I reached out to Tom during a difficult time, feeling overwhelmed by the college application process and other things. Tom came up with the idea of a trello board which helped me immensely to organise my applications in a clear, structured manner, ensuring I knew exactly what needed to be submitted and when. One of my biggest struggles was time management, and Tom introduced me to time-blocking strategies that made my workload feel more manageable and less overwhelming. Through this process, I learned various learning methodologies that I know will serve me well when I begin my program this fall (fingers crossed!). I have so much left to do, but I wanted to take a moment to thank you, Tom, for your help throughout this journey.

I stumbled across Tom’s social media page when I felt really lost in terms of getting back on track with studying. It was easy to reach out and schedule the first online meeting. He listened, took down notes and put words to describe my situation, which, sometimes is easy because when you are overwhelmed it’s difficult to find words to describe the situation you are in.
It took me seconds to say yest to the program but it took me time to adjust to the cost. It is leaning towards a higher end program in terms of cost. But all the sessions were rich in practical approach and most importantly, taking accountability on your progress. As a coach, Tom is objective and straight to the results he wanted the students to achieve because by experience, he knew that this will be an important milestone. He was professional and intuitive in his approach in the sense that he patiently listens and asks the right questions to get to the bottom of the situation. He held me accountable for my results and improvements. He is a great coach! All the best to Tom’s team and I believe that you will have a significant impact on your students’ lives as you had on mine.

Tom has supported me a lot academically by sharing effective study methods and providing regular follow-ups. I was struggling with procrastination, but through group video conferences, he created a structured environment that helped me stay on track. He also invited successful people to motivate and inspire us. This guidance helped me stay disciplined and committed to my studies. It made me feel good and allowed me to take responsibility for achieving my goals. I encountered him on Instagram. I didn't expect much when I signed up but when he contacted me on whatsapp I was surprised by his very sociable personality. Seeing other people from all over the world encouraged me a lot too.

Tom has been a great coach and mentor to me. I did a personal coaching program for 3 month with him and I appreciated a lot his patience and flexibility with me, as I am a part time student having to focus on work as well. Tom has a very direct and honest approach which I personally preferred while he helped me with time management and learning issue's. He had very quick response times on whatsapp if I had a question and the coaching calls were structured very efficiently as well.

Living with clinically diagnosed ADHD and high levels of anxiety, I have relied on both medication and weekly therapy to manage my challenges. However, nothing could have prepared me for how profoundly Tom’s program would change my life.
At 58, I embarked on a second academic journey, enrolling in an accelerated BSN program. The rigorous pace quickly became overwhelming, and the structured, successful life I had built no longer seemed to hold together. I searched tirelessly for study methods, spoke to numerous academic programs, and explored various options. Yet, most programs offered only lengthy study modules that added to my already demanding workload until I found The Study Coach – Tom.
Tom is not just a coach; he is an active guide who genuinely invests in his students. His program is not a shortcut to success, it requires commitment, focus, and trust in the process. What sets Tom apart is his kindness, relatability, and unwavering dedication. He goes beyond his role to support his students, creating a space where struggles can be shared without judgment.
Before joining Tom’s program, I was shackled to my desk, constantly studying, working hard, and achieving high grades but at the cost of my well-being. I felt isolated, exhausted, and questioned my decision to return to school every day. In May 2024, I took a leap of faith, put my trust in Tom, and fully committed to practicing his methods with consistency. Trying new things can be uncomfortable, but what a gift it is when that discomfort leads to an unexpected and life-changing shift.
By August, my world transformed. I was no longer studying 24/7. Instead, I had developed efficient and effective study habits and even made the Dean’s List. I slept well again, rediscovered my love for learning, found time to exercise, and reconnected with family and friends. Tom gave me the tools to take control of my studies and my life. My ADHD medication was reduced, and my anxieties no longer dictated my days, I was even able to stop anxiety medication entirely.
Returning to my opening words: “Never worry alone.” Having the space to share my struggles with Tom and receiving the right support has changed my life in every way. I will always hold him in the highest regard for his integrity, his unwavering commitment to helping others, and his belief that each of us has a light that can shine as brightly as we allow it to.

