the 70 minute tour, and were even given free Christmas hats! Will definitely return and go with Tootbus next year. A word of advice though...wrap up warm!

I’ve messaged for at least a partial refund because £60 for a Christmas lights tour of London is a rip off. Don’t do it! Dreadful tour guide, kicked by kids all the way around who were permitted to squeeze into the two seats behind us with their parents, ridiculous route.

Buses were few and far between, they stop at 5pm but do not make this clear, easier to walk or take other transport, don’t waste your money. Also no one offers headphones or maps, you really have to know what you’re doing and fend for yourself.

Very expensive for very little value. The English commentary on the Paris bus is inane and tells you nothing about the sights on the tour. Also, the bus took half an hour to arrive when it was claimed to be running every 10 minutes.

Thanks to the Turkish guy who was so helpful giving my daughter and myself advice on getting around in Paris!!!!

Tootbus - lange Wartezeit und wenig Information
Wir mussten fast 1h an der Glouster Road auf den ersten Bus warten, der nach ca 30 min einen Schaden hatte, sodass alle aussteigen mussten. Der Ersatzbus hat uns zurück in die Richtung gebracht, aus der wir kamen. Keiner konnte uns weiterhelfen und wir liefen schließlich 2km, um an anderer Stelle wieder der blauen Route zuzusteigen. Vor allem rund um Westminster und den Tower of London gab es keine (!!) Informationen, sondern nur Musik in schlechter Qualität. Die Informationen in Kensington und Knightsbridge waren nicht sehr sachlich.

The Tootbus didn't come for 1.5 hours in the morning. We waited at Kings Cross until men, who worked for other bus companies (no one from Tootbus was there), took pity on us and called Tootbus to ask them when the bus was coming. It was said that there had been bus cancellations. While we were waiting, other bus companys passed by: 3 Busses from Golden Tour Bus, 2 Big Red Busses, 3 London Sightseeing Busses. No Tootbus... One of the men offered us (because my kids looked quite miserable by then) a free bus ride with his company (the Sightseeing-one, thank you so much for beeing kind) when Tootbus finally arrived. On the Tootbus, the quality of the audio was poor. And there was so much music, not much information. The stops were not announced properly, so it was hard to find out, when to get off. Also the WLAN was not working. And one of the drivers sent us to the wrong place to change the busses in the afternoon. We missed the Changing of the Guards at Buckingham Palace in the morning because of the waiting time and in the afternoon we didn't make it to the Natural History Museum in time because we were given the wrong location. After the trip I asked for a partly refund of the ticket costs – but because I buyed the ticket at a plattform, which is not run by Tootbus, Tootbus can't do anything about it – at least this is what they said. Choose another bus company would be my advice now. Last year I used a Big Red Bus, while in London, I really liked the audio there, they are telling quite some interesting stories about the city, the music fits to the stories. And I can also recommend London Sightseeing (for having the nicest persons working at Kings Cross) and this Golden Tour Bus for arriving so often. At least, one good thing at Tootbus, the driver of the bus has been generally friendly.

Spild af tid - og spild af penge.
Vi endte med at droppe det og tage den offentlige trafik rundt i London i stedet. Meget bedre!
