I placed an order in good faith with Johnny at Toolfix on 17th July for a Dewalt nail gun and accessories and paid the price quoted of £180. Over 6 weeks have now passed and nothing has been received. I should have known something was not right when he advised that 'the bank details supplied for their Sum Up business bank account into which payment should be made won't be recognised but they are all correct' (my fault entirely for not trusting my gut feeling). Delivery was then promised to be made within 1-2 days, nothing!!! He further advised that if nothing was received in next few days following, he would arrange a refund - nothing again!!! Following a number of messages chasing him up he then told me he was arranging another courier as DPD had 'dropped him in the s..t'. On 27th July Johnny wrote to me to advise that Royal Mail would be picking the products up from DPD later that day and would deliver within 24 hours - still nothing!!! On 31st July he wrote to confirm that goods 'were on the way, I can assure you' - still nothing!!!

I have been chasing Johnny again right through August and he is now ignoring all of my messages and phonecalls. Clearly I have been shafted for £180 (my fault, I suppose) so all I can now do is warn others of my experience and let them decide for themselves as to whether they wish to deal with Toolfix. I would suggest, through my own experience, and the fact that I have still received nothing from them, DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY

It is the third time I have used the website. Toolfix has an excellent tool selection there. I think they specialise in Milwaukee tools. They have a unique collection of this brand, which is uncommon in Europe and even rarer in Ireland, available for immediate shipping.
The prices are very competitive, and the shipping is lightfast. On the three orders I made, they all arrived in 1 or 2 days after the order. Not even Amazon can do that.
They are now my place to go for tools. I wish they had a shop here in Dublin to spend my entire salary on their catalogue.

I bought a DeWalt small Tstak case for a fraction of what others were selling it for.

I ordered a new Black & Decker Electric Hedge Trimmer BEHTS 401 on Tuesday & it was promptly delivered on Wednesday morning, ie from Dundalk to Co. Limerick. I was kept updated by Toolfix all throughout the 24 hours. It was just the easiest transaction between us. I highly praise their professionalism. Also, it was the exact model I required. Thank you.

The product was dispatched quickly and arrived well-packaged. Have purchased power-tools from them before, all Milwaukee. Always been happy with the speed and service so far. Price was competitive, It was a power grease gun. Previously purchased a power drill and impact driver.

I bought a 14inch husqvarna diamond blade off of toolfix and only received a 12 inch which is no good for me and cost more for 14 in blade I sent them a email no reply I rang them straight away they said they would ring me back the next day still waiting

Ordered a pair of roller stands online at a good price two nights ago. Order arrived this morning with DPD, securely (and very tidily) packaged and were as I hoped. So, all good and would recommend this seller.

Brilliant service bought a dewalt 12 amp battery on sale cheaper than any other site I looked on... 9 amps were more expensive on other sites than the 12 amp fast delivery too

Toolfix online= fast delivery. Ordered with Toolfix after Hardy Hardware let me down yet again! Communication was excellent with conformation pack and Fast Way Couriers had it at my door with tracking letting me know progress.
Two days after popping order in I’m holding the tools, some outfits can’t even pack an order in a week.

I visited ToolfIx yesterday 2 August around 11.30am The staff were not friendly, when I approached the counter there were two staff members who were not engaged in any activities and when I approached one of them he informed me that the other staff member would deal with me when I approached the second staff member he told me to go back to the first one and then the two of them started to laugh I took from their manner that they did not wand to engage with me so I left (Note I purchased the item I wanted from another retail outlet) they sarcastically wished me a good day. When I was browsing in the gallery earlier another customer enquired for assistance and they informed him that there was a staff member up there they did not assist him, he jokingly mentioned that he would come back to the shop when the other staff member was available so he left also empty handed. May I mention that I counted 5 staff members who seemed to be available and at this time only myself and another potential customer were the only ones in the shop, the service was terrible or should I say lack of it. I will not be back to this establishment as itwas a terrible experience.

Excellent service. Good communication before I decided to buy. Excellent drill at a very good price. Tried and works with no issues. Only reason I marked down is delivery service they are using are not great.
Will still probably use again .

I have bought Dewalt DCK266P2T brushless kit 30.04.2020. and charger doesn't work at all.I send few emails I call them several times but nobody answer. I definitely not recommend this company.

Excellent service and easy to use website. They've been much needed during the Covid lockdown and still manage to have most of what we need in stock, which is amazing, all things considered. Their click and collect service is brilliant and the order is ready to collect from our local store in minutes!

Excellent Service. Ordered Monday 13th April - Bosch electric lawnmower. It was delivered and received Wednesday 15th April by Carrier. Delivery just €4.99. Item exactly as advertised and received in perfect condition. Effecient prompt service during a Bank Holiday weekend. First time to buy online from this Company and very impressed especially during the Coronavirus pandemic when Companies are trying to dispatch so many online orders.