Bijna een jaar geleden startte ik met Tom samen een traject om het leren voor mij makkelijker en efficiënter te maken. Ik was op dat moment bezig met mijn toelatingstoets van mijn pre-master opleiding. Daarvoor heb ik een mbo en een hbo opleiding gevolgd wat niet altijd makkelijk af ging als het gaat om leren. Om die reden stapte ik op Tom af om te starten met ‘leren om te leren’.
Het is mij enorm goed bevallen. Tom kijkt goed naar jou specifieke vraag en waar jij hulp bij nodig hebt. Hij blijft tijdens het traject nauw betrokken maar geeft ruimte om zeker zelf aan de slag te gaan. Dit is dan ook echt nodig want als je zelf geen moeite erin steekt zal er ook weinig uit komen.
Als je moeite hebt met concentreren, efficiënt leren of gewoon niet weet waar je moet beginnen is, zou ik Tom aanraden om je daarbij te helpen!

Tom was my personal study coach in my pre master stage. He is energetic, patient, and professional. During the three months, I have learned time management skills and efficient study methods from him. Highly recommend!

Great Experience with the Study coach Academy. To begin with i failed one class during last year before graduation and i was on the list of probation then i found out tom videos on instagram how studies and our mindset works in real world. so i have join academy on November 2024 since then i have made a huge difference in study life as well as work-life. got A+ from D use some of the best techniques that i never heard or seen before and it work like charm. so i writing this review to students who are struggling with studies or work i strongly advised to join the studycoach academy and have one on one session with TOM for about 12 weeks and it's worth it. lastly i like to thanks tom for this wonderful experience and life changing advise.

At the beginning, I was skeptic about working with Tom so I kept procrastinating taking action. But it came a point in my life where I was fed up with being in the same situation over and over again, struggling with time management, lack of motivation, procrastination, overwhelmed with the mountain of topics to study, you name it...

I reached out to Tom and begged him to teach me how to learn and it was the best decision I ever made. He taught me countless methods so we could figure out which one would work best for me, he became my accountability buddy and supported me every. single. time. He has built a community where you learn to feel safe which I believe is very important in order to make the most of the calls.

Today I know what methods I can use and I'm on a mission to continue working on my discipline and my mindset. In under two months, I saw results and it has motivated me to keep going. Sometimes it's not easy, but you just have to keep showing up for yourself and trust that Tom will guide you in the right direction.

I had failed several of my classes and was about to be kicked out of from my university program. I was frustrated and desperately needed help. Once I reached out to this program I was given complete support and personalised training that suited my learning needs. After three months of coaching and working with Tom, I got straight A’s in my classes and have continued to do well in my studies.

Tom helped me to tackle the causal problems behind my struggling to study. Even though I already have gone through long universities studies, I couldn't manage to work and study at the same time and I was really anxious. Receiving the aid from Tom I could start this process of changing the mindset, I gained clarity on my goals, we could find target-oriented solutions on planning and taking actions on time management, and utilizing the best proven methods to learn. I can only recommend it.

I found across Tom's account on Instagram last year in February. At the moment I was struggling to juggle a full-time job, two children and a divorce. On the top of it the deadline for my thesis was looming in August. It was important for me to prove to myself that I can organise myself and submit the thesis as a final stoke of me 3 years long MSc.The old methods of studying though have not seem to work anymore. I was overwhelmed in so many levels. Tom offered me a working approach based on small steps and accountability. Our weekly sessions helped me immensely to stick to the plan of writing and studying daily, of prioritizing this task over hundreds of others. He helped me to not get lost in overthinking and despair. His support was constant, I felt he knows what to do to help me overcome each new obstacle. In less than 7 months I submitted the two remaining assignments and a thesis of 6k words. When my graduation certificate arrived recently I felt very emotional: though a very tough period Tom helped me to achieve my goal.

I can't recommend Tom enough! From day one, he has been incredibly supportive, knowledgeable, and dedicated to helping me reach my academic goals. His personalised approach, and one-to-one coaching made a huge difference in my confidence and study habits.
